this place is beautiful! off the beaten path and the scenery is amazing! would highly recommend anyone to stay here!

We couldn’t of picked a better spot for our wedding anniversary! Janice’s place is so quaint & beautiful, a unique place to relax and get away from all life’s distractions. We immediately felt right at home as Janice greeted us and showed us around the property. There is so much to do just walking around the grounds, we stayed right on the creek, and had our very own secluded hot tub. Its was very comfy in the room and even had homemade breakfast delivered to our door. We loved every minute of our stay and can’t wait to stay with Janice again! Highly Recommend!!

Syresa & Lonnie made us feel right at home! The property was very welcoming and the grounds were beautiful. Our room was clean and comfortable. The provided breakfast was just what we needed to start our day. We will look for an excuse to return for sure!

I don’t normally write reviews but this property is AMAZING! Both Kathi and David were very thorough and provided excellent service and communication. Even made our Anniversary extra special and we felt like they were friends by the time we left! Very highly recommended to anyone who wants a peaceful friendly environment and if you love hobby farms, kayaking, fishing, Anything outdoors, this is a must see!

What a wonderful and relaxing place Hiwassee Acres is! Kathi and David are wonderful hosts and have created a truly amazing place to visit, explore, relax, and get away to. Hiwassee Acres is nestled in rural Tennessee right next to the river and mountains. The facility has so much to do and explore, including hiking, kayaking, playing with the farm animals, or just relaxing outside to take in the scenery. The surrounding area is quite beautiful with lots of outdoor activities. We took a ride on the Tennessee Valley Railroad during our visit, which I highly recommend. While the outside at Hiwassee Acres has so much beauty, the inside does as well. We stayed in a unit at the lodge, which is clean, modern, and decorated beautifully. Our unit had everything that was needed during our stay including a well-equipped kitchen, bedroom, and sitting area with a large tv that could be viewed from both areas the sitting area and bedroom. The common space has so much to offer and was a relaxing place to hang out, eat breakfast, and look at the scenery. We will certainly be back and recommend Hiwassee Acres to anyone traveling in the area or looking for a relaxing place to visit and unwind.

As a repeat guest, this is my favorite place to visit when I’m in the area. Kathi and David go above and beyond to ensure a great stay. Between the comfort, cleanliness, beautiful views and the exceptional hospitality, I highly recommend staying here. I will be back to visit every chance that I get. I’m so very thankful for Hiwassee Acres!!

Great stay! Place was beautiful, peaceful, and the breakfast was great! It's a peaceful setting, and we had a relaxing time. The main building is really cool, and they set us up for a fire down on the huge patio. Breakfast was at 8, and was amazing, but for lunch and dinner be mindful that most food places are about 15 minutes away. Most restaurants near the inn close at 8, once we figured that out, we did fine. There is Mexican food, and an awesome pizza place close by. Overall we loved our stay.

This place was a gem! Hosts were very nice and flexible with check in and check out. The property is absolutely gorgeous and well kept. The rooms were exactly like the photos and everything was very clean. We were very happy with our stay and will definitely be coming back for another vacation!

the hospitality and kindness towards me and my gf was amazing. everyone’s demeanor was so lovely and speaking with them was very wholesome. the rooms were very clean and cozy and the atmosphere around the campground was out of this world. i couldn’t recommend any other place!
