The apartment is very nice, close to the beach, it is spacious, has a kitchen with all the necessary cooking utensils. It has a nice balcony. Recommended

Super nice stay on a nice part of Maio. Very clean space, nice large pool, sweet helpful hosts. And Maio is also wonderful if you want to visit tranquility and an untouched piece of island.

The house is just like in the photographs, a wooden construction in which nothing has been left to chance and which is filled with small details and revealing details of the love and affection with which it was built and appreciated. Like any wooden house, it is already showing small points in need of maintenance, but nothing serious. The view from the house on the outer porch is stunning and it's precisely what we loved the most. To stay outside at night, observing the immensity of the starry sky and in silence, only with the sound of the sea, was equally pleasant. The perfect home to welcome us with our family. We leave with great desire to return for more days. Small appliances missing can improve the experience (kettle or coffee maker). On the contiguous terrain of the house a new dwelling is being built, which removes privacy from the porch. Workers are respectful and do not start making noise too early.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Alessandro’s place. He and his wife were very welcoming, the house is beautiful and perfectly located. Alessandro was always helpful and kind and would happily answer questions, give recommendations and let me feel at home. Unfortunately, I could not communicate much with his wife because I don’t speak her languages. But she was patient with me when I tried to talk to her and was very kind, too. She is a great cook and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner with them. I highly recommend this place and highly recommend having at least (!!) one meal with them :) I am already thinking about coming back because I only got to spend 3 nights there.

Fabulous. Very nice house, Beautiful view, the pool is splendid and the private beach at the foot of the house is absolutely wonderful - 10 minutes walk from the village beach - very friendly with its small bars - and 15 minutes from the sublime wild beach of Preta - the welcome is very well managed - The team helped us take the ferry tickets - an ideal place to rest in the sweetness of the island of Maio.

I have to said it was a pleasure for me to stay over Alessandro's place. I enjoyed every minute.I felt like at home. The top floor apartment has got a beautiful terrace with stunning sea view. It brought a peace into my soul ever morning.. Alessandro is very caring and helpful host. I can highly recommend that place to everyone who would love to escape from busy and stressful lifestyle into absolute peace of mind ♥️. thank you again Radim

Andrea's place is very well located as it is a few 100m to the nearest supermarket as well as to the city beach a good quarter of an hour walk. The house has been lovingly built, the garden very green. Under the tree you can relax wonderfully in the shade. The barbecue invites you to fry fish and vegetables in the evening. The communication with Andrea went smoothly, there were very good tips and an answer to all questions. Clear recommendation!

Excellent relationship with Alessandro, always very attentive, and very pleasant discussions. The house he built is very beautiful but requires some renovation work. Large bedroom with beautiful terrace on the 3rd floor overlooking the sea (lots of stairs to climb!) but "spartan" comfort with tiny bathroom +toilet (cold water only), which is better suited for a solo traveler. Curtains/ curtains to French doors would give a little more privacy to the people who venture onto the terrace to use the washing machine or hang laundry!

The house is large and spacious, very well located and with a wonderful beach view. Because of its location, access to the beach directly and is only 5m walk from the center of the village.
