Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Teignmouth

Really amazing and unique place to stay in this 70’s hideaway on the edge of Dartmouth. Once you catch you breath after the 100 steps to the front door, you will be rewarded with a really quirky and stylish house hidden in the trees, but with tantalising views of the River Dart. It was so quiet at night and it’s only a 20 minute walk into the town that you really have the best of both worlds. Perfect for a couple or young family. The garage at the bottom was fine for our little polo but you might struggle to get anything bigger in it but there was space on the street if needed. We loved the place and will be back!

We had a fabulous stay. The accommodation was fantastic. We loved the hi spec kitchen for the only meal we cooked whilst there. It was a home from home. Only being a brisk 5 min walk from the promenade was a bonus. Near to restaurants and shops too.

Stayed at the house for New Year with our family of 4 children aged between 4 and 15.. Perfect location, within walking distance to sea front and all local amenities. The house had everything we needed and catered for all ages! Stuart was very helpful from the moment we booked and was able to recommend things to do for New Year’s Eve! Thank you for a lovely stay!

I would highly recommend this property for larger groups. Great location, clean, spacious and modern. Communication was almost instantaneous and check in was via a box on site, so very easy! Car parking for at least 2 cars with on street parking for other within a minute or so walk, and having the Tesco nearby was convenient for fuel and anything else we needed during our stay. Would easily stay here again!

Great stay at No.1 Beachdown. Everything we needed for a perfect stay and amazing views. Had a very relaxing week and so many great places to visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Marc's home, it's located in a very quiet cul-de-sac with very friendly neighbours. The upstairs of the house consists of 3 bedrooms and a bathroom (with walk-in shower) while the downstairs is a spacious open-plan area leading onto a huge decking area. There is also a useful downstairs WC which isn't shown in the listing. Everything was spotlessly clean. The kitchen has everything you need, even tea and coffee is provided (you'll find the toaster in one of the cupboards). There is a full size fridge/freezer; washing machine in utility cupboard. There is an out-building which we found really useful to store our 3 bikes and bikerack. The dryer can be found here but we just used the clothes line in the garden. There was a nice welcome box with wine, biscuits, sweets & butter. Just down the road is a great chippy called Fishionados. All in all, Marc's place really is a 'home from home' - thoroughly recommended.

We’ve had a fantastic week at Chris and Tanya’s apartment. The apartment was clean and had all the amenities for a very comfortable stay. Both Chris and Tanya were great hosts, responding quickly to any queries we had. Bigbury and Burgh Island is a special place for us, so spending it overlooking Burgh Island was unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back again!

We had a lovely few days visiting family in Exeter. The flat was just right for access to family and Heavitree Park (via the back gate) where our little dog could run around. The flat is well equipped, spotlessly clean and a cosy retreat from the winter weather. Adrian & Lizzie were very communicative, helpful and clearly cared that we were happy will all aspects of the property; and we were. We will be recommending the property to others and expect to book again the next time we are in Exeter. Thank you Adrian and Lizzie for sharing your flat with us.

Was an absolutely beautiful apartment, didn’t want to leave. Host was quick at responding and everything u need was in the apartment. Comfy bed, great tv with Netflix and other apps, kitchen has all the utensils to cook a great dinner.

Was really homely and would love to book up once a month for the next 7 months but unfortunately he never responded

what a fantastic apartment and super host! the apartment was spotless and so warm and cosy when we arrived, it's got everything you need and finished to an extremely high standard. The views over the estuary from the private outdoor area are stunning! Pauline was so helpful giving us recommendations for the local area, checking we were settled in and prior to our stay making a few alterations as my partner is allergic to feathers. The apartment is in a fantastic quiet location and only a 10 minute walk to the shops, pubs and restaurants. Thank you Pauline, we loved it! 🙂

Everything correct on previous reviews. It’s just lovely. We enjoyed the peace being out of season. The apartment is exactly as specified, very well presented and equipped to a high standard. Light, comfortable with fabulous views wherever you look. Three different ferries across to Dartmouth walkable from the apartment. Great pubs and cafes this side in addition to many many in Dartmouth. Great walking in both directions as far or as brief as you fancy. Loads to do in the immediate local area. It’s well placed and kitted out for a complete recharge or an active stay - or a mix of the two!! Really recommend.

Another great holiday at Goodrington Lodge. We've stayed numerous times in different apartments here over the last 10 years or so and we still come back every year. The location is great for us and is very dog friendly. Our 2 Jack Russell's love it. Apartment 7 is ideal for us and the dogs and was spotlessly clean on arrival. Adam is a great host, very friendly and quick to reply to messages. We will be back again for certain!

Moira rescued as after a previous booking had broken heating so she only had 30 minutes notice of our arrival. The place was very clean she put the heaters on and once it warmed up was toasty. Moira was very welcoming but didn't interfere into our time away. We really enjoyed our stay and would like to come back. It's a really short walk down the hill to Brixham which was a lovely village to visit, we didn't use the car at all for the two days we were there.

Amazing apartment, short walking distance from shops, resteraunts, cafes & bars. Many walking trails, beaches and activities in the local srea. Thomas is fast and responsive.

Really lovely apartment in a great location, a very short walk to the seafront/harbour and town. Lots of extras like a welcome pack, toiletries, books, DVDs and parking permit (needed and very appreciated, we were able to park close by all weekend). Clean and tidy throughout. Host gives plenty of information and also contacted us to check in early once the apartment was ready, couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended.

The location was perfect for the town centre and all it offers. Super convenient. We had the benefit of a parking permit which was incredibly helpful and the car park just a few minutes walk away. Stunning apartment that was so much bigger than we expected. Would stay again. Very clean and tidy, fresh towels, super comfy beds and lounge furniture. Roz was lovely to deal with. A great host.

We had a perfect stay at the Waves - the place was pristine, bright, and cosy with a calm atmosphere. The master bedroom on the first floor is so bright and spacious and has a sea view, which was a lovely surprise! There are lovely decorative touches everywhere and we had everything we could possibly need. There is even a cute little courtyard garden. The beds were so comfortable, the bedding was good quality, and it's a very peaceful place to sleep. The location is outstanding, a two minute stroll to the seafront and a 10 minute walk from the centre of town and loads of great restaurants and pubs. The parking was so convenient, right next door to the property and covered. Jackie provided all the information we needed and left milk, scones, clotted cream and jam for our arrival - thank you!

We had a very enjoyable stay - the host was very helpful on arrival, especially in giving us ideas of where to go during our stay. The property was extremely clean and very well equipped, therefore made our stay all the more enjoyable. Would highly recommend this property to all.
