Family House in Child Friendly Neighborhood

SepehrRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Our stay at Majid's Airbnb on Steeles Avenue was nothing short of fantastic. The location is ideal, providing easy access to downtown Toronto and other key areas. From the very beginning, Majid was incredibly helpful and super responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The house itself is spacious, spanning three floors including the basement, which was perfect for our family. All the necessary amenities were provided, and the lovely backyard added a charming touch to our experience. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, with plenty of nature around, making it a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Majid's phenomenal service and attention to detail truly enhanced our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better host or a better place to stay in Toronto. We would 100% recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a family-friendly accommodation in the city. Thank you, Majid,

Luxury Penthouse with Panoramic Views

DanielleRating, 5 stars6 days ago
My family of five had a great stay! We had absolutely no issues finding the unit or parking our car due to the extremely detailed instructions Sophie provided. We also appreciated the information we received regarding local attractions, nearby restaurants and supermarkets. I wish all Airbnb hosts provided such information. The condo itself is nothing short of amazing! Wall to ceiling windows with 360 views all around which included stunning views of the city, Lake Ontario and surrounding areas. It was so beautiful we didn’t want to leave but when we did we were pleasantly surprised to find the building is centrally located and close to everything! It’s walking distance to the restaurants, retail stores, supermarkets, CN Tower, Rogers Stadium, aquarium and so much more. If you don’t feel like walking, the TTC is a very short walk away. Sophie was extremely communicative throughout the stay but honestly we had everything we needed. Can’t wait to stay here again very soon

This spot is in prime downtown location. Park the car in the garage and walk to most everywhere you want to visit. One of the best Thai restaurants is the next block over. We really enjoyed our stay.

Bright Modern Private Oasis Whole Laneway 3BR 3BA

JessicaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A perfect stay. Rayva’s place is pristine, comfortable, beautiful and private while being a short walk away from transit and tons of restaurants. The beds are very comfortable, the atmosphere is peaceful and the place is very spacious. It looks and feels brand-new with great attention to detail. The “house manual” is really clear about where to find everything and what to do. The value for money is truly incredible, given that this is a 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath detached laneway house! Our 10 and 12 year olds also loved the place. They loved having their own space and they also found it very comfortable. We loved this stay and we will recommend Rayva’s place to everyone we know who wants to visit Toronto with their tweens and teens.

"Home Sweet Home"

AriannaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My family stayed with at Xiu Rong’s beautiful home so we could attend a concert in downtown Toronto. Her place was only 25 minutes from the Scotiabank arena, but provided a large enough space that 12 of us could stay together for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this stay for anyone with a large group in the GTA!

Your guide to Toronto

All About Toronto

Situated on the northwest shore of Lake Ontario, Toronto is the largest city in Canada, home to three million residents — roughly half of whom were born abroad, which makes it the most multicultural city in the country. You can grab a table at one of Kensington Market’s hip, world-class restaurants to enjoy Baja-style tacos or Jamaican jerk chicken, or sip third-wave coffee in Roncesvalles before browsing the employee picks at a cosy indie bookshop.

Art lovers will want to spend a day wandering from gallery to gallery in the pedestrian-only Distillery District or duck into Graffiti Alley to admire some of Toronto’s most famous street art. To experience the best view of the skyline, rise above the streets at Downtown Toronto’s 1,815-foot CN Tower — once the tallest freestanding structure in the world.

Nearby, Lake Ontario’s sandy shores invite sunbathing and summer swimming, with volleyball games at Woodbine Beach and juicy burgers by the Kew-Balmy boardwalk. The nearby Toronto Islands house an artists’ colony, hiking and biking trails, and an amusement park — all just 15 minutes from downtown by ferry.

The best time to stay in a holiday rental in Toronto

Toronto is a city that lives for patio season — the sunny months span from June to September, and everyone spills outside to dine alfresco and hop into kayaks for an evening paddle in the bay. It’s also the season for many outdoor celebrations, including the Toronto Caribbean Carnival and Pride Toronto — one of the biggest Pride celebrations in the world. In winter, Toronto transforms into a real-life snowglobe, with average temperatures below freezing. You’ll need to bundle up for any outdoor activities, but the scenery is worth it. These chilly months are also a good time to explore Toronto museums like the Aga Khan — the first museum on the continent dedicated to Islamic civilizations.

Top things to do in Toronto

High Park

Stretching across 400 acres, High Park provides peace and adventure for locals and visitors alike, located just 20 minutes from downtown. Its perfectly manicured lawns, outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts, and vast array of wildlife from bats to herons make it the city’s natural playground.

Graffiti Alley

It can seem like every corner of Toronto has some street art to show off, but certain neighbourhoods are home to impressive commissioned murals that have to be seen to be believed. The most popular and most photographed collection can be found in the three blocks that make up Graffiti Alley, located in Toronto’s Fashion District. The walls here showcase local talent as well as some of the biggest names in the art world, and it’s also a popular spot to hold street festivals.

Snacks at St. Lawrence

Toronto’s gastronomic offering runs to over 7,000 restaurants representing a range of global cuisines and cultures. Among those is the popular St. Lawrence Market, a centuries-old indoor space that houses two floors of vendors selling everything from fresh-baked pastries to specialty cheeses. The best day to stop by is a Saturday, when the famous Farmers’ Market is in full swing.
