Beach house holiday rentals in Ventura

The location of this house was perfect for a ladies’ birthday trip! Right by the ocean and so close to nice restaurants, shops, hiking, and down town SB. We loved Montecedo and were so grateful to find this gem of a house. Perfect sitting area in the living room and the outside spaces.

A great place to gather the family both near and far for Christmas. Very easy to get to some great beaches, restaurants, the Malibu Pier and Adamson house, canyon hike.

Perfect location for a quiet stay and a Moro walk to the beach. The home was very comfortable, relaxing and clean. We loved the different areas of the yard for sitting and enjoying the sunshine. The fire pit was so nice to sit around and just relax. The beds were comfy. Everything was fantastic, we enjoyed our stay!

Our family’s stay in Santa Barbara was made so comfortable by this lovely home! It was so well equipped with all the kitchen and bath necessities, and it was so pleasant to look out toward the mountains while relaxing in the open living space. The location was so convenient and walkable to the beach, to State St., to 101, and to food markets and many dining options. The train made minimal noise on a predictable schedule and we enjoyed watching it come and go! We easily explored Santa Barbara from this easy and pleasant home base. The location is great and the ocean view from the balcony and living room was my absolute favorite part. The bed and couch were comfortable and the place was clean and quiet.

This home was just as described in terms of the space itself, location, contents, amenities and was perfect for our family of 5 adults and one toddler. The kitchen was equipped with everthing we needed, far more than I've seen in other Airbnbs. It was nice having everyone on one floor and not having to contend with staircases. I love old homes and their character. It, of course, was updated with the conveniences we would expect for today's living, but there was a lot of charm captured with wall hangings of the era it was built in and Rudolf Valentino, its original occupant. My only regret was that our stay was at the end of chilly December and not during the warmer months when we could more fully enjoy the beach, but we knew that when we booked it. We plan to return in season!

Was in town for work and Meredith’s place seemed like the right fit and it definitely was. Cozy and spacious. Steps away from the beach too which was a plus!

This house is beautiful, clean and is full of amenities. The view is stunning and the gardens are amazing. Only note is the walkway isn’t good for suitcases so be prepared to carry them and not roll them to the front door. Lots of space and privacy.

Great location, hot tub and pool were really great, great family spaces. We had a great week there. Also, Melissa was very helpful in mailing me something I accidentally left behind in the house.

This is a great beach pad. It has everything you need for a perfect beach vacay. Pool. Hot tub. Great location block from the beach. So much to do. We loved our stay.

Our thoughts after walking into this home were, this place is soulful. We have had some rentals that were not so special, wondering if the pictures show you the true feel. It has a historic feel - comfortable couches and nice antiques and books peppered everywhere. The kitchen was well appointed. We were there with our family, a couple and 1 year old. Really nice for our group, very quiet as there isn’t just a wall between rooms. A third bedroom we did not use but it was nice and decent sized. The views all day were so great from the windows and the nice porch area with picnic tables and couches - intoxicating blossom smells and beautiful gardens - the pool was large and heated. You head down a little trail to the shady orchards off the hill full of avocado trees and citrus. Lots of space to walk around and enjoy nature, enjoy exploring Rincon and Carpinteria beaches and town in 5 minutes! Connie is an attentive host - lives nearby. We want to come back!!

Ardie was very responsive and extremely accommodating. We were traveling for work and it was a very charming and elegant place to come home to after days of work. All of the furnishings and features were really nice. I would to come back to the Malibou Lake cabin, the scenery is beautiful and peaceful.

This house is where you want to be!!! It is very cozy and comfortable. It has a great kitchen and we really enjoyed eating on the deck. The pool provided hours of fun for my daughters. The house backs up to a meadow where you can take magical afternoon walks. The host was very accommodating. It was the perfect spot to be. We will be back. :).

My 13 yr old daughter & I had such a wonderful stay at Heidi’s Mesa home. The pool was INCREDIBLE. (We paid to heat it) Such special memories made~night swims, morning tanning, surrounded by the walls of lush greenery, full enclosure of privacy from the neighbors. I loved taking morning hot-tubs, & also before bedtime! The king sized bed was so comfy—a sanctuary, really—& with the honor of being trusted w/such sentimental family heirlooms, eclectic collection of art & ethnic cultures, throughout the ages. An extensive library of books on a broad range of subjects was a delight to have available! The couch in the living room was ridiculously comfy. The home is an oldie, but a goodie. I can tell that the sisters who own it keep it well-maintained—tending weekly to the yard & the pool, & beginning the updating process in certain rooms. We recommend this gem to anyone (except for families w/kids who cannot swim, or babies who tend to crawl out of sight)! Location was PERFECT & quiet.

Ashley's place was perfect for a family of four. The condo is on the ground floor of Building 1 and located inside gated community. It had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. One of the bathrooms was updated with rain shower which was really nice and the overall unit was very aesthetically designed. The community club house had indoor pool, hot tub and gym. We couldn't find the sauna, however. It is located 5 minutes from the beach and pier which unlike other California beach towns, is not crowded at all and felt very private. We felt safe and relaxed.

Our stay here was delightful. The house is much bigger than expected. Kitchen is well appointed with everything I needed to cook multiple meals. The enclosed yard is enchanting. The perfect place for epic foam sword fights with your kids and room to roam for your fur family members. If you’re looking to “party” locally, it’s probably not for you. It’s quiet, peaceful and away from it all. Much thought went into the furnishing and accessories. From the bikes, wagon, sand toys, boogie boards and beach chairs in the PARK IN 2 car garage, to the abundant selection of morning coffees. Three thumbs and a paw, way up. When refilling the coffee maker, be careful pushing it back under the cupboard. The tray where the cup sits isn’t attached, it’s slides in. The tray and coffee cup on it, fell on the floor. Sorry, Lisa. I broke a cup. We enjoyed our stay very much! Unfortunately I couldn’t figure out the side gates to put the trash out front.

Tori’s place was perfect for our stay. The two bedrooms were nicely decorated and had comfortable beds. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The bathroom is very updated and pretty. We did not use them but appreciate the washer dryer tucked in hall. We felt at home. The street parking is not an issue and felt fine leaving car on the street. We didn’t get to use the outdoor area but it is also nice. It is near everything you would want to do in the South Bay.

The house is beautiful with a magnificent view of the ocean. The patio has comfortable chairs, a working hot tub and a fire pit. It was perfect for outdoor nights. And the indoor fireplace was a really pleasant surprise. And the host was very responsive and helpful! Overall, we had such a wonderful time!

I stayed Duke's house for my son's wedding at Los Verdes Golf Course. It was really beautiful house and great location. Duke was very professional and provided information to me in a timely manner. I would like to stay there again if there is any chance. Fully recommended.

Great host. Wonderful location with beautiful views. Slept every night to the sound of the waves. Very clean house with spacious balcony. Stocked very well with basic and high quality necessities. Would highly recommend!

Donna’s home is THE perfect place to stay in the South Bay/Manhattan Beach! Only 20 minutes from LAX - It’s literally steps from the beach, The Strand walking path, and dozens of restaurants & shops. The family room has the largest and coziest couch with a huge tv. The bed is honestly the most comfortable bed we’ve experienced, along with the linens and comforter (and a large tv). They also have great water pressure in the shower. All things that oddly enough are hard to find. And, the rooftop deck is amazing - unobstructed views of the ocean! Donna & Cecilia were always friendly, helpful, and timely with their communication. Don’t hesitate booking this home. We will most definitely return!

An absolutely fantastic stay! This cozy and charming home in Ventura is perfect for surfers and outdoor enthusiasts, offering easy access to the beach, bike path and breathtaking coastal views. The location is ideal, with great restaurants and local spots just a short drive or walk away. The house itself is well-maintained, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped, making it a true home away from home. Sam was an outstanding host, friendly, attentive, and incredibly responsive, ensuring our stay was seamless from start to finish. It was a pleasure to stay in such a beautiful and welcoming space. Highly recommend!

Linda's home was conveniently located, easy to get in and out of, spacious and very comfortable. I appreciated how responsive she was to all of my questions and enjoyed my morning walks on the Strand - just one block away. There were minimal asks when leaving her property which was helpful with such an early flight. Her home is next door to a mini mart which was convenient too. I enjoyed this stay and especially the patio in the rear of the home. I will definitely check to see if this property is available next time I am in LA.
