Waterfront holiday rentals in Tropea

The terrace has the most beautiful view of the beach and the cove, it’s amazing. The apartment is spacious. Would love to come back some time!

Marie was our saviour, having taken us in at the last minute after another booking fell through. Despite the late request, she was able to get the place in order super quick so that we had a safe place to land and enjoy the rest of our time in Tropea. The place itself is clean and well stocked. It couldn’t be better situated in the heart of old town. It overlooks a buzzing central square that is great for people watching. To top it all off, Marie’s partner gave us a lift to the train station. Great stay overall. Bravo. Merci!

We enjoyed it very much, we were in the winter of 2025. It was therefore very quiet in the park, which we also liked. The location is great!! The one who receives you speaks only Italian but is very friendly and helpful.

This apartment was perfect! Very spacious, nice bathrooms and can NOT beat the views! Just gorgeous! We felt right at home. Giorgio was very helpful with all of our needs and inquiries.. would love to return!

We have now stayed in Uldrich's apartment for the second time. As with our first stay 3 years ago, the place was very clean and perfectly equipped! Uldrich responds exceptionally quickly to questions and is very helpful. Unfortunately, we only had time for two nights, but we enjoyed this time very much and recovered perfectly. If we are in the area again, we will definitely stay there again!

We were happy with the apartment. It was cozy, comfortable, clean and quite modern. In particular, we enjoyed sitting on the peaceful, sunny terrace amidst blooming plants and run-away lizards. Stepping through the backdoor of the terrace, it took just a very short walk to Pizzo beach, which was like a lonely planet in mid- October. Liudmyla was very hospitable and provided useful information before check-in. Apart from a short power failure on a rainy day we had a perfect stay at Marinella. Strongly recommended!

The Apartment is absolutely stunning. It’s very good equipped and everything is super high quality - from the beds to the fridge. The view is breathtaking and out of this world. It’s right in the city center with a lot of nice restaurants right around the corner and just e few steps to the beautiful beach. We will definitely come back.

We spent a few wonderful days at Nicole and Filip‘s apartment. The terrace is so spectacular that we wanted to spend all our time outside, even though the inside area is wonderful too (kitchen, bedrooms, bathroom) and equipped with everything one needs. Nicole is very very friendly and accomodating.

The apartment is very well located in the heart of Tropea’s old town, with the most beautiful sea-view. There are several very good restaurants nearby. It was quite hot and there was only one fan. Would have been nice to have had a second one, especially at night. Other than that, we can highly recommend this spacious and very well equipped apartment. Massimo was more than helpful with everything. He gave us many good recommendations where to eat, grocery shopping, etc.

This house is a marvel! So much room! The architecture is amazing, but it has been modernized for things like the windows and the electrical. The kitchen was very functional with a full-sized fridge and all the tools you would ever need in a rental. But the real star is the garden…a dozen fruit trees! A tiny oasis behind the house. There is an outdoor dinner space complete with a wood grill and room to eat outside if you decide not to go out. Giuseppe’s mom met us when we arrived and walked us through everything and could not have been nicer. Parking is on the street, but other than when we first checked in, we never had trouble finding a spot right next to the house. Whether you intend to spend time in the water as we did or use it as a base to explore Calabria, this is an great place.

There is no direct access to the sea but within walking distance there are the most beautiful beaches on the Costa degli Dei. p.s. remember to bring or buy everything you need for the kitchen and bathroom (salt, oil, detergent, foam bath, etc., etc., which are not available), which are not available).

This must be the best location in all of Tropea for the VIEW!! It’s simply breathtaking and there is a very large terrace to enjoy your morning coffee and evening wine. The apartment is nice, clean, and as described. Adriano is an excellent host and communicates very well. 100% recommend!

We were glad to find Antonio’s place at the last moment. The place felt right at home. Exactly what we wanted. A peaceful place to stay with nature. The place has a sea view over the olive trees. Parking is on site with plenty of space. Train station is within walking distance (a plus). Antonio was very responsive and let us in the apartment earlier than we expected. Grazie mille Antonio! È stato un piacere!!!

Maria’s home fit well for our family of 7. The highlight was the brilliant views of the Mediterranean Sea and direct access to a picturesque beach. I recommend having a car for day trips to Tropea and other towns in Calabria. Maria’s communication was excellent too.

Lovely location and felt right at home. The house has gorgeous views and a wonderful sitting area on the terrace. The apartment is spaciously laid out with each bedroom having its own bathroom. I would recommend staying here. Parking is not right at the apartment because the house is wedged off the street so you will have to carry your bags either up or down the street, but get used the hills! Pizzo is amazing!

Alessia is the most enthusiastic host I have met, the place provided everything we needed and was a good transit station to Sicily.

Alexei’s place is fantastic and exactly as depicted in the Airbnb listing. The location is ideal, with the beach within walking distance in either direction. The area is well-equipped with pharmacies, grocery stores, bodegas, convenience stores, and souvenir shops just a few steps away from the apartment. We dined at restaurants recommended by Alexei and found them to be excellent. The Airbnb provides beach chairs, an umbrella, a floater, beach hats, a fish net, and a laundromat. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there's a dining table on the patio with a breathtaking view of the ocean, sunsets, and sunrises. The house is air-conditioned and stocked with snacks, drinks, alcohol, towels, and toiletries. It's truly a wonderful place to stay. Definitely will stay there again!

We really enjoyed our stay in Pizzo, in Maria's apartment, who was an exceptional host, adorable, responsive, understanding, especially when we arrived with a day of difference following a "misadventure" in Rome, she welcomed us with milk and cakes to comfort the children. The apartment is very large, with all the necessities for the kitchen, linens, 2 bathrooms, and 2 bedrooms, the equipment was perfect, and not to mention the essential air conditioning during the summer. The pool was very nice, and the beach within walking distance 300 meters. The residence was very quiet, ideal for our family. And in addition, a glacier close to the residence "Gelataria Enrico" to taste their artisanal and local ice cream, the "tartufo di Pizzo" which are a treat. The best cities to visit and beaches are Tropea, Scilla (Chianalea village), Pizzo, Reggio Calabria. Thanks again Maria for this stay, we highly recommend her apartment.

The view from the balcony was wonderful! The pictures of this apartment don’t do it justice. The balcony was big enough for two to enjoy coffee or wine. Really felt like a local but had enough restaurants around. Everything was walkable up and down hill. The apartment was not so big, but very comfortable for two. Can’t say much about how the kitchen worked, because who wants to cook when so much Italian food is at your doorstep? However, we were there the day many things closed down at the beginning of November. Still, we found good places to eat. Would recommend this apartment.

We had a lovely three nights in Briatico. A very peaceful, quiet and walkable town, with a few local shops, cafe and restaurant handy to walk to. There was a small local market on the day after our arrival. Also well placed to visit Tropea and Capo Vaticano. Pietro was great with helpful recommendations. He explained everything thoroughly and was at hand for a few minor things that were rectified almost immediately! The apartment was spotless with touches to make it feel more homely. We were also welcomed very thoughtfully with a bottle of local wine, and local oranges and lemons, together with some breakfast goodies and local coffee. Thankyou Pietro for allowing us to share your home.

Comfortable apartment only flaw that has only one bathroom. But we knew that. Otherwise, very satisfied with everything very close to the sea and more than a few restaurants and a very good ice cream shop. Pizzo Calabro is a beautiful town. Definitely GO BACK.
