Holiday rentals with a patio in Union County

Perfectly located near campus and downtown, easy walking distance to some fun and good restaurants/beer gardens, nice and comfortable place to stay, and equipped with everything you need. Only thing to be aware of is that the bedroom on the second floor has limited privacy. You need to walk through it to get to the third floor bedroom. I would stay here again, it would be good for families, and my wife and I would stay here if it was just the two of us.

Janice and Shelby were great hosts. The space was immaculately clean and comfortable. Highly recommend if you are looking to stay in the area. It offers convenient access to Cumberland Gap National Historical Park.

Omari’s place was very clean and the aesthetics of the decor are commendable. Very comfortable and I felt at home. Very responsive. I must say that you will likely hear a couple of trains pass at about 1:50 am and almost 6:00 am but that is beyond her control. Very convenient to highways. Kitchen was adequately equipped as we cook often when booking airbnbs. Great little studio.

Beautiful house newly renovated sit behind the main house very quiet you have your own personal space. Parking at the front door all the furniture is new is newly renovated. The kitchen was amazing. It had everything I needed. The media room was a lot of fun to watch movies at night. I was sad I had to leave. I could not extend my stay because she had other bookings, but I will definitely look them up again when I’m in town.

Linda is a very attentive and gracious host! We wanted for nothing while staying there, and it was very conveniently located. It stays cool in the rooms, so this would be an especially nice summer stay.

Great stay at Michael's place. We weren't there much but when we were, it was comfortable, quiet, and restful which was what we needed. Michael was communicative and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

We took my Mother Inlaw for her 80th birthday to Norris Lake and found this beautiful condo/house listed on the site. It was a newer build and absolutely beautiful inside and decorated very nicely. The beds were comfy and plenty of space and the view sitting on the deck was very peaceful of Norris Lake. The kitchen is stocked very well as well as a coffee/beverage cart. Megan is an amazing host and was very responsive on every question that I had and responded quickly too. I would highly recommend to stay at this place and definitely worth every penny. One suggestion as we did not have a boat but you can rent a boat at the marina as well as there are golf cart rentals too at another location for rental. Thank you Megan for hosting us in your beautiful home. We definitely will be back.

I wanted to sing the song "Over the river and through the woods" as we drove along following our GPS to this hilly location through farm valleys and jutting peninsulas. Finally it was BREATHTAKING as we topped a ridge and saw our grandchildren in the driveway who were literally jumping up and down with excitement. What a beautiful lake view! The kiddos were ready for the code to get in and explore since they had already seen the kayaks, the water equipment, the fire pit and the lovely deck overlooking the lake. To say they were even happier when they saw the game room downstairs and the bunk bed room....well, they were. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us with the two king suites, and the 3 bedrooms downstairs (one of which contained those nice bunk beds.). The breeze from the high location off the lake was just right for outdoor dining with lots of patio furnishings. We enjoyed s'mores around the fire pit (brought our own bamboo sticks) after dark. Lovely!

This is our second stay at the lake house and it absolutely exceeded our expectations (again). Last year we had all sunny weather, but this year we had a little rain during the weekend which actually allowed us to take even better advantage of the house. From watching the rain from the peaceful back porch to the many board games inside, we had plenty to do. The location is private (we saw 2 people walk down the road one time) and the access to the lake cannot be beat. Katie is easily the best Airbnb host I’ve had the pleasure to work with - very proactive in communication and responsive to any questions. I could go on and on, but just trust me when I say, this house is an absolute gem.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! Lots of room to have family time (card games, movies, etc.) Kitchen was stocked with the essential utensils needed. Very clean. Besides the bar top separating the kitchen from the living area, the only dining table was outside (which is great for the warmer months) but with the temps in the teens we brought one from the lower deck inside - which worked just fine. Plus this gave us a table to play card games. We would stay here again!!!

Nice family home with nice decor and touches. 2 story with a basement with bed, pull out couch and futon. 3 rooms with beds on 1st level. There was a walk in shower upstairs and tub shower on the first floor. Nice kitchen with toaster oven, Filtered fridge water and ice. Host was super speedy with replies and very accommodating. He even let us use 5 camping chairs. Home is surrounded by lake but inlet behind home is not accessible down wooded hill and full of branches. About a 10 min walk to get into lake so turned out fine and we always got the area to ourselves.

Our stay at this Airbnb on Norris Lake was absolutely fantastic! The house is brand new, and it shows in every detail. From the moment we stepped inside, we were impressed by the immaculate cleanliness and pristine condition of the property. Everything in the house felt fresh and untouched, making our stay incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. The attention to detail in the cleaning and presentation was truly remarkable. Our host, Amy, was exceptional in her communication. She was prompt, helpful, and made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Her attentiveness added an extra layer of comfort to our experience. The location on Norris Lake is ideal for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the area. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay or a more attentive host. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Norris Lake!

We returned to Knoxville again for the Big Ears music festival. Scott’s place was a calm, cozy and pretty respite from the hubbub of downtown, and the high-stimulation of the fest. Loved the backyard space, comfortable beds and nice bedroom. Being walking distance to downtown was a big selling point, and we found the neighborhood to be historic, quiet and with added amenities for busy travelers (like a couple fancy coffee shops). Scott was super responsive and a great communicator, and even kindly repaired a Keurig machine for our use. Would definitely return to Scott’s place on future visits to Knoxville! Thanks for being a great host, Scott!

Went to Knoxville for the Big Ears Music Festival and this place was in a perfect location with a beautiful view of the river and bridge. It is a basement apartment in an old building, so it lacks some light and has some of the quirks and noises to be expected. Was a perfect place to stay for our purposes; we would stay again.

I stayed here for a little over five weeks and it was perfect. Walkable, clean, easy to find, great instructions for check-in and impeccable communication. There were a lot of convenient things in the condo I hadn’t even thought to bring/buy myself like a first aid kit, coffee and creamer for the Keurig, fabric steamer, detergent if you need to do laundry, and power strips to charge all your devices at once. Whether you are staying short term for perhaps a game on campus or longer term like I was you’ll have everything you need. If I sit and really try to pick over something to critique, I honestly cannot think of anything. I had a great time and if I had the chance to book this spot again for my next trip to Knoxville, I would do so without hesitation.

Julie was a fantastic host. Communication was proactive and prompt. The place was very clean and well stocked. The apartment is close to the highway, which you can hear at night, but there’s a white noise machine and ear plugs available in each bedroom to ensure a good nights sleep. The location of the apartment is by Old Town and the Town Square, which has lots of great restaurants, coffee shops, and venues a short walk away. I’d highly recommend staying here for a visit to Knoxville.

This apartment was a good place to stay for the money. It’s located in an older apartment complex, but it was quiet and felt safe. Host was responsive and helpful. Apartment was clean and comfortable.

The apartment was so charming and spacious! Beds were comfy, showers worked great. We were there for the big ears music festival and the location worked well for that. The closest restaurant is a dopo pizza which is some of the best I’ve ever had - but make a reservation! The only things I would mention are that there is no dining table and with 4 people, eating together was a little uncomfortable. Also, a couple of times all of the parking places were taken. It wasn’t too hard to find a spot on the street though. All in all, totally recommend!

The location had amazing views of the mountains and the surrounding area making it relaxing and peaceful. Sitting on the deck with coffee and listening to the distant rooster, turkeys in a nearby field, cattle on a nearby hill and the spring sounds of various birds couldn’t be beat. The unit was away from the congested areas yet fairly close to restaurants, shopping and activities. It is a quiet neighborhood - conducive to restful and uninterrupted sleep. The unit was clean and well supplied and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of extra bedding and blankets. Carol was very responsive to communication and provided nice restaurant suggestions. We would definitely recommend this rental! One thing to note is that the driveway and entrance is on an incline that may be a challenge for people with mobility issues.
