The cabin is very nice and cozy, Aino and Anna are very good hosts, they are very responsive and gave us good tips on what to do in the area. One evening we were lucky to watch northern lights from their pier, which was wonderful, while sitting on reindeer skin :) We also went ice fishing with Aino and Anna and rented some skiing equipment which was a good activity to do during our stay :) Aino and Anna also prepared some fish for us which was very nice. The only disadvantage of the place is that the main road is near the cabin so you can see and hear cars driving by from time to time when outside which disrupts the feeling of nature a bit. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this place :)

We spent a fantastic week in an exceptional setting and a functional and cozy accommodation. A true haven of peace that is very much worth a visit!

Our stay was just wonderful. The house has a stunning view of the sea that we enjoyed daily. The place was spotlessly clean, cozily furnished, and equipped with everything we needed. The peaceful surroundings and the proximity to nature made our stay particularly relaxing. The host was extremely helpful and made sure we were completely comfortable. We highly recommend this place and are already looking forward to our next visit.

The four of us stayed with Jenny and Johan for a week. The place was wonderful and we had a very nice time!!! Especially the view of the fjord, the surroundings and incredible northern lights have to be lifted out. The jacuzzi on the terrace was the icing on the cake. In particular, we would like to thank you for the information on how to get there. The street was closed by avalanches and Jenny/Johan gave us tips and information for the bypass. Just great. Thank you!

Having stayed here a couple of years ago already, this was our second visit and again we weren't disappointed. We almost needed to drive the long way round again due to avalanches on the road leading to the ferry but thankfully this time it was running when we needed it and Izzy and Romain went out of their way to ensure we had up to date information on the status. Needless to say, this shouldn't put others off because it's rather rare that conditions prevent the ferry from running. Likewise, the stairs up to the house are quite a workout with luggage but it's well worth the effort. The combination of sauna and hot tub as well as a spacious living area and great view make for a wonderful stay and the Northern Lights also provided entertainment. We made a trip out to the Bivrost distillery but otherwise just enjoyed the house and surrounds. It's a fab setting to just chill and recharge.

Everything super! For skiing the real mountains of lyngen - there is no better place! Wood fired Sauna and hot tube, what can ask more!

Place was comfy, clean and cute. Surrounded by beautiful nature. Host was really helpful and kind.

We struggled to find the cabin but I don’t think we would have had any difficult if we had arrived in daylight. The host was very responsive and arrived on site within 3 minutes to show us where to go. He was very friendly and helpful. The cabin was basic but just as described and what we expected. It was nestled in a lovely peaceful and tranquil environment. A perfect place for a nature lovers get away.

Five stars are not enough to describe the experience we had at Anton's cabin. The timeless and secluded location, the comfort of the accommodation, the access to the surrounding mountains, everything was beyond what we came looking for at Anton's. I can only recommend living this experience in the great Swedish north!

Magnificent cabin with beautiful view and quiet location. The hosts are very friendly, give lots of helpful tips and share current information for the area. 👍🏼 The sauna was a really great feature that we were very happy to use with snow baths 🧖🏽‍♀️ With the oven and heating, the cabin stays nice and warm, which makes the living room and bedrooms even more cozy 🔥 We also enjoyed the Weber gas grill with a view! 🌭 All in all it was really a very nice holiday in winter wonderland and we would definitely love to come back! 😊

The cabin is beautifully situated on a small lake with perfect views of the beautiful northern lights (the strongest we've seen so far!) We could even see and watch the lights from the bed through the large window. It is a quiet place and perfect for relaxing and escaping the stress of everyday life. The cabin is very nice and cozily furnished and you have everything you need. The large windows make you feel a little closer to nature. If you want to relax in the middle of the forest in peace in front of a fireplace in winter, have a sauna in between and then hunt for northern lights, this is the place to be. (there is also the possibility for snowshoe hikes etc. However, we did not try that ourselves)

Cabin that suited us very well as family. Very good location close to the ground and also the cross country tracks. Easy and flexible check in/out. The cabin is well equipped and we had everything we needed. Very happy with the stay!

Very nice little cabin in the woods lake view. It is very quiet, rustic and peaceful.

The cabin was cute and cozy and the views to the mountains were incredible! Communicating with Anita & Tor was smooth and they made sure that we had a pleasant arrival by setting the fire in the wood stove before we checked in. In the winter the cabin can get pretty cold during the night but the stove heats it up really quickly. Thanks for letting us bring our dog with us, we really enjoyed our stay!☺️

Great comfortable house with open view to the lake side. Very well maintained and all available in the kitchen for cooking. Beautifull sauna house (which is kept a room temperature all time). Easy access via the road, and you can arrive and leave any hour with the key box. Dog sledge activities close by, easy driving to Nikkaluokta and Abisko for outdoor activities. Possibility to hire ski material at Hojdmeter or snow shoes at Guidetour.

It was a beautiful paradise in the middle of nowhere! All amenities needed and even more Adventurous to get the water from the lake and take the shower in the sauna we loved it! Host amazing House even more amazing

We are no strangers to Tromso but this was the first time we had stayed at Monica's place. We were very pleased to have chosen to do so though and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The instructions on how to get there were good although we perhaps wouldn't have tried to drive the final 400m to the house at all if we'd appreciated just how tricky that can be even when it's been 'cleared' and the car tyres were studded. Better is just to park in the garage at the top. The guide to the house also covered everything and we enjoyed in particular the sauna and fire (lots of wood provided). The hot tub is a more basic one but we still enjoyed using it a couple of times. The location is great for the Northern Lights with low light pollution and possibility to walk all the way round the house on the veranda. The house is very well equipped and we discovered the local reindeer whilst making good use of the snow shoes. We'd thoroughly recommend Monica and her beautiful house and happily stay again.

Amazing place with magnificent views from every room. Great location, we skied right off of our cabin, enjoyed the amazing views from the sauna and caught the northern lights too. Christopher was a great host, always responsive and friendly. We would definitely be back and highly recommend this beautiful private cabin in the Lyngen Alps!
