What an authentic and welcoming stay I had at Roy’s! A warm and clean house, a confortable room, a delicious breakfast and most importantly the kindest host! On top of that, the surroundings are incredible. I highly recommend !!

Very cozy large house with several rooms. Our room had a great view over the sound, and we were able to see the northern lights from our window. It was super peaceful, everyone we talked to was helpful and very friendly, the bed was very comfortable, and there were two fluffy playful dogs! Absolutely worth the very reasonable price.

An amazing stay! You can see the Northern Lights and enjoy the stunning fjord scenery. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax. The host is incredibly warm and welcoming, and communication was effortless. The house is clean and well-maintained, providing a very comfortable stay. On the first night, the host kindly waited for me until late and even prepared a delicious dinner, inviting me to enjoy reindeer meat and a bonfire outside. The whole experience was full of warmth and joy—I can't wait to come back!

Sissel’s a friendly, kind-hearted, helpful and generous host. She gave us a lot of support during our stay in Tromsø. She helped us to explore the city and with her help, we were able to witness the beautiful aurora. We also hiked in the mountains, that was amazing to walk on the snow path. Her house is sooooo clean and I like the decorations very much. She’s got a lovely cat called Lion which is also friendly and lovely. Please choose her house in Tromsø, you’ll be deeply moved by her nice house and never regret.

By renting the little cabin, Marianne and George open the door to their little paradise. In their place you will feel love, real nature and one of the most beautiful landscape ever, even the drive to and from Tromso is breathtaking. For people seeking a true experience in nature this is the perfect place. The cabin is remote, a step back in time, no mod cons and this is it’s beauty. A cosy, warm little haven in the beautiful wild. It is well thought out - all the instructions given by Marianne and George, and noted around the cabin ensure your stay is seamless and answers all the questions you might have - it is important to listen to them, especially as you are in the middle of the wild, responsible for your own warmth and staying in someone’s home. You are stepping back in time, at one with nature. This is a magical place. Marianne and George are kind and welcoming people. In the middle of an area flooded with guides and tourists and impersonal experiences they are a true find. Passionate about nature and the aurora, experts in the region (Marianne is a local). If you’re looking for other experiences whilst staying in the area - they are the perfect people to ask (especially aurora hunting). Going to the cabin is a truly unique experience. We are leaving with stars in our eyes and will definitely return.

Very sweet and helpful hosts. Close to the city center and bus from and to the airport. Lovely bathroom, you were hardly bothered by the other guests. With use of the kitchen to make food or tea. Tasty cookies. Felt right at home there.

Very nice apartment, with free on-street front parking. The owner made us find the refrigerator full of everything you need for breakfast (milk, yogurt), fruit juices, various cheeses and eggs, to guarantee us breakfast x all week. Very kind

We had such a lovely stay w Merete in Tromsø. Cozy, comfy, warm, & inviting. This describes her space. Every amenity is made available. We were afforded not only lovely accommodation but a warm smile and Vellkommen. In a Lovely neighborhood. Fjord View outside. Svipper Bus-stop 5 mins walk. Grocery 10 mins away. Merete is without a doubt a passionate host & Tromsø was AMAZING! Tytyty.

Anton was a great host, he facilitated us by arranging to collect our luggage before check in and also drove us to the city centre. Excellent communication and very responsive! His place has everything one might need, fully equipped kitchen and two bedrooms. We were really happy with it and didn’t think that the photos on Airbnb did it justice. One note for future travellers is that the apartment is not in the city centre of Tromso, although we didn’t have any problems with that as we had a car - Anton facilitated us with parking it in front of his garage too. Highly recommended!

The house is beautiful, quiet and room has private bathroom. Tove and Walter were really responsive to my queries before arrived. Location and neighbourhood is really beautiful during winter with thick snow covered rooftops and ground. Host has prepared simple breakfast and I was really grateful. About 5 mins to near bus-stop to city centre and airport. Too bad I stay for 3 days and it’s really not enough to explore the neighbourhood. Really recommended to single traveler or perhaps for 2 people.

Very nice and clean place. Breakfast is excellent, after that there is no need for lunch. And dinner also very good.
