We visited Michael’s place for a long weekend stay and had a wonderful time! Quiet, peaceful, safe location with beautiful river views. The location was perfect — far enough out of town to feel out of the way but close enough for easy access. Clean and comfortable, overall a fantastic stay.

Great location in Lake Placid and is within walking distance to great restaurants, shopping and Mirror Lake. The views of the mountains are really wonderful. The house is clean and well stocked. It exceeded our expectations will definitely come back again.

I couldn't recommend this place more! My cousins and I had a great time and Uli is super attentive. The hot tub has a great view of the lake, it was also salt water which I love. The space was extremely cozy and exactly what we needed. We snowboarded pico and killington and it was about a 25-30 minute ride. We will for sure be back! Thank you guys so much!

Highly recommended space and host! Kurt is hands down an A+ super host! We arrived in Burlington in the evening with having another Airbnb reservation that we found not to be a good fit for us! Frantically searching for other Airbnb accommodations for the night, several hosts had availability but showed no urgency to help us. Kurt literally stopped what he was doing to go and turn lights and heat on for us. He also left water, a couple beers, and creamer in the fridge for our morning coffee, which too was provided. The space is exactly how it was pictured. Clean, uncluttered, and beautiful! Kurt’s place has great location in a charming quiet neighborhood with driveway parking. Comfortable bed and great water pressure in the shower was also great to have! Finding this place last minute was the cherry on top of our amazing Burlington experience….and we will be back! Words cannot express how beautiful the cabin and property are. Everything is perfect. It’s the perfect location for a ski/board trip to Gore. The cabin is nestled on a hill, totally secluded. Very private location. The property has a trail which has a stream trickling by. Everything in the cabin works. You’ll need food, that’s about it. If your lucky to find this place open to rent, well then your lucky.

A Magical Cabin Experience Our stay at this rustic cabin captivated us from the start. The warm exterior lighting at night created a fairytale ambiance. Spacious and beautifully decorated, the cabin featured a large stone fireplace for cozy evenings. Authentic yet modern wooden interiors, clean and well-maintained, provided everything we needed. The kitchen and dining area were perfect for relaxation. Stepping outside at night, we were amazed by the stunningly clear sky and even caught a glimpse of Orion’s Belt. The outdoor deck and seating area offered peaceful surroundings. I highly recommend this cabin for a relaxing retreat. Whether you’re a couple seeking romance or a family wanting quality time, it has it all.

This was my first time staying at Ken’s beautiful home on Minerva Lake. When I walked inside I was in awe. The interior home is stunning. A large dining room table was off to the side of the living room and we loved gathering around the table to do watercolor paintings. The bedrooms are comfy and cute. Little details around the house like nightlights and paintings are so sweet. Everything we needed was there for us. The kitchen was cute and we enjoyed cooking our meals and making salads. The fire pit outside was also lots of fun. We made s’mores and we were hoping to see the Northern Lights but unfortunately they didn’t come down south far enough, but we still had fun. The house is extremely comfortable and inviting. We loved our stay and look forward to coming back. Thanks Ken for everything. Lori.

We fell in love with the cabin and area. Our larger family does a snowboarding trip every year and while we try to go to different places we all loved Shannon's home, Gore mountain and the local surrounding towns. We are already planning a return. The home was impeccably furnished, squeaky clean and had a ton of activities to do, inside and out. It was so lovable it was tough to leave.
