Family-friendly holiday rentals in Vestfold

We stayed at the place for 3 days. It worked out great for us. The views from the place were awesome. It was big enough for our group to spread out and kids really enjoyed the foosball table. The hike down to the ocean was nice. Ample parking and quiet neighborhood. Kelly was very responsive, helpful and made our stay very comfortable. Only downside is that the place is an hour away from Oslo. The drive back to the place felt very long after a long day of sightseeing.

The cabin was in a beautiful location, with incredible views over the water. Everything in the cabin was easy to find and use. I'd definitely recommend hiring a car, so you can explore Holmsbu and nearby towns. When we had to message, both Ingunn and Hilde were very quick to respond. We booked the hot tub for our final night too, which I would definitely recommend. The locals are very friendly and helpful. And it was beautiful to see some snow too

We only stayed one night to be close to the airport but Mikael’s place was great, really nice house, hot tub and sauna were great and you can see an archaeological site from the windows! Mikael was a very responsive host and I’m sorry we couldn’t have stayed longer.

Me, roommate, our dog and my parents had a super stay at Julie's place. There were four bedrooms so we had plenty of room. She even arranged a bed and chair for our baby and was very easy and pleasant to communicate with. In addition, it was a crazy cozy neighborhood with a nice beach nearby. Recommended :)

Upstairs apartment which really gave a Norwegian feeling. Everything is neat and clean and equipped with everything you need. Good beds and a lovely cozy seating area. Homely furnished . Relatively quiet location with within walking distance a lake restaurants and shops a short distance by car. Super friendly and helpful host . We would love to come again.

We enjoyed a super nice week as a family at Anne's cabin! Thank you Anne You are a great hostess, answered all questions immediately and helped us further. The location of the cottage offers pure enjoyment and tranquility with magnificent views as well as great places to play and read. We jumped into the 15 degrees fresh swimming lake in the sun. The kitchen offers everything you need to cook delicious meals. Wood and an oven provide warmth when the fog draws over the mountain, fresh fountain water tastes delicious, as well as the outdoor dishwasher make the real Norway feeling perfect. The nearby Ivarsbü provides unforgettable views of secluded hiking trails. We will be happy to come back. Small notes: Important after the last barrier at the first left turn immediately sharply to the left, then you will come on the way to the right road to the mountain hut.

We had a wonderful time with our three little children on this beautiful little island- it has become a place of heart and was the pure relaxation. The house makes you feel immediately comfortable, the host is very reliable and likeable and the sunsets at the fjord right on the water are indescribably beautiful. We hope to come back soon!!

We were two families with a total of four children aged 2-6 renting the cabin for a long weekend and there was plenty of space for all of us. The cabin with the garden is really nice with everything one needs for a nice summer trip and the location is very nice. Short walking distance to nice beach, and short drive to grocery stores. It was simple and pleasant to communicate with Christopher, who also responded quickly to anything you had to wonder about. Will definitely rent the cabin again if we get the chance!

Annabel and Fred are very warm hosts and have prepared their guest house with a fine sense of aesthetics: with exposed wooden beams, a well-equipped kitchen and a large dining table, with a wood stove, a cozy sofa, memorabilia of old times and fresh flowers the garden. From the main room you have an unobstructed view of the sea, from time to time you can hear the sheep bleeding quietly. It is not far to a small secluded swimming spot where you can even make a fire. Late in the evening, fog lies above the sheep pasture, the moon and stars glow into the dusk - it's just beautiful there!

Great cabin at Scandic harbor. The cabin has what you need and a nice balcony with evening sun. Short to the beach. Recommended.

We had an unusual situation where another AirBnB rental fell through at the last minute, in a remote area. Stina was enormously helpful in getting us settled and comfortable in a very short window. Outstanding host!

Very nice house, perfect for a family with kids. The outer space is what made the difference for us thanks to the kids entertainment and the pool (we traveled with 4 kids below 4 years old). The bedrooms distribution in the house allowed also to separate the kids and avoid waking up eachother at night so it worked perfectly for us. Very good and quick communication with the host. Only small defect is one only bathroom with shower (even if it’s consistent with the description) which can easily make queue when 2 families come back after the day. Also for the price I think bedsheets / towels should have been included. Other than that a perfect stay and really recommended house :)
