Holiday rentals in Te Anau

I won't repeat all of the great things others have said about Doug and Sharyn's beautiful home other than to enthusiastically confirm those compliments. We (4 adults) had the pleasure of spending 4 nights there in mid-March and loved every minute of our stay there - and were disappointed to leave. Just a really really great place that is conveniently located for nearby hikes as well as walking distance to town for shopping and dining. We appreciate Doug and Sharyn allowing us the privilege to have stayed at their family home.

By far one of my favorite Airbnb properties. I HIGHLY recommend staying here for any families especially if you have young children. The rooms were nice and dark (we had a baby so it was perfect for nap times) and there were plenty of toys etc for us to use whilst there. Te Anau has so much to offer and Milford Sounds is an easy drive from the Airbnb. Comfy beds, beautiful fire place, ducted heating, everything you need.

Our family stayed here on the day of our trip to Milford Sound. When we asked if we could leave our luggages at the house slightly earlier than usual check in time so that we can travel the 2hours to Milford Sound without the luggage, Josh and Kelly said the house should be ready by then for an early check in instead :) Very kind and friendly. The house was as described and the street is very peaceful. The lake is at walking distance and is beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend people travelling to Milford Sound to stay overnight:)

Rachel’s Airbnb was a wonderful stay! It was a great location in Te Anua, with easy walking access to town and restaurants. Rachel was a great host - she was very friendly, responsive, and shared great recommendations for food and activities. The apartment itself was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed. We highly recommend a stay at her AirBnb!

Stunning location looking over the lake, right by walking paths lakeside and into town. Grab this place if you can!

Linda’s place was immaculate, peaceful, and beautiful inside and outside. We loved using Manapouri as a base for our Kepler Track and Milford hikes. We also loved being able to walk to the lake, Church bar, and Doubtful Sound cruise. It’s close to Te Anu but feels closer to nature. You can’t ask for a prettier view or more helpful host. Perfect stay!

1000/10 experience! Incredible stay at Jodie’s! Our only regret is not staying longer. The space is absolutely gorgeous and the backdrop was stunning. We loved the outdoor spa and coupled with the star gazing, it was just magical. We experienced a power outage during our stay but we still loved our experience and hope to return one day!

We had a very nice stay. The place is accurate as shown in pic. Can see the mountains from the windows. Awesome! Big lake, grocery store, yummy eateries, gas station within 5 min walk. Very convenient. Loved that. The place is more spacious than in pic. 2 levels. Big kitchen. The recliners are supper comfy! Elaine is very prompt and courteous in all of her communications with us. We enjoyed our stay..
