Holiday rentals in Trent Vale

This cottage was perfect for us - 2 couples with small children. Louise gave us loads of information before we arrived, and her husband greeted us shortly after we arrived. It was such an easy stay with small children, we had everything we needed, and the stair gate made life so easy! There were lots of lovely touches like providing snacks, coffee and jams. And Louise even provided some glasses for the solar eclipse!! The surroundings are really peaceful and the kids loved the 2 Shetland ponies in the field opposite. There are lots of options for walks from the cottage, or a short drive away. The Black Lion pub did a great roast dinner. I found there was so much thought put into the stay and Louise was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

We booked this as a family trip for three for Easter. We arrived and found the property easily by following the instructions sent. There is one car parking space provided which was a decent size, we have previously had issues with tiny air bnb spaces. Easy access as there is a key pad on the door. The property itself matches the pictures, is clean and has a well equipped kitchen. Beds were comfy so was the sofa for sitting watching tv. The only criticism I could make is that some of the ceilings are low for me at 6ft 2 so watch your head haha. The hosts were great and communicated well and the location is absolutely spot on, walking distance to bars and restaurants and a short drive to the zoo and Cheshire Oaks. Would highly recommended!

We had a great stay in Bakewell. A very nice setting, ideal for exploring the Peak District and surrounding area. Excellent communication from the host, and very well organised and well equipped property. We would certainly recommend.

Had a great stay at The Alders there were 6 of us . Had space for both cars… soo close to Alton Towers- we stayed for our daughters 16th Birthday… we grabbed a take out in Cheadle and went to the BullsHead inn a couple of minutes walk from the accommodation- would definitely recommend a stay here

This was our second time staying at this lovely Airbnb and once again we had a wonderful, relaxing stay! The place is spotless and is within walking distance of the beautiful town of Buxton. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the local area!

A beautiful cottage, with a charming layout, making the most of the fantastic views. We could have sat watching the views for hours and were only sorry we didn't have more time to enjoy the terrace! It was well appointed and felt very homely. We loved how convenient it was for walking into Matlock Bath (only 5 minutes) with its fish and chip shops, ice cream parlours, amusements and lovely riverside walk and 2 play parks. What a great location for us as a family and it was very handy to be able to leave the car at the house and walk to the cable cars for the Heights of Abraham. We appreciated the milk and tin of chocolate biscuits. One tip for anyone who visits is to park at the top of the house, and not take the car around to the front of the house to save having to reverse up the steep hill as the road at the bottom has now been cordoned off. Overall it was fantastic and would recommend staying here for the immediate surroundings. We had fantastic weather for April so we could sit out on the patio and enjoy the view and the kids enjoyed the garden which was big enough to play football and rounders in. The only nitpick we had were the towels provided were very hard and scratchy and after using a lovely bath or shower the towels were not nice to use. So maybe bring your own in case they are not replaced soon. Although this did not affect us as the weather was great. If it did rain a lot and you were stuck in the downstairs lounge or dining area has no view of the lovely lake you can see from outside. There are views from upstairs main bedroom windows though.

My family had a very lovely stay at the apartment. Melissa was very responsive and accommodating to our requests. The apartment was the perfect size for my family of 5, cozy and beautifully furnished. The apartment is located in a nice part of Altrincham. The fact that it is a gated compound was a huge plus for us in terms of safety considerations. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip back to visit our family! Thank you Melissa for being such a wonderful host.

Great location, nice and quiet area but very close to the centre of Manchester to get to all the attractions.
