Nice apartment in central Fontainebleau location

A small corner is paradise with lots of details and an exquisite taste to delight the environment.

The accommodation is very well located to enjoy walks in the forest and the edge of the Seine, close to Fontainebleau and the train station. The view is beautiful: on one side the forest and the Seine on the other. Hélène has very tastefully decorated the apartment which is very well equipped. The house is beautiful and we had a very pleasant time with the family. Ideal for 4 people, we enjoyed the calmness of the place. A true haven of peace. The forest is within walking distance and we discovered many hikes there. A big thank you to Hélène for hosting, responsiveness and adaptability. A place to book with your eyes closed.

It was even more beautiful than in the pictures. And you can literally walk outside and go hiking, there is a lovely terrase, and the kitchen is well stocked. Also, very convenient to get to from Paris. 1h00 train ride that only costs 2.5 euros. Will come back.

We spent several days in Laurence's very nice, cozy and quiet apartment. Check-in was easy and hassle-free thanks to the exact description. We arrived in the evening and it was typically still quite cool for March. That's why we were particularly grateful that our hostess had already preheated the apartment. The decor and kitchen are very tasteful and nothing was lacking. The bed is very comfortable and we slept well on it. The view of the Seine through the floor-to-ceiling windows and balcony is fantastic and the surroundings offer many possibilities for beautiful excursions. We really want to come back again, then for longer. We highly recommend this place to other guests.

We had a great stay at this charming house just off the main street in Barbizon. Really enjoyed the ability to walk to many different shops and into the forest. Jean-René was a very helpful and highly communicative host and we would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely charming and welcoming accommodation. Didier was very forward-thinking and we felt right at home. A real weekend of disconnection in the heart of nature.

We arrived after inadvertently spending a night in Paris, and it was the perfect antidote to a stressful city experience. Very clean and simple, and it was an incredibly peaceful place to be. Not really many options for eating in the area (places that showed as open on Google were closed), which is my only complant about the location - but there is a walkable grocery shop that frankly had better ready-meals than what we can even find in restaurants at home (in the UK). The house was absolutely a major part of our 'experience' while we were there, and I was really pleased with how nice (and well-maintained) it was.

A personal, cozy and beautifully furnished cottage, with a good and quiet location for activities in the beautiful forest of Fontainebleau. Particularly recommended is also the bakery within walking distance. Communication with Remi and Catherine is very straightforward, helpful and friendly. We will be happy to come back.

Our stay went great, we found ourselves with children and grandchildren in an idyllic and Olympian quiet place. Great stay to renew with family.

This is the second time we stayed here and it was great. This year we took our dog which was no problem at all. The park-like garden the studios/houses are set in is gorgeous. Connection to the boulders and to the train station a super comfortable. Plus, you are right at the Seine. If possible, we'll be back again

We came to spend the weekend with friends to enjoy the proximity to the climbing areas of Fontainebleau and we were very satisfied with Sandy's place! The living room is very nice and we did not lack anything! I highly recommend this listing!

Everything was excellent here, the flat was exactly as described and very well equipped. Communication and response times also very good. This is a great apartment in a quiet and pleasant location and Tristan is very helpful. Highly recommended.

We stayed for almost 2 months and we loved the proximity from all shops, the Chateau and forest while also being in a very relaxed and quiet place. We had a lovely time in Fontainebleau. Apartment is nice and well suited for a family with 2 kids. Just the garage is quite small and we could barely fit our Renault small SUV and we could not close the garage door either.

If you're a rock climber, Thibault's place is lovely! He had some guidebooks and crash pads for us to use. His place is also near a lot of climbing and forest trails are just across the street. Barbizon is only a short jaunt away with good food options and even more if you have a car to drive to Fontainebleau. A very nicely decorated space and comfortable.
