Great place to stay! The neighbourhood felt very safe and was super quiet, it was easy to find and close to the amenities downtown. Amazing host, responded very quickly and was flexible with any changes that had to be made to the reservation. Super cute and cosy space, with lots of room and a light.

We had a fantastic stay. Everything was exactly as described, quiet neighborhood, not too far from shopping centers and other places. We had a little accident with the stove the first night and the hosts were so quick to respond and ask if we were ok before even asking about the house itself. It made us feel really good and they were great with suggestions too. We would definitely stay here again! Beautiful home and amazing hosts.

Pleasant stay in a quiet, safe neighbourhood in Thunder Bay while in town on business. Property was as shown in pictures, bed was comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. Bobbie was proactive in reaching out and I thoroughly enjoyed my time in Thunder Bay.

We loved our stay. All was exactly as described. Lovely location and the hot tub was a big bonus. Had all the basic necessities. Many AirBNBs have really crappy furniture that photographs well. I was really happy that the couch and bed were both super comfortable. We will be happy to come back in the future.

The level of cozyness at Suzy’s place falls short of words. We were treated like family and felt right at home the moment we arrived. We walked into a bottle of wine and lots of goodies. The space was cozy. Clean. Spacious. Quiet. We stayed for about a month and half and I wish we booked sooner! Maxie and Nexus (the dogs) were also great hosts. Loved being greeted by them. Super well trained and friendly. The best. Our dog, Rambo also loved it. He especially enjoyed the fireplace. I’d 100000% recommend Suzy’s place. Honestly one of the best people I met. We had paint night and it’s the best souvenir from TBay! Lotsa fun. We’ll forever keep in touch. Super kind, sweet, giving and warm. Always baking yummy goods and leaving them as surprise treats. Even made us dinner one night. She also super accommodating. If you’re in Thunder Bay, I’d say you’d regret not booking this place. Best experience. Thank you for everything. Tony was incredibly responsive and professional

The building is old, but in good condition and clean inside. Parking place is at the back of the house. The apartment is upstairs, and as described, there really is a flight of stairs to access the unit and the bedroom. If you are visiting during the hot summer, be prepared for hot rooms - no A/C, just a floor fan in each room. As mentioned in some previous reviews - very limited outlets, so if you want to charge your phone in the bedroom, you have to unplug the lamp or the fan. Ryan's place was a great choice for me and my family as it allowed us to enjoy walking the boulevard and Marina Park of Thunder Bay. It is also within walking distance to restaurants, grocery store (Freshco) and LCBO. Both hosts (Ryan and Alicia) were friendly and very responsive. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this place!

Thank you Leslie for hosting us. Your place is very cozy clean and different with the loft ceiling. We loved our stay. Thank you for the cheese and crackers it was perfect timing. The coffee was amazing we felt comfortable. We came for the Sleeping Giant trail. After walking for 22km coming back to peace and rest was very appreciated. We loved Thunder Bay. What a great view from sleeping Giant. Highly recommend the stay here and the hike. Also all restaurants and stores are a few minutes away. The local restaurants like nook were great food. Thank you Leslie for your help with local shops. And for hosting our stay we really recommend your place.

Very cute basement apartment. It was clean and spacious. We like the area that it is in - close to restaurants, cafes, and small shops.
