Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Todmorden

This is a great cottage. Easily accessible from major roads, yet tucked away in a quite, peaceful location with minimal passing traffic and views over farms and moorland. . The cottage is beautifully presented, clean and comfortable, with all facilities as listed. We loved the wood burning stove. Gary and Julia were friendly, accommodating hosts. Highly recommended. One word of warning, the cottage is close to the top of a very steep lane; not really walking distance to any amenities unless you are quite a robust specimen!

We were all very impressed by the house and facilities. My grandson loved the massive tv! I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone. It was perfect for us. It felt luxurious but also felt homely.

This was a great find. Very comfortable, in an excellent location. Take note of other reviews that talk about how vertical everything is, inside and out. It really is! But it's fun to climb down and back up from town. We really appreciated the blackout blinds on the top floor. Lucy was a great host and answered a couple of questions instantly. Lots to do in the area so we hope to come back.

A beautiful cosy cottage perfect for a few days away. Beautifully decorated with a lovely little garden. Easily walkable into town , close to a park and a nice pub/ beer garden and yummy fish and chip shop. Able to explore local area easily.

We had an amazing stay, Claire's had everything we could possibly need & more! Location was great, a 1 minute walk to the local pub which was really friendly & great for quiz night on a Wednesday! A 20 minute walk into Holmfirth for a choice of lovely coffee shops & places to eat! Plenty of walks & bike rides straight out of the house! Visiting friends nearby so the place was ideal. Very friendly host that had everything you’d need for staying in Oswaldtwistle.

Lovely spacious ground floor apartment in a gated Georgian Building full of character. I stayed with a female friend and we felt safe and secure at all times and the bonus of parking for two cars is a rare find in Clitheroe. The welcome goods on arrival plus milk in the fridge were a nice touch too. I am familiar with Clitheroe as I shop there but have never stayed overnight but would do again definitely as there are lots of good places to eat and drink such as Holmes Mill, The Emporium and Wills Restaurant to name but a few. Also some nice independent shops too. My friend is from Scotland and she cant wait to return. There are also several excellent restaurants a short drive from Clitheroe too. The Ribble Valley offers lots to explore and some great scenery. Well worth a visit is the Melt Candle company in Waddington which is a ten minutes drive away. Tina is a great host and happy to help with anything and keeps in touch with you. I would definitely recommend you stay here.

Stayed before and as before fantastic little place, went over for a china crisis gig at pub next door perfect location and perfect pub/gig venue, lovely host had the pleasure of meeting Julie and Peter fab couple will definitely be back so as.

The apartment was lovely, clean, well kept and just as described. Sadiya was also amazing, friendly, welcoming and always quick to respond if we needed anything. She really made the stay feel easy and stress free. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

I’ve stayed at this property several times now as I needed to be back near my childhood home. Any issues are always sorted very promptly and it has been literally a home from home for me. Thank you so much. I’ve loved each time I’ve stayed at the Old Red King.

We stayed for 3 nights (2 adults and a child) over the Easter holidays and it was perfect for us. Very clean and cosy. When the weather was nice we even enjoyed sitting outside, and although the outside area is on the road it still felt private. When it got cooler we enjoyed the coziness of the living area and watched Netflix movies on the pull out sofa bed (which was so easy to pull out and in). The parking was very easy, no other cars in the car park and even though it was described as a short walk across the road it is literally opposite so easy enough to unpack from there. Easy short walk onto Haworth Main Street (through Central Park which is lovely) and Ruth recommended lots of lovely places to eat and drink in her welcome pack. Overall would recommend, we had a lovely stay.
