Our house is a detached one story house- therefor easily accessible and is placed in a nice and quiet area in "Tvøroyri", the lagest town on the island "Suðuroy". This beautiful island is the southernmost of the Faroe Islands. The surroundings are peaceful and mostly surrounded by beautiful mountains and fjords. The house has 3 bedrooms - 2 double beds, 2 single beds and 1 double sofabed. 2 bathrooms with shower. A livingroom, a kitchen, a scullery, an entrance and a balcony. WIFI and cableTV.

Bay Cottage

A quiet placed in by a quiet bay at the countryside. There is no public transport. The road to our place is a narrow road up the hill towards the mountain Beinisvør. By the town Lopra (before the tunnel to Sumba) you turn right. "Um Hestin". Before the top of the hill, turn left: Víkabyrgi. Our house is the last one on your left side. Only 50 meters from the ocean. Ground floor: Bathroom, bedroom, livingroom/kitchen. Stairs to the top - two open bedrooms. (see pictures) Ferry info on: ssl.fo

Luxury cottage in stunning surroundings.

Luxury 2022 cottage in beautiful surroundings with stunning views, located in a secluded place with incredible wildlife. You can meet hares right outside the house, and birds build nests around the grasslands. There are 12 beds in the house, plus 2 travel beds for toddlers, but plenty of room for extra mattresses on the floor. From July 2023 it is possible to rent access to the jacuzzi for 6 people for an additional fee. 1000kr for 1 day, the following days it costs 500kr per day.

south point ocean view

Dette hyggelige hus ligger på det sydligste punkt på Færøerne, med uforstyrret havudsigt. Huset ligger så tæt på havet at man bliver vugget i søvn til lyden af havets bølger. Sumba er en meget smuk lille bygd med en flot lille strand og en ny stor legeplads. 15. minutters kørsel fra Sumba ligger Vágur, hvor der er mulighed for shopping, sportsaktiviteter og restauranter. Her finder du også Færøernes første og eneste 50 m svømmehal samt en multihal med bl.a. 13,5 m høj klatrevæg.

"Petursborg" luxury in Vágur

Luxury Villa Peter Dahl built "Petursborg" (Peter's Castle) in 1907 when he was the mayor of Vágur. Peter was a visionary man with a pioneer spirit. Among many projects he established the local bank, built the road through the village and was also deeply involved in the first hydro electric plant in the Faroe Island, located in Vágur. The entire house was renovated from 2022 to 2024 and is today a beautiful old style house with a modern touch.

"The Little Yellow House" can also be rented for one night

Traditional older Faroese house (cozy atmosphere) in nice surroundings with good views of the fjord. 10 meters to the boat bridge where you can fish from, access to canoe and rowboat (at your own risk) 5 min. walk from supermarket. 15 min. walk from Tvøroyri. 10 min. walk to with good opportunities for trout/salmon fishing etc. Fishing equipment is available for free use. Close to hiking trails. (Here can "visit Suðuroy" be helpful")

Suduroy, luxury and cozy house with sea view

My traditional Faroese house is located on the southern island, Sudoroy, surrounded by breathtaking nature with public transportation right by the door. The 2 hour ferry trip to the island, return ticket about 11 euro and 37 euro with car, is beautiful. Newly renovated house decorated stylish and simple with danish designs. Beautiful sea and mountains view from all rooms.

Peaceful boathouse with a view

We renovated this old boathouse recently. There is rowingboat available as well. It is the family’s boat. The house offers you a peacefull sanctuary to collect your thoughts. 5 minutes walking distance to groceryshopping. Bus stop to the rest of the island is oposite the house as well. There is a bed for two people and a couch that also can fit two people
