Had a great stay over New Years’s! Sandy’s place was as advertised and perfect for our family of 5.

Accurate description - lovely place and relaxing stay. Clean, spacious with lovely views and very pet friendly. We went in the winter and enjoyed the outdoor fireplace during a snow flurry. Beautiful! Our only hiccup was that it was so cold outside that the heating inside didn't warm the space, so I had to contact the host to increase the temp. He was super prompt in communication and increased the thermostat remotely. Other than it being quite chilly for a few hours that afternoon, our stay was cozy and relaxing.

A perfect place to spend Christmas back home! Kelly even had a Christmas tree for us!! The house was just as described with adorable holiday accents. It was a bit too snowy to go in the river, but it was wonderful to watch the weather out the large windows over it. The dogs settled right in. The location is perfect as well. Could not have asked for a better all-around space!

We could not have asked for a better location and accommodations for 4 adults and 2 children on our first family vacation. The house is located just off the road on a peaceful and quiet very large lot. The bedding was so comfortable making for very restful nights. We had easy access to multiple beaches, restaurants playgrounds and wineries. When we chose to buy local fish and cook at home we found the kitchen well apportioned and stocked. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this little piece of heaven in Leland. PS: we enjoyed our daily visit with her chickens and she was generous to share the most delicious eggs. We were spoiled by everything this place has to offer.

Amanda was incredibly friendly, informative, responsive and flexible with all of our needs and communication throughout our NYE stay at her beautiful home! The house was spotless, there was coffee and a bottle of wine with a sweet note waiting for us on the table at check in, as well as thoughtful touches like dog bowls, towels and sheets to cover the furniture so we could still have some snuggle time with our pup. The back yard was perfect with an awesome hot tub, lights, fire pit and fully fenced for our fur baby to run and play. If you are looking for an easy to find, centrally located, beautiful and comfortable place to stay in Traverse City, I would 100% recommend this place as well as any others that Amanda hosts!

My family and our dog came to Northport for a family wedding at Willowbrook Mill and had an AMAZING stay at the Straubel House. The house was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. The dog loved the fenced yard and we were like a block off the bay! We could walk everywhere including to the venue of the wedding. Octavia was friendly and helpful - wonderful host!!

We stayed for 8 nights. EVERYTHING in the house was as described in the listing - so spacious and comfortable! Everything worked well, and even the pots and pans were in good condition. The wall of one-way windows in the great room was awesome! It was like being in nature without actually being in nature :-). You could almost reach out and touch the family of deer and birds that stopped by each day. I set up my workstation there (wifi worked great) and even enjoyed having to work! One of my favorite parts of the experience was stepping outside into complete silence! Such a welcome change to the city. We also loved the snow! We were so pleased that Dustin's guy came by promptly to clear the driveway each time more snow fell. All in all, this was one of our most relaxing, picturesque, and care-free vacay's. Thanks, Dustin, for sharing your lovely home! It's on our "repeat list" for sure.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stephanie's place. The hosts were extremely responsive and helpful with local recommendations, ranging from nearby restaurants to snowshoeing trails. The house is fantastic and offers all the amenities to make you feel at home (including some dog treats). If you have a dog, the fenced backyard is wonderful and there are plenty of nearby trails to explore.

Timothy was an excellent host. He was very responsive to my initial questions as someone who is newer to renting an AirBnB and was quick to help when I called about an issue with one of the smoke alarms on arrival (extremely minor, just a faulty battery, but I wanted to make sure to ask before deactivating it). Overall a nice place to stay, I would definitely return in the future!

Thank you Kristi for allowing us to stay at your home! We had a great time and loved everthing about Gaylord. We spent Christmas here with the family and have to say it really was a white christmas! The home was perfect for the family and had eveything we needed to feel like if we were at home. Once again thank you we will be back soon!

We recently relocated back to Ohio from Colorado for family and have had the desire to ski an area with better snow than what Ohio has. Long story short, that’s what brought us to Boyne to stay at Clint’s place. This place was extremely clean and we noticed that right away. From ping pong to arcade games, it felt very homey. The beds were comfortable as well. We used the hot tub several times and that was a huge hit with kids. The instructions, recommendations, and other things were very clearly communicated. Thanks for a great stay! Our only regret is we weren’t able to stay longer but I’d say we’ll definitely be back!

Sunset Glory has been our "go-to" ski weekend rental for years! We Love the apartment and being right in town and so close to the Highlands!

Kat and Skip’s place was awesome! Cute, comfy, cozy! Nice tv accommodations if needed, balcony was nice! Definitely would stay here again! The beds were super comfy.

Not only was this peaceful gem just like the listing. BUT the record collection and books are AWESOME!!!! The pet friendly fenced in back yard was spacious and well lit for our Great Dane puppy to run a frolic to her little hearts content. Cant build build a fire?(even though there was ample wood supplied)?? There’s a gas table top fire.. don’t feel like going out??? I made a homemade breakfast pizza and had all the cooking utensils I needed… I felt soo at home and at peace. And enjoyed a trip to Petosky and POND HILL FARM and the tunnel of trees. I JUST need to know one thing??? How much is rent, and when can I move in??

Rachel was a great host. Very clean & well taken care of. Close & easy excess to orv/snowmobile trails. Plenty of parking & close to town. Will stay there again.

Had a great stay at Cory's. Very private and quiet area but close to a great coffee shop, brewery, restaurant, and ice cream shop in Lake Ann. The "water closets" were unique, but they were needed so we didn't all have to fight for the main bath room and shower, which are dated but work fine. There was plenty of space for 5 of us and a dog. Cory was sure to have the box fan and screen in the 3rd bedroom for us which we definitely needed with no air-conditioning in the bedrooms. We would stay here again.

The house was in a great location, walkable to Suttons bay but out of the mix as well. We loved the private beach and views from the living room. Communication with fast and easy. Worth it to note that there is only one AC. They did have a bunch of large fans, we just hit a hot week there sleeping wise.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Peace Retreat. The location could not have been better, with Lake Michigan just a walk away, and the beautiful trails for easy walking behind the property. We loved the yard set up, with a campfire ready for us to enjoy, the hammocks, and little paths to enjoy the property. We loved all the extra blankets and quirky furnishings inside the home, and it was perfect for us to enjoy a mother daughter weekend.

The unit was great! Super clean, who VG is always a relief when you get to a place. The bathroom in particular felt ultra clean. Our favorite part is the proximity to the beach and the nice park at the beach.
