Amazing stay at Carol’s place by Lake Texoma. Felt secluded with beautiful, quiet surroundings!! Inside was cozy and comfortable. Great beds, wonderful amenities- had everything we needed and more for our family of 3! Carol even provided a high chair, pack and play and toys for our almost 2yr old.If you’re considering a stay here, I definitely recommend it!

Our guests really enjoyed the very clean brand new house, they commented on how wonderful the water pressure was, the showers were terrific!!! A special thank you to Al Mickler. He went beyond expectations taking care of our guests. Thank you, thank you!!!! Also we want to thank the new owners of "Buncombe Creek Marina" who have greatly improved and expanded the Marina who I know have great plans for it, for years to come. Their investment is greatly appreciated, The community has never looked so good!!! Again....thank you.

Sander's Island Retreat - 2 mins to Beach!

If people complain about spiders, they’ve obviously never been out in the woods or near the woods. The place was great. We even got visited by a sweet gray kitty while we were there (he was outside on the front porch). Only spiders were outside garden spiders. The ONLY thing we would change is the lack of curtains or blinds in all the rooms outside the bedrooms. That’s no blinds in the living room so the neighbor building across the street just sat there sometimes staring in our direction which made my teenaged daughters feel uneasy. Feels odd at night watching a movie and wondering if perhaps you’ve stepped into an inadvertent movie yourself. As far as the home itself - it is exactly as described and had a very homely feel to it. The lake is a 8 minute walk or 1 minute drive away. It was a great place and yes, we would stay there again. We would just bring huge towels to cover the front windows. Also, the host is super responsive and very nice as well!

We booked this location because it was close by and perfect for our holiday overflow guests. The report from our guest was it was very clean and the property was very peaceful. Just as described, we hope it’s available the next time we need extra space for our guests.

Tresa was super responsive, very lenient and kind. The decor was very cute and homey. LOTS of places to sit. The shampoo, conditioner, and bar of soap was a nice touch. Very well stocked with kitchenware and the 3 porch areas were very lovely.

We had a wonderful stay at Jillyn’s airBnB, we were in the area for a wedding. The house was cozy and had plenty of space for our group. Jillyn was so kind and flexible and was always quick to respond to messages. I would definitely recommend this airBnB to anyone attending a wedding in the area!

I honestly didn’t expect the house to look as nice as it did. Meg you did your big one with this house!! it had a nice backyard, tall ceiling, big space and it’s in a nice location, and she was super sweet!! WILL be checking in here more often.

We loved this place! Such a charming home. Very clean and loved our host! We hosted our family Thanksgiving here and it was beyond perfect. Our kids played outside in the backyard from sun up till sun down. Such a blast! Perfect for all your get togethers! We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay. Host was very responsive to questions and gave clear instructions. The home was very clean and comfortable. In a nice safe area. The property is spacious and matches the photos. The fully equipped kitchen is great for meal prep, and the lake view adds to the charm. The rooms look well-maintained, and the main bathroom has an elegant touch. There are two rooms with a shared bathroom, making it a convenient setup, especially if you're traveling with kids. The pool looks great and has a safety entrance for kids or pets, though we weren’t able to use it due to the cold weather. The theatre room was perfect to keep kids busy while the adults are socializing outside. We celebrated a baby shower here, and the space was perfect for hosting—plenty of parking spots and lots of room for everyone. Some renovations and expansions are still ongoing, but overall, this would be a perfect spot for a summer getaway!
