This place is absolutely beautiful. The terrace is perfect when u love nature, sea, sheep and highland cattle. Lots of walk are possible from here. About the castle it’s really a stunning one. Services are at the best with all confort needed … it’s really a jewel and we hope come back here in the future.

One of our most memorable stays. The west wing of Glengorm is extremely well appointed, with lovely rooms, great kitchen, home-like atmosphere and stunning views. The walls to the sea were breathtaking and invigorating. The sheep were so picturesque, the surprise of the standing stones and seaside cliffs made us so thankful that we booked this spot on Mull. The cafe was a treat, with great Scotts breakfast and cakes! The Aga stove was a treat to cook with. All our guests were overjoyed as were we! We will return!

Amazing accommodation in a beautiful area! Hosts couldn’t be better. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic stay, beautiful surroundings and the property way exceeded expectations. Great views, massive gardens and high quality fixtures etc. Ample space for 4 of us and 2 dogs. Stunning beaches within walking distance and lots within short drives or easy public transport distance (we used the train quite a bit to save driving as the station is minutes away). Great base for hill walking/ climbing/ chill beach days or a great stop off on longer trails through Knoydart etc with all the facilities you need but still peaceful surroundings. 100% recommended

A beautiful location. Peaceful. Local restaurant a bit too fancy and probably not for the locals. But we had a nice evening there and the food was very good. The local social club was an experience! The Scots are a friendly bunch with a twinkle in their eye and good humour. We had a lovely stay full of laughter celebrating my 60th birthday with a group of mates. Thank you

Breathtaking location. Gorgeous views out every window. Very peaceful. Stanislaw and Lilian were extremely helpful and quick to respond to all questions. There was a beautiful basket of goodies awaiting us and croissants dropped off from the local bakery. We were treated like treasured guests. We were able to make 2 day trips into the Isle of Skye. This location is so close to Malaig ferry. We were able to get onto the 11 am ferry on stand by. We were there at the end of Sept and passed peak season. We ate lunch at excellent restaurant, The Cabin, Malaig. Outstanding seafood and service! We had a bit of an adventure. On our last day on Skye our rental car was starting to run low on fuel. We opted to skip stop at petrol station to catch ferry. There is a petrol station in Malaig very close to the ferry drop off, unattended, but open 24 hrs for credit pay at pump. All pumps were out of service. No other gas available for 40 mi. VERY NICE person at Arisaig hotel gave us gallon of gas!!!

Words fall short to describe the aura of this place. We had great expectations when we were visiting this place and it turned out to be even better than all our thoughts combined. Its around 45 mins drive once you reach the island and then you are in a world of your own. Some how you get teleported to few centuries back and get to experience what could have been lifestyle then. It used to be and now as well is used as an hunting estate. The deers will cross your paths everywhere on this estate. The lush green gardens extending to horizon where they meet the blue see with be the view for your entire stay. There is something for everyone. Kids had ample of play items and friendly pets. There are million books and certainly one that will ignite your interest. Kitchen is very well equipped. The bedrooms are super spacious and good quality linen. Even after this you want to find something to engage, Lussa gin distillery is just 30 seconds walk. Overall an experience to cherish!

Claire was really responsive. She was so lovely at leaving some things for our kids to play with and a plastic table for them to sit at.

Alison prepared the perfect home from home for our family. Such a beautiful house in a scenic and peaceful location. Everything was perfect!

It’s possibly all been said before but Mark’s place is awesome. The view is simply beautiful and we were lucky to have wall to wall sunshine with no clouds for all of our stay. We enjoyed the walk along the ridge behind the house and also the climb up the Sgurr which both had magnificent views. We hired electric bikes which were great to get around on both to visit the cafe and to take us to the start of walks. Mark was great in communicating in advance of our visit and answered questions and provided useful information. We ate at Lageorna twice and Sue cooks delicious home made meals - she’s also very interesting to chat to. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property for a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings.
