Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Trondheim

This was the perfect getaway for our little family! The cabin had everything we needed (the stocked coffee was a delightful bonus!) the property is lovely, our 5 yr old especially loved the cats and there’s a little playhouse next to the cabin which she would go in and play! Thank you Kari and Sonny for a lovely, relaxing stay in your cabin! We highly recommend for small families, animal lovers or anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy nature

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt in dieser abgelegenen Hütte. Wir waren zu Silvester dort und hatten viel Ruhe, sowie eine traumhafte Aussicht. Weil es vor unserer Ankunft und auch vor unserer Abreise sehr stark geschneit hatte, war der Aufstieg von der befahrbaren Straße bis zur Hütte sehr anstrengend, da wir durch ca. 50 cm Neuschnee gehen mussten (wir waren die einzigen wärend dieser paar Tage die den Weg gegangen sind). Der Aufenthalt war aber sehr entschleunigend und angenehm. Sobald wir uns eingelebt hatten, wären wir am liebsten noch viel länger geblieben. Besonders toll fanden wir Ingunns proaktive Unterstützung. Sie versorgte uns von sich aus mit zahlreichen Informationen, besonders was die Wetterlage und die Situation am Flughafen anging. In der Nacht vor unserer Rückreise bahnte sich ein Polarsturm mit extremen Schneefall an. Nur weil Ingunn uns rechtzeitig davor warnte, haben wir rechtzeitig reagieren können, um die Heimreise gut zu schaffen. Vielen Dank, Ingunn!

This was one of the must unique, stunning, and peaceful experiences we’ve had. It’s an incredible view from the top of a short, scenic hike overlooking the nearby lake and mountains. The dome was stocked with cozy amenities (you get to feel truly Nordic with cozy blankets and sheepskins), an easy-to-use heating system and fireplace, and a truly serene atmosphere in which to unplug and just be present. Roar and Birgit were also spectacular, welcoming hosts, helping us navigate transportation in the area. We could not be happier with this memorable slice of Norway!

Incredible location and great accommodation, Roger was very helpful as well! We had a great stay, 4 guests is however too many for cold nights (2 of us in the grill house)

What an unforgettable experience! The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views that exceed expectations. The house is the perfect size, equipped with everything a small family could wish for, and provides all the comforts of home. We stayed over Christmas and New Year’s, arriving to a true winter wonderland. The snowy weather was magical and made our holiday feel even more special. A special thank to Inger-Lise and her family for their incredible hospitality. Their warm welcome and exceptional helpfulness made us feel right at home. It’s rare to feel such a strong connection with a host in such a short time—it was an unexpected highlight of our stay! We wholeheartedly recommend this place for families or couples, whether in winter or summer (we can only imagine how beautiful it must be in warmer months). If conditions are right, you can even see the northern lights directly from the balcony—a truly magical experience.

Magnifique logement avec un magnifique environnement. Très calme et reposant avec de nombreux équipements pour le lac. A 5min du supermarché en voiture très pratique. Merci beaucoup pour cet hébergement et nous espérons revenir ☺️

Liebevoll eingerichtete und jahreszeitlich passend dekorierte Hütte, in der Küche alles, was man braucht, um Mahlzeiten selbst zuzubereiten. Wir haben uns sehr herzlich willkommen gefühlt. Den Sitzplatz in der Küche mit Fenstern in drei Richtungen und der Platz vor dem Kamin haben wir sehr genossen . Die Hütte ist alt und hat dadurch einen besonderen Charme. Die Lage war ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Aktivitäten, in unmittelbarer Nähe (2-3 Km) gibt es Einkaufs- und Wandermöglichkeiten, auch in Trondheim ist man schnell. Eine besondere Unterkunft, in der wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben!
