Holiday rentals with beach access in Townsville

The accommodation was very comfortable. However, I chose not to use the pool because the apartments overlook it, which made me feel a bit self-conscious, and the water was also quite cold. Additionally, along the Strand, the noise from vehicles with loud engines and occasional yelling and screaming from the park nearby made me feel uneasy. I understand these issues are beyond the host’s control.

What an amazing little place! Such a perfect getaway for the family, plenty of homely touches and activities for the kids. We will be back!

A quiet townhouse, ideal for excursions in the area. You can reach the ferry dock for the ferry to Magnetic Island in five minutes by car.

Fantastic place, had everything we needed. Loved having the pool just a few steps away and cafes and the beautiful Strand right at our doorstep.

The accommodation meet our needs for our Townsville stay. Close to the Strand its offerings including restaurants, shops, beach, etc. The apartment amenities were clean, functional and sufficient for our needs.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful little home! The space was spotless, with every detail thoughtfully considered to ensure comfort. The peaceful atmosphere was exactly what we needed to relax and recharge. The bed was cozy, the amenities were top-notch, and the surrounding area was quiet yet conveniently located. Communication with the host was seamless, making the entire experience even better. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean and serene getaway.

Michelle's place is very comfortable and relaxing and it's functional too. The surrounds are incredibly beautiful and peaceful. It felt like home in a short time. The host had thought of everything for our holidaying pleasure. It is so much better than the photos

We loved Richard’s beautiful home. The space has been thoughtfully designed and is beautiful and practical, with the two pavilions offering space and privacy. Beautifully clean and in such a handy location to town. Everything about this has the wow factor. We loved the pool, the indoor-outdoor aspects of the decks hallway. Thank you for hosting us. Lovely inviting home with plenty of space and all the amenities you need - perfect for us and great to have a pool which was particularly appreciated by our son 😊 Fab location - we enjoyed being able to walk along the beach to the local tavern and watch the stunning sunsets. Christine was a great host, very responsive and amenable. Thank you for sharing your home with us and I’ll be in touch ahead of our next trip!

My husband & I have stayed on Magnetic Island many times & always love it -Eleanor’s beautiful home was new to us. So peaceful sitting on one of several balconies watching/listening to teeming wildlife in the surrounding National Park. The house itself is fabulous with a lovely ambience. Having had a minor accident (not in the house!) I needed to rest an ankle for a couple of days - being in such a lovely situation holiday was not spoiled as it was a pleasure to just chill out in the house. Eleanor was a perfect host and I wish to thank her for letting us stay at Samsara.

A great location for exploring Picnic Bay and the rest of the island! Thank you for allowing our pet to join us for a long weekend. It’s hard to find a spot on the island that will accept pets but is also conveniently located close to beaches and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others!
