Holiday rentals in Vänern

Very nice stay. We were welcomed super nicely and felt immediately comfortable. The view is just beautiful. Perfect for relaxing and bathing. We didn't sleep better anywhere.

The house was large, with two lovely large bathrooms and good beds/mattresses. The kitchen was well equipped and with a good fireplace. The house is located with a beautiful view of a water and you see an old church at the end of the water. Lovely beautiful, peaceful and harmonious view. Nice hiking opportunities in the woods right on the other side of the road. Very nice little hike through the forest with irr green moss, and a lovely view of water, forest and sky at the top. If we had more time, we should have walked more along possibly around the water and looked at the cute Swedish living rooms and farms around the water. We stayed at one of Mattias's cabins in October and it was in a wonderful location and super cozy! The views are amazing, right on the beach, and it's comfortable and snug. The cabins are such good value compared to a hotel room and much more practical for a family of 4. Beds are comfortable, shower is good, the cabin was nice and warm (good heating system that can be adjusted). Smart TV so we could watch our own Netflix. Sadly the weather was rubbish so we couldn't sit outside, but still a 5/5- highly recommend!

Fredrik's home was a joy! The expansive view across Lake Vänern included bird life, small boats and magnificent sunsets. We felt right at home - the kitchen was well equipped, the living area was cozy and the bedrooms were comfortable. Outdoors, we enjoyed it all - the dock and small row boat, the sauna and hot tub. Fredrik's home was private, impeccably clean, uncluttered and filled with natural light. We also discovered many tranquil, easy trails in the surrounding area that took us to other points along the lake. Some of the trails were even within walking distance of Fredrik's home. Groceries, local restaurants and a few cafés were only 15-30 minutes away by car. Coming from Annapolis, Maryland in the USA, some of the hikers we met on the trails asked why were in this part of Sweden. Our answer was easy - it's a magical area and we loved staying in Fredrik's place!

What a location!! Perfect hideaway for the most relaxing time, away from everyone and everything. We absolutely loved our stay. The panoramic sauna & enormous jacuzzi were a dream. We love cooking & the kitchen had everything we needed, wíth the most amazing views on the lake. As a music lover it was very nice to find high quality Sonos speakers throughout the house. Daniel answered every question we had immediately. And his father welcomed us very kindly. Great place to stay!

Well planned and very cozy cabin near the lake. The garden had plenty of room for activities for the kids. Henrik was very easily accessible when we had questions about directions and other things. We were there over a weekend but would have loved to stay longer!

We had a fantastic weekend in Humletorp. It was quiet, peaceful and just what we wanted. The accommodation was clean and fresh, Grace was a communicative, helpful and professional host, who had also fixed a nice welcome basket upon arrival. Can recommend the place to anyone!

Second New Year here, and we got snow again. Really tranquil place and beautiful. Nice trails to walk.
