I spend a whole month, together with my dog, in this lovely serene place to write. Vezelay and its surroundings inspired me enormous and help me to unlock my creativity. The. house is cosy and has a wood stove that is so romantic. At sunny days I could use a little patio to sit in the sun. Philippe and Francois really welcomed me into their live and shared tips, friends, stories and food with me. They really took good care of me, making sure I had enough wood pellets for the wood stove. An experience I will treasure for life. Esther

Gîte de La Bascule

Dominique, the owner of the Gíte, gave us a very warm welcome. She speaks excellent German, and has explained everything to us, what, and how we can find things in the area. We were invited by her and her, also very nice, husband to an aperitif. We felt very comfortable in the super-clean Gìte. There is everything you need. The kitchen is well equipped, so you could also cook if you want. We will certainly spend our vacation there again if our age and health still allow us. E.&F. Loos with H. Brenner

A beautiful and quiet place. Anaïs and Vivien are perfect hosts and we thank you for the visit and discovery of the brewery! The rooms are very large and the living room is extraordinarily large which is perfect for a large group. In summer it must be even better (we came in November)!!!

We had a wonderful family Christmas, in a warm house, where you feel at home very quickly. We arrived late, and found a warm house, with Christmas trees, a decorated house, very clear explanations everywhere, small welcome gifts that everyone enjoyed with happiness! Christmas preparation was facilitated by quick, very detailed communication and the kindness of Dominique and Anne Sophie. I highly recommend it, we'll be happy to come back, and will enjoy the outdoors if it's in the spring.

On the island: an enchanting place to "pause"

We were 5 couples for a weekend with friends and we had a great time! The house is beautiful, the setting is very peaceful, the house is equipped with everything you need and is very comfortable even for 10 people. Frédéric and Isabelle were adorable, they recommended the activities to do in the surrounding area and Frédéric showed us around the oil factory with lots of anecdotes. We'll be back for sure! It's not a place we forget:)

We had a great weekend with friends in Mhers. Hervé and Colette's cottage is extremely well equipped, comfortable and above all located in an incomparable setting. Hervé and Colette were very available and welcoming, the flexible arrival made it possible to adapt to everyone's constraints while staying in regular contact. We will be happy to come back!

Spacious house, with large beds which is very comfortable when we are used to 180. Very well-equipped kitchen, comfortable living room and dining room as well, large garden with swing much appreciated by our children. The location is a good point too. I would 100% recommend! The hosting was very warm, the house is as presented and really nice. The bedding is comfortable and you feel good there. We'd love to go back in the future!
