Beachfront holiday rentals in Thompson Beach

Our stay was intended as part holiday and part exploring the surrounding location as a place to live on a permanent basis. The location was excellent near to all the amenities we are seeking and close to the beach. The property had all we required and great coffee! Would highly recommend this accommodation and the host (Queenly) was always responsive.

The house was absolutely beautiful, perfect for larger groups and families with plenty of comfortable beds. The ocean views from the house were stunning, and the short walk to the beach made the location even more incredible. A fantastic place to stay!

We absolutely love staying at Maxine’s beautiful home! It’s the perfect fit for our large family, with plenty of space for everyone. The location is ideal—right across from the beach, within walking distance to the jetty and the general store. The views from the balcony are simply stunning, and we especially enjoy the upstairs living areas where we can take in the views at any time. We can’t recommend Maxine and her home enough! It’s always a wonderful experience.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The property offers a beautiful view and is equipped of handy cooking appliances you could need, making it perfect for a family stay. Lucy even left out some treats and a fridge with extras, which was a nice touch! The central yet more quiet location in comparison to say Glenelg - was ideal, with everything we needed within walking distance—Grange Jetty, cafes, pub, and a bakery were all close by and essentially at your door step. Henley Beach was just a leisurely 30-minute walk away, which we loved. The house has a garage that fits a small car, however there’s ample of parking out front - if you time it outside of peak hours. Overall, it was a wonderful, convenient, and peaceful spot to base ourselves to explore what Adelaide has to offer. We really enjoyed having a quiet dinner or lunch on the patio over looking the water or relaxing on the Egg Chair having a wine or coffee. Highly recommend and just the break we needed!Thank you Lucy!

Moana Beach is literally your front yard. Great host. Beautiful & spotless property. Unbelievable sunsets.

Blackpoint is a beautiful spot and Russell's place is the perfect place to stay. Fabulous beach shack to be able to enjoy the surrounds. Everything is thought of with the added touch of board games for the kids and kayaks for the big kids. We recommend staying at Russell's and look forward to staying again in the future.

Cute stay, loved it. Photos don’t do it justice. Place feels bigger than the photos look. Sun room was awesome and the best spot to sun bake on windy days. The beach was stunning for long walks with the dog on an off lease beach. Our poodle could sit in the sunroom and watch us when we went for quick dip. We will definitely book this stay again.

We had the best stay at Jo’s house. The house was perfect and very well stocked with everything you could ever need for a holiday. Jo and Nick were quick at coming back to me and very helpful with any questions we had. The pool and relaxing area were amazing and with a one minute walk to the beach what else could you need! We will be back 😊

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was great and what a fabulous location. Close enough to Jetty Rd to feel like you are in the middle of it but far enough away to not have the hustle and bustle or noise at the apartment. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Adelaide.

An absolutely amazing stay – highly recommend! The view is amazing, and the surroundings are fabulous, with the beach right out front(view from balcony amazing too). It's within walking distance to plenty of great restaurants, pubs, and cafes, such a perfect location. The place itself was spacious and beautifully maintained. We spent a wonderful four weeks at Kim's house. The house is spacious and comfortable in a peaceful neighbourhood. The pool, spa and games room were great as well as the beach across the road. Kim was very friendly, helpful and quick to respond.

We had the most amazing stay, we could have easily stayed a few more days . Will stay longer next year for Birthday 7. Might make a yearly thing. We positively love your apartment. So very comfortable cozy. super comfortable beds. We will definitely make your place our next go to when we need a break to get away. Absolutely amazing apartment. Great location, close to the beach and many cafes and restaurants. The apartment is very comfortable and clean with great amenities. Helen is a great host who goes the extra mile and who is easy to communicate with. Highly recommend and I look forward to returning!

Gillian’s place was all about the beach! I wanted more time there, in the sun rom and on the beach! I had to work one day and to do so in the sunroom overlooking the water was a joy.

We stayed in this beautiful home for a girls weekend away for my birthday and it was absolutely perfect! The house was incredible and we all loved decor and the art pieces in the house. It was so homely and such a beautiful place to stay. It had absolutely everything we needed and we couldn’t think of anything bad to say. Only a short taxi ride to wallaroo and the simms cove walking track is just a stones throw so beautiful for walking. Will definitely be returning one day!

We had a fabulous family holiday at this great location. The house was modern, had great amenities, was roomy and the mattresses were great. The deck has a fantastic view and it’s just 30 meters to the beach. The location is also just 3km from Edithburgh if you need anything or if you want to go fishing off the jetty. There were 2 fridges which was great as we weren’t sure from the listing. Highly recommend for families or family groups or even adult groups as we loved the 5 rooms of queen or king size beds.

Wonderful. Stylish, clean but comfortable and very well equipped. That location is everything we had hoped it would be and more - Wow! Wouldn’t hesitate to go back and recommend to others.

There is nothing not to love about Hayden's unit. Apartment is right in front of the sea with amazing sun/moon setting view! The house is comfortable, clean and everything works. Totally enjoyed my stay at Hayden's Air bnb. Thanks Hayden for all the recommendations at Mclaren Vale. Will definitely stay there again.

Stayed for the weekend as a group of five. There was plenty of space for everyone and we were located perfectly between Port Hughes and Moonta, in a quiet estate consisting of modern homes. Melissa and Bernie were great friendly hosts. Would definitely stay again if we're visiting the area.
