Family-friendly holiday rentals in Thousand Oaks

This place was the perfect spot for our group attending a wedding in Malibu. The Airbnb was well provisioned with anything you could need and comfy beds. Everything was super clean!

We had a great stay for our family trip to Los Angeles. Very close to Santa Monica/Venice for lots of activities. The pool and hot tub were nice although we didn’t get to utilize them very much. It was nice to have a parking spot within the property. The only slight feedback that we have is the price being very expensive, but we had a great time. Also, very responsive hosts willing to work with you around guests and visitors although we ended up not having any extra people over. We would definitely stay here again.

The place was very clean and comfortable. The beds and pillows were so cozy, and we loved the hot tub. The location was close to everything we needed. Thank you!

Nestled right next to his breathtaking castle, this home is a true masterpiece—combining elegance, comfort, and a sense of grandeur that is simply unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and generosity, a reflection of James himself—an incredible soul whose kindness and hospitality made our experience even more special. Every detail in the home is thoughtfully curated, from the exquisite decor to the impeccable cleanliness and comfort. The ambiance is both luxurious and inviting, offering the perfect blend of history and modern convenience. Waking up to the stunning surroundings felt like stepping into a fairytale, and every moment spent here was an absolute delight. James’ home is more than just a place to stay—it’s an experience, a retreat, and a privilege. We are already looking forward to returning and cannot recommend it highly enough! Beds are super comfortable.

Barry and Van were great hosts, and very accommodating to our family and pups. We felt right at home, and would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at Hallgrim’s place. It was clean and as pictured in the reviews. The only problem we had was parking. It’s only street parking across from the house and the other houses parked multiple cars in our only spot to park. There is also only one tv in the house which is located in the spare bedroom. Other than that, it was an enjoyable experience. There’s even a squirrel that is came up to the windows every morning to say hi. She must be fed, because she is not afraid of humans. We named her “baby”.

We loved Ari’s soulful home in Silverlake. It was peaceful and secluded, with a great view and outdoor space, while at the same time in walking distance to the reservoir, shops and restaurants. The interior was lovely and we especially appreciated all of the beautiful art. Ari was responsive and provided clear instructions. We had a great stay and would love to return sometime.

When they created Airbnb this is the place that had in mind. The studio was large, bright, clean and super comfortable with everything we needed, including and our jacuzzi and outdoor shower. It’s set in a really nice neighborhood with plenty of street parking and great access to all the fun of the west side. Cynthia is a great!

Hollie was amazing and we had a wonderful stay. Big thanks for the early check in and quick and thoughtful communication. Location was perfect and it felt very safe.

My husband likes to say..."wow, that's why Michael is a 'super host'"! This home is what every air bnb consumer hopes for. It actually exceeds your expectation. He has thought of everything and more. Every detail is covered, everything you need is there. The home is immaculate and so are all the appointments, home appliances and gardens. There is a wonderful patio and barbeque too. I remember saying 'pride in ownership'. We had a different circumstance coming here in that we were displaced by the California Wild Fires. We found the comfort of our home here and the comfort of our hosts, who care. We had hardly anything when we got there and Michael and his wonder partner provided for, and had already thought of everything. We were fortunate this home was available when we needed it. As far as travel, if you are a tourist, I personally needed to get around, to our former home, and to work. The freeway is close by as are many wonderful restaurants. Enjoy!

Excellent place, great for a big group. It's close to many LA attractions and there are many cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Norvell was a great host, quick to respond. We highly recommend!

We had a great time at Deborah's. She was very responsive if we had any questions. The place was immaculate when we arrived. We were a short drive to the ocean and universal studios, which were our main attractions visiting the area. Overall great experience!

Eva’s airbnb was wonderful to stay at, she was a gracious, good communicative host, the space was clean, easy to find, well maintained, and quiet for the most part.

We enjoyed our stay. The space was very clean and comfortable. The backyard is beautiful! The white noise machines were a must use. There was also clear communication between us and the hosts. Really appreciated our stay.

Johnny's home is a beautiful retreat in a quiet residential neighborhood. The backyard with pool and hottub is a perfect place to gather with friends and family at the end of the day. Johnny is a wonderful communicator he was always available for us, he got back to us very quickly. I would highly recommend this home. We would stay here again.

The house was nice and good size for our group. The location was pretty good for what we had planned. We landed on this place specifically because of the pool and hot tub. We wish we had been told the specifics of using them beforehand because we arrived to an ice cold pool & jacuzzi. But after Gevorg finally responded we were told there is a fee to heat everyday, they cant be heated at sametime, and pool takes 8-10 hrs to heat. But once the confusion was cleared up, Gevorg was quick to respond and the pool/jacuzzi was an amazing addition to our trip!!! Gevorg was very kind and welcoming and quick to fix the situation.

Beautiful home, with tons of space and very functional whether you’re a group of adults or have small children. I was able to get in my morning walks. Coffee and bagel shops are within walking distance. Loved our stay! We will be back!

When in LA, choose the Cho Family’s place to stay!

The house and yard are beautiful. The kids loved playing in the pool even though it was chilly. It was a wonderful experience and would love to stay there again!!!
