Holiday rentals in Tikehau

Christiane is a genuine and sweet person who we had the pleasure of meeting on our trip to Tahiti. She demonstrates perfect hospitality, respect for space and privacy, but eagerness to make friends, chat, and give tips about the island. Small details like towels, soap, eggs and bread, kayaks, etc provided made being on a remote island so comfortable. Being far from a city and shops can be daunting, but Christiane's place adds the comfort and ease you would usually sacrifice for the tradeoff of a secluded and remote island.

I had the best time in Healanis Bungalow. It’s the perfect spot to relax an do just nothing. The private beach and the surroundings are marvelous. Her parents were so nice, they took care of me and even brought me some snacks several times. The bungalow offers everything you need. There was even free coffee and tea. I highly recommend it. It was the best place during my whole stay in Polynesia.

One thing must be clear that you only have to go for 30 minutes by boat. Which was almost always a nut bowl with us and therefore adventurous. Arrived at the Motu we were accommodated in a bungalow with a sea view. We were very pleased. The bungalow is simple but clean. To cool our drinks, we were able to use the refrigerator in the restaurant. Here you could also have the meals for an extra cost. Simple but quite ok. There is no shop. The Motu has the flair of a Robinson Crusoe Island. A wonderful place to slow down. We felt very comfortable. Stephane and his staff were always very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely amazing place with a beautiful house and a beautiful beach. Absolutely indescribable experience being so alone with 100% privacy. Great recommendation of this place to others if you want peace and privacy. We'd love to come back another time.

Great place to spend a few days in Tikehau. The bungalow is simple but has everything you need, as the description says and they show the pictures. It is on a paradisiacal beach where every day you can see a thousand fish and reef sharks, with beautiful sunsets. Pasoti and Tahia are lovely, they give you a thousand tips, they can organize you tours, they leave you the bikes to fly around the village…super recommended! I would really like to go back there again!

We had a dreamy family stay on this beautiful island. Robert and his employees were very welcoming and helpful. The island is truly idyllic, and we were able to do a lot of activities like Kayak, the Fishing, walks on the reef and being able to admire majestic sunsets. The bungalow offers all the comforts you need, and stunning views of the Tikehau lagoon. Whether as a couple, with friends or family, this is really the perfect place to disconnect and enjoy the beauty of nature. We look forward to returning. We had a fabulously relaxing stay at Teapai’s. Communication prior to arrival was great. We were picked up at the airport and shown around the house. My husband, daughter and I were very comfortable. The majority of our time was spent on the huge front porch enjoying the breeze and spending time with the house dog Chupie. Since restaurants on Tikehau are limited, we cooked dinner several times at the house. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, and each bedroom had a floor fan. Bicycles were available for us to use, and when we had a flat tire, Roger came over quickly to repair it. Our favorite two things about Teapai’s place were the front porch and the small beach located 100m behind the house. The water was beautiful and we enjoyed watching the reef sharks swim by.
