Catherine was such a helpful and kind host. We booked at short notice then asked to add 2 more guests and she immediately put two extra beds in the property for us. It was in an atypical, colorful and lively house that Melanie welcomed us. We are in the original spirit of Airbnb namely, to spend a stay in a house where Mélanine and his family live! 😊 We donated our awakenings with their cat in a place decorated with plants. The house is located in the center of the village, the place is peaceful and easy to reach.

Sophie’s house is on a historic street with many other ancient but well-maintained homes. It is in the centre of Chinon, walkable to everything in the centre-ville. Parking was a few blocks away but free, and we were able to drive to the door of the house to drop off and pick up our luggage. It has all you need - the kitchen is very well kitted out, the whole house was spotless, and Sophie left us a starter kit of milk, butter, eggs, juice, fruit and wine - very kind. There is a set of steep narrow stairs to the bedrooms/bathrooms (2 sets on different floors), and tall folks will have to watch out on one step, but overall, we were very comfortable there. It was chilly and damp during our stay, but the house was very cosy. Sophie met us at the house to give us a tour, and was there to say goodbye. Very handy to have both a washer and dryer. We were invited to feed the local street kitty, who appeared twice a day to ask for her food. Chinon is a great base to tour many Loire chateaux.

David is welcoming, friendly, and available. Her home is comfortable and well equipped. We had a very good night there, I would recommend it.

Beautiful spacious and well equipped house. In a quiet road a short walk from the centre of Chinon and all the restaurants and shops. Will definitely stay here again.

While traveling to Poitiers in April 2025, we rented this place for two nights. Everything about it is excellent The accommodation is very pretty, well maintained, very well equipped ( iron and ironing table, washing machine, walk-in shower with separate toilet). It is ideally located, 5 minutes from the train station on foot and 10 min from the city center. The owner Samuel is very easily reachable, responsive, accommodating and very friendly. I really recommend this place, you won't be disappointed.

It is a very nice house with a lovely garden on a quiet street. A nice kitchen, a large living room, where we hardly sat . The bedroom upstairs is accessible via a somewhat steep staircase masr. The house was sparkling clean. Anna-Lise is a great host, nice and she responds quickly. The house is located near downtown Chauvigny. Beautiful and interesting area as well.

we had a great stay in this typical and warmly decorated house. we enjoyed the stay and its library where everyone could draw a good book, we enjoyed the gastronomic living of the region and the richness of its historical heritage.

The old gendarmerie is a peaceful place for the holidays. We had a great time. The house is very well equipped, there is something for everyone! (arcade terminal, pinball, swimming pool, ping pong table…) Hosts are responsive, communication is easy. We recommend it!
