Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Vera-Playa

Probably one of the best AirBnb we've stayed in. Perfect welcome with a bottle of artisanal vermouth and garden oranges. The apartment is perfect, it feels good everywhere, better than in the photos. Christina is very present when we needed advice, restaurants, where to find very good olive oil, etc... And for golfers it's conveniently located near a beautiful golf course.

What can I say. An amazing place for us to stay with our dogs. Very flexible check in and check out. The host was very helpful indeed and made our stay very welcome. Only 4 minutes walk to the beach and the location is very pieceful. Highly recommended and we will definatley come and stay here again.

What a find this beautiful house! The house has been done, furnished and decorated with extreme eye for detail and to high standards. Very well thought out. The garden, pool and bar/bbq area is lovely, you really never have to go out, the place in itself is a retreat. I highly recommend the house for a holiday or romantic getaway. 7 stars!

The house is perfect for enjoying a few days in the area. Everything is very new and the house has all the details. Air conditioning has been vital for these hot days. The development is very quiet, the pool opens until 12:00pm at night and has a Mercadona supermarket about 200 m away. We are sure to return on our next visit to Vera Playa.

Alvaro was an excellent host and with a lovely clean home. I would definitely recommend to friends & family. Vera/Garrucha is beautiful. Easy access to beaches and towns. Thankyou Alvaro!

We had such an amazing Christmas break here at this beautiful villa, Sara and Dominic were welcoming hosts and the villa is beautiful in the most peaceful setting amongst the orange trees. The facilities are great with so many bbq space and the games room and beach tennis court as well as a kids area which our 1 year old loved. We would love to return as it is such a find we highly recommend. The surrounding areas of Vera and Mojacar are also great to visit especially Mojacar which is a stunning place to visit for sights and great food.

Lovely place to relax with ever-helpful and welcoming hosts Marie and Martyn. In 2023 my wife and I broke our journey and stayed here for 1 day. In 2024, we intentionally increased the length of our holiday so that we could break our journey with a 2-day stay here. Now we are trying to work out how we can visit for longer in 2025!

This property is in a safe and secure location and has a beautiful outlook over palm trees and the beach. The parking space for your vehicle is very close to the property so easy to access. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable with almost everything you would require to cook etc., if you wanted to. Nicholas was very quick to respond to any queries. Restaurants and the beach are within a few minutes walk. We enjoyed our stay. Be aware that when we stayed, we could hear music from the Marau Beach Club at the weekends.

Lovely apartment that had everything we needed

Pretty good accommodation. Next to the beach, chiringuitos and not far from the nightclub area. The Mercadona walk is quite far. There is a small supermarket very close. Facilities like the pools, jacuzzi, and gym are great. Highly recommended.

The apartment was clean, well furnished and as described. Dean was very helpful at checkin. Graeme and Kelly responded quickly to messages. Walk down to bars and restaurants. A bit of a short climb coming back but us 70+ managed it easily. Cheers is great for an afternoon beer and a couple of tapas. The bigger supermarkets are a 5/10 minute drive. The complex is quiet at this time of year. Perfect for us.

Well located apartment with all amenities available in a quiet urbanization. The apartment is well equipped with good decor and lots of details from the owner. It's spacious and with a terrace overlooking it. We had a very pleasant stay.

Third stay…. Still as good! Arentzazu is a very pleasant and available host. The apartment is perfect, located close to the beach, and possibility to enjoy everything nearby. The apartment is beautiful and has a lovely balcony over looking the harbour and ocean. The kitchen has everything you need and is spotless and up market. The bed was so comfy, as good as our own. The a/c worked well and was nearly silent. Overall I would recommend this apartment very highly as I would Villaricus which is a lovely village. A rental car is required and if the car is a but bulky you might find the underground parking a bit tricky. I ended up parking mine outside where there is loads of space. There is a great hardware store behind the supermarket at Playa Vera that sells all the essentials for the beach ie a corkscrew for the umbrella seats etc so you can be like the locals.

our stay has been great, the apartment is beautiful the patio is great to be with the family, if the children are older you can go to the pool walking because it is right behind. the area is super quiet respecting the hours of silence, right in front there is a super that they have everything even if it seems small and by the area more. You have the maritimo walk and the garrocha beach 10 minutes away. Jorge is a very attentive and polite person. She was attentive at all times to know how we were and by going alone with the children I allowed myself to enter earlier. I can't say anything negative except that I missed days to see more things. we will be back for sure.

I enjoyed my short stay. The beach is across the street. Restaurants and shops are plentiful and easy to walk to. I loved walking along the promenade. I got lost trying to find it. Ask for the name of a restaurant nearby to use as a landmark. That will make it easier to find. Most buildings don't have numbers on them.

The house was amazing and so comfortable with great facilities. We enjoyed the outside spaces, especially relaxing on the roof top terrace with sea views and wonderful sun rises. It’s a perfect location with so much to do. A car helped us explore further beyond beautiful Mojacar. Romaine is a perfect host and we were grateful for the whole experience, enhanced by Romaines support, evident right from the point of booking our holiday. It’s all perfect and the house is so tastefully put together, with everything you need for a perfect stay. We will return without a doubt!
