this house in a small village at the bottom of a fjord is very welcoming, the whole family felt very comfortable. The mountain on one side, the water from the fjord on the other, the setting is really great, and the place is quiet and refreshing. The village is located very close to many walking spots (car recommended to discover the treasures of Senja), and there is a very nice beach a 10 minute walk away. Jorgen was, even remotely, taking care of us and he made sure we had a good stay. Always responsive to our questions. we had a great week here, and saw very nice northern lights 🙂

A little piece of paradise. We've had a wonderful time at Barre's house. A very peaceful place, surrounded by nature, with a beautiful view on the mountains and private beach. If you're lucky enough you'll get the chance to meet some wild reindeers and dance with lady aurora nearly every nights, just looking by the window. The house has everything you need, is very big, has comfy bed. We 1000% recommend it. We will definitely come back.

We loved our stay here. it was peaceful. It was just a few minute walk to a restaurant and to a 24/7grocery mart and some very popular hikes within walking distance from the lodging.

Tidy and clean, homey and nice view. Easy to check in and out, and easy to navigate.

I really enjoyed this cute little house located in the heart of Senja near all the nice photography spots! House is super cute! And I really liked all the attention to details from the host..such as giving my two Senja beers from a local brewery! Nice touch!

Clean and well decorated accommodation, located on the beautiful island of Sommarøy with its crystal clear waters. Possibility of walking hikes from the house. Accommodation matches the description but kitchen and a bedroom a little small for 4 adults. However on this beautiful island it is hard to find better.

Had the pleasure of being here for the weekend. Very nice host, very flexible and friendly. The apartment was really nice, clean and had a lovely view. We couldn't have had a better time here and will probably be back. The host was available on message and responded quickly when we had questions. Thanks for a great weekend!

A Lovely apartment near hiking trails. Apartment was clean and even tho I forgot to mention that we needed two bedrooms for us, Trude prepped the room after we arrived after I messaged them. We had two energetic dogs with us and this apartment was perfect since we’re able to go on hikes right behind the house.

We enjoyed our stay here alot. The view of the sea and the Mountains is just breathtaking. A small grocery shop for All needs is right above the house, this is perfect. We also saw the northern lights just above the house on several days.

Very warm and spacious accommodation, the view is magnificent from the living room, in a quiet and peaceful place ☺️ The host is very kind, I recommend it!

Nice and perfect place to stay a night on the way to Senja from Lofoten. Peacful place, easy to find and and we get everything we need. Cannot share about the surrounding because when we arrived it's already dark.😊 But we are happy that we found this place.

In the selective section, I selected the "Place looks like in the photos" option, but it's not true, the place is better than the photos! It may be the most beautiful place we've been to so far!! Wonderful views from the living room window, both bedrooms, patio, garden and jacuzzy 🥹😍 We saw the light every night of our 3 pumpkin stay from the beach, which is next to the house. And when the sky was on the other side of the sky (not visible from our beach), it was enough to go to another beach for shortcuts, to the other end of the island (maybe 100 meters) A charming barbecue gazebo that is available to guests complete the image of this place as a small paradise on a land perfect for a getaway. The owners are super nice and very helpful! We can't get into this place and its hosts! 🤗 WE RECOMMEND WHOLEHEARTEDLY!!!

The place is well equipped and beautifully decorated. We felt comfortable from the first moment. The property is very quiet with great views over the fjord. Already on the first night we could see a sky full of northern lights. Camilla and Thomas were very helpful and always responded immediately to questions. Especially when we had problems with the water supply. We would definitely stay there again.

The house is really cozy in a strategic location near the ferry stop, but still immersed in tranquility. On one side there is a beautiful view of the fjord over the sea and on the other side there is a view of the mountains and this location also allowed us to see the Northern Lights directly from the apartment. The newly equipped apartment with kitchen utensils, towels, hairdryer, sofas and the bed was very comfortable. Silvia and Thomas are very kind and also very helpful in helping us understand how the ferry worked. Highly recommended!!!

It is very close to nature and in a very nice and quiet location. Kjetil always responded very quickly and gave good tips.

We were so lucky to stay at this beautiful, very child-friendly cabin that is extremely well equipped (especially the kitchen) as it is used oftentimes by the owners themselves. We saw wonderful Northern lights and reindeers, even just sitting on the couch in the living room. The cabin was much more spacious than we expected. Our two toddlers had a lot of fun, given there were toys for them, they could see so many birds & ships, at the beginning play in the snow, then simply walk around outside. One can go for nice longer walks, e.g. to the island Brensholmen and Sommaroy. For those that are interested: We arrived and left by bus from Tromso without any problem. We didn't rent a car, and didn't miss it in our 7 day stay, as we also brought games ourselves (there were also some nice ones from the host!). Thank you, Hanne, for letting us stay there - we enjoyed every single moment and hope to come back!

Absolutely amazing place with beautiful a beautiful view of the mountains, ocean, and Northern Lights. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to call “home” while visiting Norway. The deck, hot tub, and viewing deck were a perfect place to view the Northern Lights. When staying at Wenche’s place, you can take a walk on the beach, dip your toes in the ocean, drive to Sommarøy, view Northern Lights, head towards Tromsø, or simply sit in the living room and look out the massive windows at majestic mountains. In addition to all of the beautiful nature, the house also had everything you’d need: kitchen items, plenty of towels, smart TV, and EXTREMELY comfortable beds! I hope I get to come back to Brensholmen and stay at this house again in the future…I was able to check off so many bucket list items!

Super cozy and quiet place, perfect to explore the near surrounding. Also very easy to find and just a few minutes to drive from the ferry in Botnhamn. The contact with the host was very easy, friendly and I got perfect informations about everything.
