Yurt holiday rentals in The Great Lakes

This Yurt was such a cozy stay for my partner and I this Valentine’s Day weekend!! Very peaceful & such a beautiful location. We enjoyed watching the snowfall, listening to the birds/ animals outside, and heating up food & tea on top of the wood burning stove. We stayed warm the entire time!! The amenities were all there; we had everything we needed!! We stayed in and played card games/ relaxed.. and we also explored the local nearby area in downtown Cambridge as well as Madison which was only a 30 min drive! Overall, a great weekend and the hosts were very friendly and responsive. I would 100% do this again and I recommend this Yurt to anyone looking for a cozy getaway :)

This is a great camp ground with wonderful nature trails and accessible necessities like kitchen, toilets and shower if you need them. But also a place to rough it if you want to. I was a first time camper learning the ropes with a friend and I felt like it was just a great place to get started. Thanks joe!

A great place to decompress and disconnect. This my first ever time of learning and experiencing a yurt. It was a real treat, the tranquility of the outdoors reminded me of the little yet important things in life. Ashley was a very kind and accommodating host. Everything was clear and available to discussion.

My husband and I were scrambling to find a place to stay for some last minute plans in the area and I am so glad I happened to come across Paula and John's place. If you are thinking of booking. just go ahead and do it. The property is really amazing and full of things to do. The yurt is so cool! Comfy bed and all the needed amenities. The (detached) bathroom even has real plumbing! Paula and John are both extremely friendly and are there on the property to help with whatever you may need. We had a great stay and really enjoyed kayaking on the canal in the mornings. We can't wait to come back!

The view and location are amazing. We enjoyed our stay very much. The only issue we had was keeping the yurt warm overnight. The outside temps were below 0 at night with a wind chill advisory. The woodshed was well stocked with very nice firewood.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay in the yome - loved looking at the stars at night and meeting the animals in the morning! Breakfast was incredible, thanks for opening your farm to us!

This is a really beautiful spot and a great atmosphere to kick back, slow down and relax. The yurt and kitchen both have a cozy, artsy feel that is very welcoming. The deck behind the yurt is a wonderful spot to have a morning coffee and watch the birds over the water. If your stay is in the summer, definitely take a dip in the river by the falls. Karen and Kevin were great hosts and we enjoyed chatting with them. We explored the rail trails nearby on our bikes, and there's lots of great hiking in the area too.

Jill was an amazing host! She communicated perfectly about everything from the property to the local attractions, restaurants and attractions! My husband was the guest, away to fish and enjoy the water! He said the surrounding and atmosphere were perfect for anyone wanting to be submersed in nature! He will most definitely be back!

Such a beautiful spot! Become one with nature and sleep under the stars. Heather was fantastic and thought of every detail that you would need throughout your stay! Even provided us with a couple farm fresh eggs from her free range chickens! Loved the peace and tranquility!! Thank you again!

This place is amazing! So cozy and the perfect place for a little romantic getaway. My husband and I came for our anniversary and it was perfect! It is tucked away enough so that you felt like you had the whole farm to yourself, but you are close enough to Guy and his animal friends for connivence. The place is charming and cozy. The compost toilet isn’t as scary as it looks. Beware of the skinny spiral staircase but really they were no issue. Guys place is clean and has just about everything you might need. With that being said Guy is one of the best hosts I’ve had for air bnb. He is responsive, and clearly this home is a labor of love. He treats his guests like close friends and welcomes you personally. He gave great recommendations for nearby hikes and even delivered a pizza pan when we needed one! He and his sweet dog have an amazing place. Will absolutely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at Elisa’s place. She was very communicative and able to be flexible with check-in as we were out cross country skiing. She had the yurt all warmed up for us before we arrived. The place was very clean and the driveway up to the yurt was plowed. The only difficulty is the driveway right in front of the Natural Yurt wasn’t wide at all (even with our Sedan) so we had to step into deep snow getting out. We additionally got the car stuck backing out because the driveway was narrow and immediately dipped into deep snow. The outhouse was very close and kept very clean with wood chips to help keep the smell under control. The toilet seat even warmed up quick as it had a good cover. A great touch in the yurt was a kettle to boil water over the stove and some tea bags set out! While at the yurt Elisa continued to be communicative and was happy for guests to explore her property. We met one of her very sweet dogs (I described her as a gentle giant).

Jennifer was a great host ! Everything was perfect and exactly what was listed on her Arbnb site . We enjoyed ourselves played games and really liked the record player . The yurt was set up perfectly and very organized and clean . We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a unique experience. Thx again Jennifer !!

We always look forward to and enjoy our time at the Blue Cabin! It’s just perfect for our winter getaway. So clean, peaceful, has everything we need, and is on beautiful property. Laurie and David are perfect hosts! We hope to return again next February for our 4th annual visit!!

It was a quaint, peaceful, and beautiful get away for the weekend. During the winter it does get pretty cold even with the provided heater but just bringing some extra layers still makes it worth it. Dennis and Kathy were very responsive and Dennis helped us get our car out of the drive way when it snowed along with getting us more water quickly. Coqui, their dog, was the cutest and friendly. Places in town were closed due to weather but we went to Walmart for food and it turned out fine. We also ate at this great Mongolian grill restaurant in Wisconsin Dells and went to a place called Aquavia lumina where they had an outside light show that you walk and it was amazing definitely recommend that. Also did the magiquest which was surprisingly very fun and I think next time I would need a whole day for that. The next night we saw so many stars it was beautiful and with the outside string lights my boyfriend, now fiancee, proposed! Thank you Dennis and Kathy!

The eagle yurt was exactly as it looked. It is a great place to have family together in a rustic yet comfortable environment. Each night and every morning we enjoyed a relaxing fire by sunset and sunrise. Wildlife was abundant with beavers by day and the sound of coyotes and owls at night. Other guests were kind, helpful, and generous, while the property manager Jay was approachable, informative, and gave great tips and pointers on local attractions. It is rustic, with pit bathrooms away from the yurt. We didn’t mind this at all but others might. We can’t wait to stay again.

We had such a lovely time here. The yurt was so cozy and we felt right at home. We even got ~ foot of snow while staying there which made for beautiful scenery while we stayed warm in the yurt.

What can I say about this place except when you walk into the yurt I felt peacefully tranquil! It is amazingly decorated and beautiful paint work everywhere 🤩 The path was easy to get to the yurt, everything you need is there. Fast response and helpful throughout the stay. I appreciate this experience and I will for sure be back. 10/10 Beyond what you will ever expect 😇 Thank you to this family 🙏🏻🛖💘

Three of us came up north for a canoeing trip during fall break. This place was only 30 minutes from the Chippewa Landing Livery. It was exactly how Seth described it and even more! The yurt was tucked on the edge of the woods, facing a wide open field and another woods across the field. I feel like we saw the best fall colors during our stay here. When the sun rose in the early morning, a thin layer of fog hovered over the field. It’s so beautiful and peaceful! I also loved the sunrise and walking around on the farm. I adored the yurt! it’s very cozy and thoughtfully decorated! May daughter also loved roasting S’mores over the bonfire. It’s a shame that I didn’t find this farm a month ago. But we’ll likely be back next year!

We had a wonderful time. Felt like we were right at home. Close to everything we were looking for. Loved waking up to seeing the water right out the window or the blue skies out the dome. Would recommend to anyone.

It was a last minute decision to get away with some friends. So glad we did. We had an absolutely amazing time. Great to get away, play in the snow and enjoy the simple beauty surrounding us. The property was great! The staff were amazing, kind, friendly and always willing to help. The accommodations were amazing and exceeded our expectations 🙂! Thank you for the amazing adventure 💜 Absolutely will be returning…. Looking forward to experiencing all of mother natures seasons, while at this beautiful property!! Had a great time staying in the yurt. Great location and a short commute to the ferry’s for Mackinac Island. Would definitely stay here again!
