Apartment holiday rentals in Upper Franconia

We loved our stay in Greta’s apartment. It’s a self-contained apartment on the first floor; it’s about 15 minutes on the bus into the centre of Bayreuth, and around 30 mins to the Festspielhaus. (We walked back from the Festspielhaus one evening which took about 1.5 hours - a nice walk). There’s a good supermarket with an excellent bakery attached to it about 5-10 mins walk away. The apartment is very comfortable, clean and peaceful - with a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely balcony. While my friend was in the main bedroom, I slept in the work room on the sofa bed - which was comfortable and cosy so is a great second bedroom. There was coffee, tea, chocolate and a bottle of wine when we arrived which was a nice touch. Greta was very kind, even giving us lifts to the theatre and to the train station. She has a genuine warmth and it was a pleasure to meet her, and to stay in her apartment. Highly recommended!

it was a fantastic place for one person to stay. i could walk to all shopping, sights and restaurants in 10 minutes. it's also very close to the Orthopäde clinic. The room was comfortable and had everything necessary. Altan was so friendly and helpful! He went above and beyond in communication. i can 100% reccomend staying here!

This was Dagmar's second stay and again everything was wonderful. Everything very clean, tidy, at the same time cozy and everything you need. Dagmar and her husband are very friendly and helpful. Absolute recommendation, we would come again again!

We had a really nice time and for hikes in the Thuringian Forest the accommodation was perfect. Nothing was missing.

As with the last stay, everything is great. Just the right place for an extended weekend in Bayreuth :)! This time I had an e-bike with me. This really helps you on the last few meters to the apartment when you come out of town;)...

Very nice place to stay. Comfortable and clean.

My dog and I felt right at home. Just arrived, right on the edge of the field. Unfortunately, I did not meet Christine in person, but the exchange and communication was very nice, friendly and accommodating. Every question was answered directly, the response time is almost seconds fast:) The only downside to the place was that we hadn't booked longer. We didn't want to leave 🥰

Jutta and Herbert were great hosts. They have often asked if everything is okay or if something is missing. The apartment is large, there is plenty of selection of dishes. You can sit and relax in the courtyard on warm days. There are two lovely cats, one is very intimate. On cold days, the heater runs. Worth seeing is in the Plauen area ('' Father and Son figures), the August Horch Museum in Zwickau, the German-German Museum in Mödlareuth and the Botanical Garden in Hof. For bird watchers, the Plothener ponds and the untreusee are recommended. I can fully recommend this apartment!

The place in Nankendorf in Franconian Switzerland was really very nice and cozy. The rooms were really lovingly decorated, and we felt very comfortable. I love the little homegym upstairs and the sun terrace :) The hosts were very warm and attentive 💜 The location is ideal to enjoy the beautiful nature and explore the surroundings. A really successful stay, which we wholeheartedly recommend :) thank you again dear Tanja for everything, we will certainly be back 💜💜

If you want a little break from stressful everyday life, this is the place to be. Mr. Ulm is very friendly and helpful and you can tell that he and his wife have given a lot of thought to make your stay as pleasant and relaxing as possible. Here is especially the "mini supermarket" where you can find everything you need for a short break (e.g. hot rolls, noodles, coffee, etc.). Even if you don't feel like cooking yourself, there are catering dishes from a local catering company that can be easily prepared in the oven and taste great, without any artificial ingredients. In addition to the living area, there is the separate spa area. Here, too, there is a lot of love for detail such as homemade scrubs and sauna infusions, so you can spend some relaxing hours here. All in all, we enjoyed it very much and we will definitely be back.

Wonderful apartment in Bad Elster. Perfect location - walking distance to parks and bakery, surrounded by forest with beautiful starry skies at night. The host was attentive, and all our needs were met. Great for groups and very comfortable. Fresh air and peaceful surroundings made our stay truly enjoyable. very nice apartment with two great bedrooms and small but well-equipped kitchen. Pleasant and stylishly furnished on the upper floor of the house. Parking on the property is no problem and additional arrangements with Sylvia were quick and easy. great sauna in the basement of the apartment, which can be used for an acceptable extra charge. Beautifully located on the outskirts of Plauen.

100% worth the stay, in a fairly well equipped and homely apartment. Very suitable for 5 people, and enough privacy for all. Dinesh is a friendly, professional and hospitable person, being flexible with our unplanned late check-in and was very responsive via phone. One thing we would've liked to know beforehand is that the accommodation is on the 2nd floor with no elevator, since we were travelling with someone with limited mobility. That said, overall very comfortable stay. Highly recommend!
