Holiday rentals with a kayak in Toledo District

Beautiful home, the amenities were great! My husband and I loved the outdoor shower on the third floor! The pool was clean and and temperature was perfect! The housekeeping service was a nice touch to really feeling like you are on vacation! We had three days of chef service, we love the breakfast but twice had to ask her to prepare lunch and leave it because we were out sightseeing and felt rush to get back. The first day at lunch she told us not to be late for dinner (6pm) as she had to ride an hour to get home. This was understandable but again we had to rush or ask her twice at dinner to leave which meant we had to clean up. The dishwasher was leaking, we had to put a towel down to catch the water as housekeeping and chef allowed it to settle on the floor. Otherwise, our family enjoyed the home and would visit again!

3rd stay at this beautiful place and catching up with property caretakers, Jose and Sylvia, I'd say Azura Beach Houses has now become a 2nd home. Co-host Morgan is absolutely wonderful to work and communicate with ensuring smooth booking process and accommodating requests. I like to have meals at a few local restaurants where it's easy to meet new people while they're visiting Placencia and connecting again with local residents. Azura Beach continues to be an inviting and peaceful slice of Belize heaven and I never regret finding this Gem. Thank you again, Ed, Flo, and Morgan - rest assured I will be back!

We had a great time with the family! Having Elaine join us on the island was a huge plus. She came as a chef and was great with the kids and just being around to help out on the island. This was really an awesome experience that our family will forever remember.

What a magical experience. We picked this specific villa as it’s right on the front of the full panoramic view of the water. The view and setting was just amazing. Inside is upscale, open and modern. Outside scenery is beautiful and peaceful. Johan , who manages the property, is so professional and prompt with references to tours, taxi , chef and anything needed. The private plunge pool was so fun to hangout. We had a perfect getaway. Can’t wait to be back .

Bonnie is a wonderful host and very helpful with recommendations. The home is even more beautiful than the pictures. The space is well laid out and private. We would definitely stay there again!

We enjoyed our stay very much. It is a cozy space but contains all of the necessities for a relaxed visit. The property is located along a scenic canal and we spent a lot of time watching boats and marine life from the dock or from the spacious balcony. Everything in Placencia village is accessible by a short walk, so no transportation rental is necessary unless you want to explore outside the village. Our only suggestion might be an upgrade to the hot water system -- a larger storage tank or 'on demand' system would allow for more than a very brief shower. The property management company was very responsive to all of our questions, and check-in and check-out were easy.

This was our first trip to Belize. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed fishing from the pier, swimming in the pool and kayaking. The villa was comfortable and clean. It has all the necessities and comforts of home. Herbert was very responsive to our questions including the staff who made us feel welcome. I would recommend a vehicle to go into Placencia. We did book several excursions and they picked us up at the Villas. Highly recommend staying at the Villas at Cocoplum! Carla L.,

Beautiful property! The house was well equipped and in a great location. Very private. The sunsets were INCREDIBLE. Comfortable beds. It was a short 15 minute drive into Placencia. Walkable to some restaurants. We had some issues with the pool but the property management company worked hard to get it sorted out for us. Highly recommend this location if you're looking for a beautiful and relaxing getaway :)

I appreciated and enjoyed staying at La Vida Belize. Brad is a friendly, responsive and supportive host. He went out of his way to help me on both check in and check out days with logistics. The beach is 10m outside the door and gorgeous and calm. There is a plunge pool literally right outside. The studio has a chic, modern aesthetic that suits my taste. Placencia is about 25 mins away. Brad rented me a new and fun e-bike at a quite reasonable rate for the entire duration which was fun to get around on. I enjoyed the restaurants that are around. A few more miscellaneous points for those considering it. Brad’s helpers onsite are friendly and helpful. La Vida Belize sits pretty directly on the main road, with some traffic noise. There are two other airbnbs on the property. All in all, really cool stay. Grateful I found this as an option. Served me really well.
