Architect-designed Archipelago house on small island in Piteå

We stayed with Katrine for a week in February 2025: 4 adults and a 2-year-old child. 3 beautiful houses, close to each other. The large house was the family meeting point. We "only" used the other two houses to stay overnight. The houses are tastefully decorated and everything was available: kitchen utensils, salt, pepper, oil and much more. The wood for the fireplace was ready. The sauna has been used extensively... a fantastic view to the north from the large sauna window. And the jacuzzi with northern lights is also highly recommended. Our host also organized a wonderful snowmobile tour for us: 70 km, 4 hours. Overall it was a wonderful experience in this northern region of Sweden. By the way: The journey by rental car from Lulea (airport about 40 km away) worked out great. There is plenty of shopping in Pitea, also on Sundays until 10 pm. The bottom line is a clear recommendation for everyone to travel.

We had an excellent stay at Stefans cabin. Not only is the cabin itself perfectly equipped with everything you need while being very cozy at the same time - but Stefan is also an absolute gem of a host :) Through him we were able to enjoy a snowmobile-tour through the surrounding forests with his friend. Additionally he recommended we could accompany him to an Icehockey Match in Luleå, which was a blast! As guests we can only recommend a stay with him, especially if you enjoy wonderful nature, northern lights, sauna-evenings and great company. We‘re looking forward to a second stay ☺️

The paradise by the beach

Lars' place is located in a little corner of heaven, wedged between the frozen Baltic Sea and the snowy forest. You are both alone in the world and close to everything (25min from Lulea). Lars is very attentive ( snow removal regularly accesses, made my 8-year-old son snowy bike ride who loved it, the fire that was ready in the fireplace when we arrived etc etc.). Over a week we had the opportunity to see 2 nights in a row of the Northern Lights in the nearby forest and beautiful sunsets over the Baltic Sea. The house is spacious and very bright especially with a glass window opposite the sea which is great. The floor heating is very nice and you can embellish it with a fireplace that will brighten it all up. We loved it and we 100% recommend it.

I had a dream stay with Jan and Mona. Not only is the accommodation very comfortable, well-equipped and very cozy, but the hosts are very welcoming and attentive. I've never been more warmly excited about my Airbnb Experiences than at Jan and Mona! I knew everything was going to live up to my expectations based on the description of the accommodation and the glowing reviews of the different tenants, but the experience was beyond my expectations: I found a little piece of heaven, a real haven of peace . I will be back for sure! I was able to walk every day on the ice road, it was magical! There is everything you need on site for beautiful walks and outdoor activities, as well as self-care with the sauna and hot tub. I enjoyed making a fire in the fire place. If I could have given a sixth star, I would have done it without hesitation. I would recommend this wonderful place very refreshing.

House by lake & ski resort in Swedish Lapland

We had an amazing time at the house. We were here for 4 weeks and worked online. The house is very very confortable and wonderfully warm. It was always good to come 'home' after a walk. The area is a little smaller in October, but it was very interesting to see how the ski slope was prepared with last year's snow. It is a true winter sports village. Also, Storforsen (40 km longer) is very worth a visit.

a lovely and cosy place to stay. everything is really nice. the owner is very helpfull and we had a warm welcone. the kids were feating the cows, get a small ride on the snowscoot. the horses are lovelly! we booked 3 nights but stayed 4! that will say enough

Farm in a rural location

The location, the place, the house - everything just perfect. You can tell that Linda lives in it with her family, as everything is very homely. We were 5 people and there was enough space. Highlight is the large kitchen-living room, which is very well equipped, and also the large living room with a cozy couch and fireplace. Linda always writes back right away and is also super accessible during the stay (as before). The accommodation is not far from Lulea, as well as other activities (husky tour, snowmobile ...) are all easily accessible by car in a short time. We were also lucky enough to see aurora lights for three days in a row. It was a very great holiday for us, also because of the accommodation. We can only recommend it and come back any time! Thank you for everything, Linda!
