Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Uva Province

One of the best stays I've had in Sri lanka. Very comfortable, great upstairs "cinema", staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Very peaceful and just what the doctor ordered.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this villa! The view was absolutely breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The staff were amazing—always attentive, friendly, and responsive to all our requests, including accommodating the needs of our toddler, which we greatly appreciated. A standout feature of our stay was the amazing cocktails! They were expertly crafted and added a special touch to our evenings as we enjoyed the stunning scenery. Additionally, the staff guided us to a beautiful local waterfall, where we had a fantastic time exploring and enjoying nature. It was a memorable highlight of our trip. The only area for improvement is the food. While it was decent, we’d love to see more fresh vegetables included in the menu to enhance the dining experience. Overall, it was a delightful stay, and we’d definitely recommend this villa for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat with top-notch hospitality, and opportunities to explore local beauty

“It’s the people who matter. Caretaker Mark and his family made us feel home from the instant we reached this place. These were some of the most humble people I’ve ever met. I was traveling with a 2yr old who wasn’t feeling well, Mark got medicines for us even late in the night. One of the highlight was the bonfire and dinner setup around it which made the stay extra special for us. The homecooked food was so amazing that we ended up eating at home on all days! Staywise- The villa is not luxurious but is functional. Location is at the centre with most attractions nearby.

It was the best place we stayed in Sri-Lanka. The staff were the nicest people, very helpful. We stayed in many places, but this one is something special. Great place, great view, location and staff. They even have the big book with hundreds of reviews inside. Like old school stile. The place is really authentic (in the good way) Highly recommended!

Honestly can’t say enough good things about this cabin. My partner and I came here for a few weeks to work digitally and enjoy some relaxing, isolated time in nature — that’s exactly what we got! The mountain views here are breathtaking no matter the time of day, and taking strolls through the surrounding tea fields provides even more beautiful scenery. It’s a long way from town and up a huge mountain, but you can easily order a Tuk Tuk or rent a scooter in Badulla. This makes it a perfect place to tune out the world for a while and tune into yourself! Sidhu is also incredibly helpful, kind, and proactive, bringing water and other supplies often. He and his wife even brought us a homemade Sri Lankan curry one day! He is always reachable and sooo lovely as a person. Overall, this place is seriously my favorite airbnb ever! 5 stars and beyond ⭐️✨⭐️✨

The house was in a conveniently located area (walking distance to Ella town) with a great view of the beautiful Ella landscape. It has a playground set for kids, excellent bird-watching, very clean rooms with comfortable beds. There was a cozy common area and a lovely separate dining area. Although the internet was slow, the adapted outlets were plentiful which was helpful for those from out of country. The host was responsive and informative. The caretaker, Keerthi was very friendly and helpful. All in all, it was a great stay!

This is the most beautiful place I have visited in Sri Lanka!! The location is SO serene and beautiful. Lush vegetation, surrounded by mountains and waterfalls nearby. The road was quite good to get to the homestay, More than all of this Wasantha and her husband are greatly hospitable. She made the BEST local authentic food with home grown vegetables and fruits. Then we went to the local waterfalls, where you can even get a free fish massage in the water! You can exhaust your camera roll taking pictures here!! All I can just say, "Absolutely Amazing!!!!!", "Memorable!!"

The food is all prepared by his wife and is absolutely delicious. We took a cooking lesson with her, which was well worth doing. If you’re looking for a quiet secluded place, which is close to Ella I would recommend staying here.

Wow this place is incredible. Supun met us near Hetipola to tuk tuk us to the exact location as it is not accessible by car. It is set in a stunning natural area, in view of a rice paddy and a 2 minute walk to a beautiful lake. Supun himself was so friendly and helpful. His communication before and during the trip was excellent. He has great knowledge of the local area and wildlife and involves and supports the local community in the optional activities he provides. We asked if Supun could prepare meals for us, he gave us the prices in advance and sourced some of the most delicious local foods we have had on our trip. Supun helped to organise our onward travel which was super convenient for us too. The vehicle was great and the driver too. Overall it was one of our favourite parts of Sri Lanka. Very "off the beaten track" immersed in nature and Supun himself was great.
