Holiday rentals with lake access in Tokyo Bay

This was a cute little home to stay in. The host has taken steps to deal with the typical Japanese cold nights to ensure you can be warm and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with the basic supplies and an induction cooktop. The in-suite laundry was also a bonus. My only complaint is the apparently due to Airbnb regulations in Japan, the home needs an exit sign on each floor and a lighted staircase. The means there's a large green exit sign right in the upstairs bedroom so the whole room has a green glow. And the light for the staircase is right outside the bedroom door, which has significant gaps all the way around it so some of the light leaks in, mostly onto the first bed. I just put a jacket over the exit sign to, and the staircase light didn't bother us that much. Just a warning that if you prefer a dark bedroom at night to bring an eye-mask to sleep with. Otherwise the house was comfortable and was a nice place to stay for a few days.

Thank you for your very warm response! The inside was very spacious, there was a nostalgic atmosphere somewhere, and it was very quiet, so I had a relaxing time. Access to Mother Ranch is also good, and I'd love to stay again if I get the chance.

Host was always responsive and had timely communication. Place was tidy and had cute nook area for the kids. Also had plates/cups/ silverware for the kids. Lots of space and very clean. Nice location one stop away from shibuya.

Our stay was enjoyable. The house is very nice, in a traditional atmosphere. Host was very responsive throughout the entire stay. The house is well equipped, we did not miss anything.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The space is simple but perfect for one person. Very nice neighbourhood with a decent sized supermarket directly opposite the apartment and a very large one just a 5 min walk away. Two train stations within 2-10 mins walking distance. Keep in mind it takes around an hour to reach most places in central Tokyo, but it's quite easy. The kitchenette is small but had the required items to cook some simple meals. I'm a remote worker - wifi was good, but lack of proper desk was a little challenging, just a coffee table with floor seat which is not very comfortable for long periods. but not an issue if you will be out most of the time. the bed just had a futon mattress but I stacked the second mattress from the pull out bed underneath to make it a little softer. host was very responsive and communicative, he even waited up until after midnight to check me in as I made my way from the airport which is much appreciated. overall a comfortable and good value stay!

Good spot

A very nice living experience

She was a friendly host when I checked out, and I felt a warm person.I had a small child with me, but I was very grateful for the acceptance without a bad face. As a place to stay, I felt a mysterious security as if I had returned to my parents' home.The building is reasonably old, but the facilities were carefully maintained and I had a comfortable stay.

This is easily one of my most favorite neighborhoods in the area and the accommodations were amazing! The home was clean and beautiful! Fantastic blend of traditional and modern. Great area that puts you within walking distance of Asakusa, while being on the quiet side of the Sumida River. Top notch all the way around!

Maple's place felt like home. It's very spacious, clean, and had everything we needed and more. Walking distance to good restaurants, near the train station and convenient stores. We loved the place & location. If ever we visit again, I would definitely book with Maple.
