Kid-friendly holiday rentals in The Berkshires

Well kept clean old house and furnishings. Terrific unobstructed view of the Hudson from two of the bedrooms and living room facing East. I loved sitting by the bay window in the master bedroom with the sun shining in watching barges on the river and with views of the town of Hudson on the far side of the river. The owners stuff was in the closets and refrigerator and freezer full of her food but that did not bother me. I appreciate having condiments, salt, sugar and pepper available. There is a washer/dryer but no dishwasher and only one bathroom. Also no shades on the East facing window in the master bedroom so light streamed in at sunrise.

My adult daughters and I came up for Presidents Day weekend. There was a winter storm and very cold and windy- even closed the mountain where we were going to cross country ski at. We spent a lot of time in the house. It is clean and very warm and very nicely furnished. The kitchen has everything needed with quality cookware. Beds were comfortable with nice linens and plenty of clean towels. Overall a very nice place to stay.

What an amazing experience! We went with our close friends total of 4 adults and 5 kids ranging from 1 year to 10 years old. Entertainment for all, everything was so well thought out. From individual makeup remover for the ladies to kids baby toys to board games! I appreciated I didn’t have to pack any kitchen appliances! We are already talking about booking and staying here again! Thank you so much!

Despite booking my stay with three other friends for my birthday during February, it was the absolute best decision. Everything was as described, lot of great in-home amenities including games (i.e. ping pong, pool, tons of table-top entertainment.) Scott was absolutely one of the best hosts I have coordinated and communicated with. He would check-in to ensure we had what we needed and when there was a heavy snowfall the evening prior to our departure date- he immediately checked in and had the walkway and driveway cleared of snow. Lot of great, beautiful hikes in the snowfall and do hope to have the opportunity to return during the warmer season. Thank you, again, for the wonderful accommodations and for being such a proactive and communicative host!

Amos was a terrific host! He was very accommodating and helped us out when our minivan got stuck in snow. The house was beautiful with amazing views. The kitchen had all of the essentials needed, beds were comfy, there were enough bathrooms for our big group, and there was plenty of room to sit & relax. We played lots of family games in the great room and one friend brought up watercolors to paint the incredible views. The kids had a great time playing in the snow and we were even able to get out to a nearby mountain to ski. If you are looking for a place to slow down and enjoy time with friends & family this is the place.

Meredith communicated clearly, and her space was super-convenient to my sports team which was in town for a meet at Look Park (.25 miles away!) Couldn't have asked for a better place. We cooked a full breakfast in the huge kitchen each morning.

Carol’s Bloomfield house has become part of our family Christmas tradition and will be for years to come we hope! The house is beautiful and has everything we need. Carol and Sal are amazing hosts! Thank you!!

Sheryl's place is, home away from home. It's clean, cosy, quiet. The perfect place to be, for a well deserved rest.

Our stay was in the cold of winter and there was ample heating in the form of radiators spread about, extra blankets, and a very powerful space heater in the living room. The artwork, furniture and layout gave a comfortable and cozy feeling. I stayed with two friends and we cooked all our meals easily with what was provided in the kitchen as far as pots, pans and utensils. During our stay John was extremely responsive and accommodating over the air bnb messages. The house is older so outlets were oddly placed with only two prongs, most of the lights were hand pull to turn on and off, and the bedroom doors locked with a hook and latch. It all felt very clean and comfortable and we were very happy with our stay.

Great hosts and nice, cozy and spacious accommodation. 10/10 would recommend!

We had an amazing stay! The Airbnb is in a great location, right on Warren Street and within walking distance to everything. The decoration was charming and quaint, giving the space a cozy and unique feel. John, the host, was incredible—he was always on top of things and provided excellent recommendations that were all on target. Highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting the area!

Jayne’s place was great - nice house in a quiet neighborhood but very close to everything. Spacious, clean, well-equipped. The beds were comfortable. The heat worked well, as did the shower - really great in the middle of winter. We felt right at home, and were only sorry that we only got to stay for one night. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sarah’s space! The space was very clean, street parking was easy to manage and we were just a quick drive over to Beacon as well. We enjoyed walking by the water in Newburgh and checking out a few local spots. Appreciate Sarah sharing her space!

Monica’s place was great for me and my family after a day of skiing. There are great restaurants near by and some waterfalls The place was clean and spacious. I’ll definitely give Monica’s place a try if you are going to be in the area.

Lilly is a wonderful host! The apartment was a great place for us, had everything we needed, and the best was very comfortable. During our visit a huge snow storm hit and Lilly offered us an extra night free of charge, which was incredibly kind! Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Cozy home base for a quick trip to ski at Windham! Perfect for two adults and a dog. Loved sitting on the balcony as the sun set and we enjoyed the fireplace. Super close to the Windham Path, great restaurants nearby.

Great stay and perfection location just off the base of Mount Snow with MOOver access. Mike was very responsive and accommodating for our last minute booking. Had trouble getting in with the code but he answered and helped us get in immediately. 10/10 host

Unit is accurately described in listing and is well equipped if staying in for some of your meals. Great ski in, ski out location to Sundance lift. Can easily recommend!

Stayed over Presidents’ Day weekend with a total of 4 adult guests. Condo is perfect with everything you need. Extremely close to the Mount Snow ski resort and access to Moover Van. Rafael was available to us during our stay and was extremely helpful particularly when the weather got worse with a big storm. Would definitely recommend the condo but also to rent from Rafael and Janice. We ate at Snow Republic Brewery, Maple leaf Tavern, Saw Mill Bar and Table and Valley View Saloon. We highly recommend them all but note that Valley View Saloon has large portions.

Andrew’s description and check in instructions were extremely detailed. Host was very easy to contact/communicate with and very accommodating. Clear instructions for check in/out, how to get to unit and how to ski in ski out. Unit description and photos are accurate. I would consider staying here in the future again.

Muna is an awesome host. She is super responsive and always gives us good advise. We had a long stay and the place is very warm, clean, and very comfortable. Excellent location with everything you need, we had a wonderful stay and family vacation at her place. Thank you once again Muna, we look forward to come back again!

Caitlyn was communicative, and the condo was perfect for our family of 4. It was convenient for skiing and going into the village. The condo was comfortable and true to the description and photos. We would definitely stay again!

This was a great spot to stay especially if you plan on skiing Hunter Mountain. Super short walk to the trail. Very quiet area and some great resturants and breweries. We will be back!
