Holiday rentals with beach access in Viseu District

what a sublime place. it was perfect. the location is outstanding, the people are great. the views are incredible. our time here was the icing on the cake for our portugal trip. we would hope to come back.

Everything was perfect. Peter's quinta is great and an oasis of tranquility. Great views, beautiful vegetation, expansive... Peter is very nice and was very flexible with check in and check out, although we arrived much later than advertised. You can go hiking, eating and also experiencing a lot of culture (e.g. Via Románica) in the area. Thanks, we'll be happy to come back.

Mr. Peter welcomes his visitors in person and with open arms. The space (a farm) is wonderful, calm and with a lot of privacy. The room has everything you need including a small kitchen, the bathroom was very clean upon arrival. Good pool to enjoy. A 5-minute walk is a café with bakery, a restaurant and a small children's playground recently opened. Walking a little further towards the Church of Abragão is a pharmacy and a mini-market, the church is also worth a visit.

The village is beautiful, idyllic, and the apartment has a very beautiful view of the river beach. Great for walking and hiking to see sites of historical interest. Perfect to rest and relax. I was very happy in Maria's apartment. Maria is a great host, responds quickly, gives tips of restaurants, market etc., and leaves everything very well explained. It was a great stay. Great little gem in the mountains with a private car park. Our host was able to provide a local home cooked dinner served in our dining room, which was perfect as our family wanted to stay in.

Updated studio apartment located steps from the docks and the main road. Since we took the train this allowed us to walk everywhere including to the vineyards which are in close proximity. There is a bar located below the apartment. So if you are a light sleeper keep that in mind.

Dajas Douro Valley was perhaps more beautiful than the photos! It was the perfect place to relax between adventures in Lisbon and Porto. We especially loved spending time by the pool by day and cozying up with a bottle of wine by the fire pit by night. Alexandra and Tatiana were very welcoming. A few tips for future guests: The property is nestled in the hillside which means it is at least 20 minutes from towns/restaurants. We rented a car which was helpful for exploring nearby areas, but be prepared for many narrow, steep and winding roads! We found that Waze gave better directions (less rustic) than Google maps. We also wished we had stopped at a grocery store to stock up on some food for our villa before arriving. I also recommend booking reservations at local wineries as we didn’t have much luck just showing up (midweek at least). My husband and I would absolutely stay here again!

highly recommend to visit this wonderful village, friendly neighbourhood and beautiful scenery! if you just visited Lisbon and Porto but missed this area, you Portugal trip will not be complete. The host is the native of the area, he will show you what you can do in this area.

Lovely peaceful house in the mountains of the country side, beautiful weather everyday. 5 of us had such a relaxing holiday, the pool is huge and was great to cool off and early morning swims. Spacious house with big bedrooms, supermarket and town 5 minutes drive away, close to the motorway to go places. We loved the pool down in the Vouga valley, canoeing down the rapids on the Rio Paiva was a fantastic day and a great drive in the mountains. Beaches and Aveiro are lovely and not too far away. Water Park at Amarante is also awesome.

We would rate Carla’s place as one of the best and most valuable accommodations we’ve stayed in. The house was impeccably clean, modern, and equipped with everything we needed to feel completely at home. It was both comfortable and unforgettable—in a word, perfect! Carla is a thoughtful and gracious host who provided us with all the information necessary for an exceptional stay. Her communication was outstanding; she was always quick to respond to any questions we had. The house looks exactly as it does in the photos, which is a rare and delightful bonus. We wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful home to anyone looking for an amazing experience.

Well designed house, spacious and very cosy. Leonardo left us firewood to ignite the fireplace in the living room and, along with the central heating, the house was left with the perfect atmosphere for cold winter days among friends.
