Beachfront holiday rentals in Thirroul Beach

Absolutely wonderful. So many little extras made my daughter and myself and our dog feel very welcome. Our dog was unwell and the info folder even gave contact details for local Vets. Location was so handy to everything we needed and yes we’d love to stay again.

5/5 Stars! We had an amazing stay at Rob's place! The location was perfect - close to the beach, shops, and everything we needed. The unit had everything we needed, with a kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom that were all comfortable, clean, and neat. We literally just had to pack our clothes and we were set! Plus, there was even a desk for working, which was perfect for us. My partner worked from the bedroom, while I took over the kitchen area - it was great to have separate spaces to focus. But what really made our stay special was Rob's mom - she was wonderful and welcoming, even to our furry friend Tama! She let him roam around her backyard, and he had the best time following her everywhere. And despite being next to her residence, we still had plenty of privacy, which was much appreciated. Of all our Airbnb stays, this really was one of our all time favourites. The most beautiful property, relaxing and comfortable furnishings, and beds and lovely showers. We just felt so relaxed and happy in Vicky’s house. We particularly loved sitting on the huge balcony in the comfortable chairs while watching the ocean. The house was so well appointed and to top it off, a little fun to play some pool together. If that is not enough to convince anyone to stay, the proximity to the beach should do it. A quick walk across the road and you are there. Such a great place we are already looking at dates to go back.

A wonderful stay! Super homey and spotlessly clean, plus just a few minutes walk to a really nice beach!! A great location away from the city bustle of Sydney, but close enough to visit to see the attractions and shop. Linda was very accommodating and communicative. We had a small issue with the fridge (not to the fault of the host) and her and her husband were very attentive, responsive and willing to remedy the situation. Very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice, peaceful beach getaway with some tourist visits to Sydney sprinkled in!

We absolutely loved our stay! The perfect place for our family with young kids and a dog. The location is amazing - literally had to walk across the road to go swimming. Close to shops and other activities and the walking/riding path is great. The house has everything we needed and was super spacious and comfy. Metinee is lovely and very helpful. Could not have asked for a better summer holiday 😁

Richard’s home is beautifully located. Spectacular view. All of Cronulla is accessible and the beach is close by. Richard tried hard in difficult circumstances when the upstairs neighbor upstairs flooded his bathroom causing water to stream into our main bathroom. The cockatoos were particularly friendly and a bit intrusive. This was charming or annoying according to one’s tastes.

Breathtaking location. Lovely interiors and renovation. Perfect for our ladies weekend. Everything was as advertised and very clean and well maintained. Real flax Linen on the beds was heavenly. Well equipped kitchen with plenty of serving ware, french press and espresso machine. A little gift bag of local goodies was a lovely touch. For meal planning keep in mind there is a small single oven and 4 burner induction top which can be relevant when cooking for large groups. Pool not heated so keep that in mind for kids.

What a beautiful house! Felt like 'home' from the moment we pulled into the driveway! Lovely modern, clean, quiet, and spacious home! Very short walk to the beach and local cafes! Plenty of parking (both garage/driveway as well as street parking). Nice and peaceful - perfect for a getaway!

Lea’s place is a spectacular spot on the coast, with stunning views over the ocean. There are plenty of spots to sit and enjoy the scenery - whether at the outdoor table, in a lounger by the pool or from the dining table inside. The place is spotless, has everything you could want and need for a luxurious break & the bed is super comfortable! We will definitely come back!

We stayed here for 5 weeks and absolutely loved it! The place was huge, and fully equipped for a long term stay. Marea and Kyra were so attentive and responsive, an added bonus was them staying above us in another unit at times so as a group of girls we felt really safe. Perfect location just steps from the beach. Would love to come back xx

Panarea was an excellent host. She was an extremely accomodating, always friendly and always replied within minutes. 10/10 as a host, we loved our stay.

Our stay at Tim’s Airbnb was nothing short of exceptional. The home’s location is truly special, with direct waterfront access that made every day feel like a dream. The facilities were spotless and well-kept, adding to the overall comfort. My mother-in-law, visiting from my home country, was completely enchanted—she adored the swimming, beaches, and stunning scenery. At 80 years old, she declared it one of the best trips of her life, and I’m so grateful to Tim for making that possible with such a wonderful place to stay. Despite no air conditioning, the natural breeze from the waterfront kept things surprisingly pleasant, even during Australia’s hot summer. I’d wholeheartedly recommend this home to anyone seeking a unique and memorable experience. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a beautiful stay! The home itself is absolutely stunning! Larry and Lyn were also so lovely, good with communicating and super accommodating. When we come back to the Illawarra we will be trying to get this same accommodation. Absolutely beautiful.

fantastic house, very spacious and have a lot of amenities.

My kids and I had a fabulous weekend at Jenny’s place. Her place is clean and has all the amenities you need. It’s a quiet and private unit block that was made extra special with the sound of the waves. It was so central to everything that we didn’t need the car at all. Lots in the local blocks to keep the kids busy and right across from the beach so could go as we wanted. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful house right on the water. Walking distance to the nearest pub, but by 8.30pm it was empty so the town is very very quiet. The kitchen had all the equipment you would need for cooking a meal. There are tea and coffee making facilities, but for 9 of us staying 2 nights there weren’t enough coffee pods for everyone to have a coffee each morning. However instant coffee is also available. The host was lovely, and when we had a power cut due to a storm she came very quickly and provided us with lamps and equipment so we had some lights, after being very responsive on text message first. She was a delight to deal with before the stay, and the house was as described and pictured.

If i am going back to jibbon beach again i will be staying here again. The view from the house was good and an easy walk to the beach. The place was in good condition and the detailed instructions from peter was also a great help. Thanks a lot guys.
