The Manoir has recently been beautifully restored with an eye for details and tastefully decorated. With four bedrooms, each with an en-suite, it offered enough space for our group of 6 adults and a baby. The house is also well heated and the fireplace in the salon worked well. The view is stunning. From the house you can easily walk into the center that was now also festively lit around Christmas. The house fully met our expectations based on the pictures. The road upstairs remained a challenge.

Staying at the Maison du Cavalier is (almost) feeling the owner of the Chateau de l 'Avenue and its magical environment (30ha of greenery and meadows). The center of Pierrefite-en-Auge is a 5-minute walk through the property (where unfortunately the excellent Auberge des Deux Tonneaux has closed its doors) and Pont-l'Evêque is a 5-minute drive to shop or enjoy its good addresses. The House is perfect, quiet and with magnificent views of the Park and the valley. As for the beaches including Villers (my favorite) is a 20-minute drive away. In short, an ideal place in the Pays d 'Auge map to enjoy the Normandy countryside and its beaches away from the crowds of Deauville or Trouville. I highly recommend it. The House of the Guardian, on the other hand, is a little too much at the side of the road.

Lovely house in a nice garden next to a great pond! The hosts helped us great and had good recommendations! We stayed for a week, but there is loads to do in the neighbourhood (driving distance) so staying longer would have been no problem. I would recommend to bring a night mask since two of the curtains of the roof windows aren't really great in darkening the room. We would definitely come back!

Lovely clean house. Very quiet road. Pool area was fabulous and we spent plenty of time around the pool and in the tidy garden. Short walk/cycle down into town for Boulangerie. 10min drive into Trouville-sur-Mer for cricket on the beach and seafood. Brilliant holiday!

We had a lovely stay in this bright, comfortable and conveniently located apartment in a beautiful house typical of this charming city. The balcony with the sea view and the proximity to the beach and the city center are all assets to this apartment We were particularly happy to be able to escape this weekend to Trouville, family and in the presence of our dog and this for one night only, which is rare here. We had a very pleasant stay, Michael's residence is very well maintained and the location is perfect for quiet rest. Michael is a gracious host and very available when we needed him on site. The pool is spacious and very well maintained, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the same for common areas. We would definitely recommend staying at this place!

There were 12 of us, and the place was great! Very nice welcome from Ludo, very friendly and he made himself available when we needed (thank you again!). The accommodation is great for large groups of people with everything you need to have fun indoors during fickle weather, but also outdoors when the weather is nice. The outdoor grounds are very large with adorable animals. The kitchen is very well-equipped, each room was very good with great bathroom too. Nothing to say, highly recommend:)
