Great view - perfect starting point for mountain hikes

Great place, great host, great surroundings. Could also use their cabin which was a 40 minute hike (in snow). Overall just a really good experience. In winter time it comes in handy to have a 4 wheel drive for the last part up to the hut.

This was the perfect getaway for our little family! The cabin had everything we needed (the stocked coffee was a delightful bonus!) the property is lovely, our 5 yr old especially loved the cats and there’s a little playhouse next to the cabin which she would go in and play! Thank you Kari and Sonny for a lovely, relaxing stay in your cabin! We highly recommend for small families, animal lovers or anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy nature

What an unforgettable experience! The location is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views that exceed expectations. The house is the perfect size, equipped with everything a small family could wish for, and provides all the comforts of home. We stayed over Christmas and New Year’s, arriving to a true winter wonderland. The snowy weather was magical and made our holiday feel even more special. A special thank to Inger-Lise and her family for their incredible hospitality. Their warm welcome and exceptional helpfulness made us feel right at home. It’s rare to feel such a strong connection with a host in such a short time—it was an unexpected highlight of our stay! We wholeheartedly recommend this place for families or couples, whether in winter or summer (we can only imagine how beautiful it must be in warmer months). If conditions are right, you can even see the northern lights directly from the balcony—a truly magical experience.

Casa Rossa - magnificent view 15 min to Trondheim

It was a very nice stay at this secluded cabin. We went there for New Year's eve and had a lot of peace and quiet, as well as a fantastic view. Because it had snowed very heavily before we arrived and also before we left, the ascent from the drivable road to the cabin was very strenuous, as we had to go through about 50 cm of fresh snow (we were the only ones during those few days that went the way). However, the stay was very slowing and pleasant. Once we had settled in, we would have preferred to stay much longer. We especially loved Ingunn's proactive support. She provided us with plenty of information on her own, especially regarding the weather and the situation at the airport. The night before our return trip, a polar storm with extreme snowfall took off. Just because Ingunn warned us about it in time, we were able to respond in time to make the trip home well. Thanks a lot Ingunn!

We would be happy to come again and can safely recommend the paradise to Thea . Good communication with the host every step of the way . This was one of the must unique, stunning, and peaceful experiences we’ve had. It’s an incredible view from the top of a short, scenic hike overlooking the nearby lake and mountains. The dome was stocked with cozy amenities (you get to feel truly Nordic with cozy blankets and sheepskins), an easy-to-use heating system and fireplace, and a truly serene atmosphere in which to unplug and just be present. Roar and Birgit were also spectacular, welcoming hosts, helping us navigate transportation in the area. We could not be happier with this memorable slice of Norway!

Incredibly charming and cozy place and a truly unique Airbnb. I would definitely recommend staying here. Mads and Elisabeth were very nice hosts who responded quickly to everything I was wondering about. It's close to public transport, so it was easy to get there. I especially liked the fireplace, and would probably really enjoy the nice outdoor area, but it wasn't until now unfortunately.

The apartment is a block away from a bus stop that takes you straight into central Trondheim or in the other direction to hiking and cross country skiing. The place was clean and really well stocked especially the kitchen (pots/pans, spices, utensils). It was a perfect homebase to explore Trondheim. it was bigger than the pictures made it look. If you have bad pet allergies, it may not be the place for you since it is pet friendly.

We had a very pleasant stay. The apartment was cosy and we felt at home. This in combination with a beautiful view of the city was the perfect experience. Absolutely stunning cabin in the gorgeous forests around Åsen, lots to do within only a reasonably short distance meant the 12 days just flew by, certainly sad to leave but definitely determined to come back and experience even more of the wonders Norway has to offer! Hågen & Jennifer were super responsive to any questions we had on our stay and were wonderful hosts. 10/10 would definitely recommend if you are after a day of activities followed by a quiet evening with awesome views. (Just mind the sheep!)

We stayed at Helene's house over Christmas. We immediately felt welcome upon arrival. The house was warm and lit, so we could immediately marvel at the beautiful ambiance. Helene has lovingly decorated and decorated everything. We also liked their self-painted pictures. The house is perfectly equipped with everything you need for a cozy stay. A big highlight is the jacuzzi with a panoramic view. The surroundings are very quiet and nice for walking. THANK YOU for this relaxed and restful stay!
