Holiday rentals in uMnambithi

We had an amazing time at Orchard Manor. It is quiet and private with outstanding views over Monks Cowl. It is absolutely beautiful. Our children loved the accommodation (space, trampoline) and loved the area, it's perfectly located for hiking and other activities (falconry, reptile park, valley bakery etc) On the last day my husband smashed a glass and badly cut his hand and our hosts next door cleaned up the blood and sorted him out with first aid - they were so kind, helpful and welcoming. Just to give a heads up - some of the road up is a bit rough. If you are stuck in a rubbish hire car like us, take it slow!

Kevin is a lovely host, we made as feel so welcome and was always there to great us with a warm smile. His cottage is absolutely beautiful and the view is breathtaking. We would most definitely make use of Kevin’s cottage again but next time we will bring the whole family. We had a wonderful stay

What an amazing place! The photos don’t do this place justice. Every inch of the cave has been carefully crafted. It’s so beautiful and the artistry is so impressive. Beyond the way it looks, it’s also very well equipped with everything you need for your stay. We honestly couldn’t recommend the Airbnb more!

What a beautiful little gem in the middle of the valley overlooking the river, waterfall, mountain and hills. It's the ideal location to switch off and recharge. High clearance vehicle is very much recommended to get there from the main road, but our host Rick was a fabulous navigator, help and general tour guide. We absolutely recommend you visit with friends / family. Thank you for a wonderful breakaway and experience.

We loved every minute of the stay. We could have stayed for a whole month. We really appreciated Dalene and Hans’ help and fresh baked rusks and cookies. We hiked everyday, went the furthest and highest than ever, views are spectacular and everything that we need was in close proximity. Thank you Hans and Dalene for a special week and we will for sure be back as soon as possible!

Spacious house and garden with beautiful surroundings. Friendly and responsive host.

Beautiful surroundings, creates a peaceful atmosphere. Each room has its own fully equipped en suite bathroom, often overlooked but comes in quite handy when there’s 8 individuals.

Would highly recommend Celtis Cottage. The house is set on a tranquil hilltop with a striking view of Bellpark dam and the Drakensberg mountains. It is in an excellent location for day-hikes, with Blue Grotto, the Sphinx and Monks Cowl being rather close by. The house is well-equipped and has everything you need. I happen to be one of those people who bring their own pans, spatulas, sponges, cloths, knives and dish liquid. I did not need to take out any of my things, since the kitchen had everything we required and everything was in great condition. The house was clean and such a joy to spend time in. Compliments to the sophisticated decor and furnishings. Helen is the most gracious and kind host, and I am sure Celtis Cottage will see us again in the future.
