Yatsugatake and trek to Saku Kogen National Quasi-Park. It is a rice spot comparable to Niigata, local sake made with a thousand songs of water poured from Mt. Yatsugatake and Mt. Asama. There are "Pinkojizo", "Sueno Castle Toes" and "Nakajima Park" on the walking course. There is also a large supermarket "Tsuruya" in 15 minutes on foot, and a roadside station "Healthy Terrace Sakunami" in front of the Saku Minami IC, so you can enjoy local ingredients using home cooking utensils and seasonings. I renovated this house to comfortable satying. If you will travel with your own car (incl rental car) , to stay this house is one of the good choice. This house is located between Karuizawa and Matsumoto Castle. ---About 60minutes to both places by car. Also close to Shinkansen Station "Sakudaira" and "Ueda" ---About 30minutes to both station by car. Very close to Supermarket, Convenience store, Onsen (japaese hot springs), and local restaruant.

This Solar Energy House is in the quiet residential area 3-minutes-walk from Zenkoji-Temple. It's very comfortable, using natural material insulators.
