Very nice romantic cabin with a beautiful view. A special place in senja.

JorunIrene’s place was absolutely beautiful and comfortable. The photos do not really embody how beautiful of a home this is or how stunning the view is. The hot tub was pristine and was the perfect place to watch the northern lights. The house is well-stocked, and the staff down at reception is very helpful as well. The restaurant was closed 2 of the nights we were there, so I would check to make sure it is open before relying on it for dinner as there are not many options in town should you need to pivot. There is a floating sauna for rent down at reception as well which was an unexpected bonus. We had a lovely time and you should not hesitate to book this place!

A very cozy place with character in a beautiful scenery. Everything was as expected and Eskil has been a wonderful host - proactive, fair, easy to reach. In the winter time I would recommend using the ferry with a rental car as this is the easier way to reach the island.

Absolutely amazing place with beautiful a beautiful view of the mountains, ocean, and Northern Lights. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to call “home” while visiting Norway. The deck, hot tub, and viewing deck were a perfect place to view the Northern Lights. When staying at Wenche’s place, you can take a walk on the beach, dip your toes in the ocean, drive to Sommarøy, view Northern Lights, head towards Tromsø, or simply sit in the living room and look out the massive windows at majestic mountains. In addition to all of the beautiful nature, the house also had everything you’d need: kitchen items, plenty of towels, smart TV, and EXTREMELY comfortable beds! I hope I get to come back to Brensholmen and stay at this house again in the future…I was able to check off so many bucket list items!

We had a great time at Kjersti's place. The accommodation is modern, cozy, clean, well-equipped, with an incredible environment where we were able to see momentum and northern lights. We would have stayed much longer! Kjersti is also very responsive by message.

It was a great and peaceful stay in Kristian’s and his family cabin. You can see the attention they put in making it comfortable and homey. On top of that, the surroundings are gorgeous and the view can keep you looking out for hours. If you have a chance to stay there, just book it!

We had a very nice time in this great house. It had everything you needed and the area was very nice. The contact with Daniel was very friendly and worked out very well. We will be happy to come back.

What a beautiful house!! Worthwhile visiting, especially if you like fishing! We threw out once and had a fish which we enjoyed eating 😋 The house really has all you need accommodation wise. Lovely owners too. Thank you for having us!

Very nice place. Close to nature. We were lucky enough to observe a fishing eagle from the cabin in the morning and the northern lights in the evening. We will come back without hesitation if the opportunity arises. A big thank you to you May-Tordis for hosting us in your cabin.

It is very close to nature and in a very nice and quiet location. Kjetil always responded very quickly and gave good tips.

A great house with great hosts. We felt very comfortable. Everything was in the house. The view is wonderful and there were great northern lights to see from the house. Morten gave us a lot of information, for example for shopping and was always available. Thank you for the beautiful, relaxing time.

Magnifique ! The environment is extraordinary: the house is located north of a lake, and surrounded by mountains. It has all the amenities to feel "at home". There's even a canoe and life jackets to go for a walk on the lake. As for the host, she is very responsive. In short, in a word, 5 well-deserved stars. Thanks!

We had a great stay in the hut - it was super cozy (fireplace and candles) and exactly what we expected based on the description. We loved the wood-fired sauna (even saw nothern lights!) as well as the location of the hut: surrounded by birch forest which was great for snow shoe walks, we even saw reindeers. Kitchen was equipped very well so we could cook for ourselves. Would recommend and love to come again!

A perfect getaway in Tromsø! We stayed at this beautiful, spacious cabin on Sjøtun, Kvaløya, for three nights after Christmas, and it exceeded all our expectations. The location is stunning, right by the fjord, offering tranquility and privacy, yet it’s only a 50-minute drive from the airport. The cabin was exceptionally well-equipped, and we didn’t miss a thing. The host was incredibly friendly and always quick to respond, making the stay even more enjoyable. Although we didn’t see the Northern Lights during our visit, we were delighted to have two reindeer stop by one morning, which was a magical experience. We would love to return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and peaceful retreat in Tromsø!

We stayed at Simon's cabin for 2 days to participate in the Waltour and enjoy the separation. Both were great and we enjoyed it very much. The communication with Simon was friendly and always timely and we got helpful support when checking in! That you have to go to the forest to pee and there is no running water was no problem for us and we got along well. Great spot!

Do you look for a good break from the noisy city life and if you want to get in touch with the nature and live a basic countryside life? then this is absolutely the right place for that. Also, the polar lights there looked amazing and the Cabin offers un ultimate coziness. Oystein was really nice and helpful. We never waited long for his responses. I'd be happy to go there again.

It’s hard to describe Lars’ cabin. It’s nothing short of magical! Truly otherworldly. The cabin sits perched on a beautiful lake where you can get an unobstructed view of the mountains and lake. Easy to see the northern lights on a clear night. The property had everything we needed as a family with two young children and we were extremely comfortable. Lars also provided us with an abundance of information about experiences in the area that helped enhance our trip. Thank you Lars for an experience we won’t soon forget!
