Holiday rentals in Vale de Vargo

This stay has probably been the best AirBnB experience we have had so far. The little private cabin on the property is as clean and as tastefully furnished as the main house and all the shared places. We enjoyed the secluded location, the lake nearby (2 min walk) and all the nature around. Filipa, Luís and the rest of their family made us feel welcomed and right at home. It‘s a place that offers both: you can be by yourself and relax in silence and you can also have some lovely company and good talks and laughs at the dinner table. If you like either one or both it is the ideal AirBnB!

Miguel's house was very nice, clean and spacious. The amenities were great, especially the bikes. We really enjoyed the fireplace. Gil was our host and was very helpful and responsive.

Hard not to fall in love with this place. Everything one could dream of. It’s a very relaxed environment with two very cool humans, whom which have built a little town of their own if you don’t say! We were lucky enough to have a little tour of the place, hear about how it all started. Went horseback riding with Chris which was incredo. Swam in the pond, sat in the sauna but mostly just enjoyed the view. And hung out with the doggos. Thank you. Will definitely come again when I return to Portugal.

It's been a very good experience. The house is the same as the listing. Asun was lovely and communication with her was great.

Nice stay, with everything you need at hand both in the house and in surrounding services, Marilo had the detail to leave us a village bread on arrival and they are details that make the difference.

The house has all the amenities and much more than those described in the listing. Unfortunately, we caught one of the rainy days, but the lodge did not lose its charm. The peace is unparalleled and the outer area is amazing! We were able to have some meals on the street and it was really delicious. It could not help highlighting the decoration of the house, which mixes modern elements with older ones and makes us feel at home. We had a setback and the landlord was very helpful and helped us quickly. I strongly advise you to visit the bonnet house!

The check in was super flexible and easy. The house was impeccable and well prepared to receive so many people. During one of the nights we had a problem with the water, sent a sms ap sebastiaan and it appeared in 10 minutes to solve it and solved it! Thank you very much

it is fantastically beautiful & the cottage is kept very simple but just the right thing to slow down. The nights were particularly nice - outside on the terrace (walled👍) there were always starry nights. The moon lights up over the mountains & you feel safe & well connected despite the detached environment. Always used 30 min. to the sea & supermarket 8 min.. Car ride away. Perfect for driving down the tempo & volume completely. thank you to the great hosts 🔆😘🫶

There were six of us staying at this wonderful place for two nights and can only say: It was just wonderful! Miguel welcomed us warmly, and already upon our arrival, all the rooms were pleasantly heated, while the fire burned happily. Immediately we felt like home. We particularly enjoyed the time in the spacious living room, where we played many games of billiards. The space is just perfect for social hours. It was especially nice to go to the garden in the morning and pick fresh oranges, pomegranates or lemons from the trees – a real highlight! Another plus: The car could be parked right next to the property. One small point I would like to note is the address. This was only communicated to us after booking and was not quite correct at first. Since we had a journey of two hours, this could still be clarified in time, as Miguel was very quick to respond to our request. Thank you!
