Family-friendly holiday rentals in Vitznau

We stayed at our place for a few days and we spent these wonderfully. Since we took our vacation in late summer, we had some services included. That was a very nice bonus to the place. The apartment was modern and clean. Our children also particularly enjoyed Pradas Resort. We went to Kids-Club, teens room, mini golf, in the pool, on the balloon slide outside, large playground seen upstairs, a herd of donkeys and much more. We highly recommend Pradas Resort and would love to come back ourselves. Thank you for the wonderful time at your placle🇨🇭💯

Very pretty place with super awesome mountain view. Fairly walkable from nearest bus stop if you do not mind walking a short distance uphill. There's a local community buss 22 serving the area if you have time to wait and that will save all the walking to public bus stop. No issues if driving. House is fully equiped and clean. Very warm for winter. Huge space too. Love the kitchen lots. Most importantly, host is very helpful and go above and beyond to make your stay happy and memorable. Very prompt and always there to provide prompt advise. Must stay if you are at Thun or Interlaken area.

We had a beautiful stay at Andreas' home! The home is cozy and furnished with all you might need, a terrace where to enjoy breakfast or a dinner with a beautiful view on the mountains. Andreas was extremely attentive and provided with many suggestions on where to go hiking and where to get the best local products! Last but not least, their home is the most sustainable I have ever visited :)

We had a wonderful stay. The place was amazing and exactly as listed. The hot tub had a perfect view of the mountains.

Esther's apartment is well equipped, you immediately feel comfortable. The quiet location and proximity to the train station are ideal for relaxing holidays and exploring the region. We will be happy to come back.

As a group of 9, we really enjoyed the stay at the aparment. There was everything you need to prepare a meal for you. It was all clean and easy to use. Did appreciate the dishwasher! Just as and information: the coffeemachine is a nescafe dolce gusto, if you need to buy the capsule. The communication with Chris was easy, clear and good. He welcomed us and showed us around and gave some information for around the apartement. We even could enter earlier as the check-in said! The whirepool was amazing, after the day it was nice to get in the whirpool (bring slippers). Also loooved that it came with a Netflix- Account, that we could use! we really enjoyed it and recommend it! Thanks alot

The home is beautiful and the views are beautiful. Paul and Theres were very responsive while we were in the home, giving us recommendations and letting us feed the animals. They were very helpful and brought us tablets as my boyfriend was ill, and they were flexible with our check out time too. I would recommend hiring a car if you want to visit other places, as there is not much to do without taking buses/trains. There are few English speakers in the area which is not a problem just something to be aware of! A beautiful stay in a beautiful home - thank you!

Great stay! The apartment was bright, spacious, clean, and well-equipped. Clear instructions for check-in/-out. Nice view and great location near Wilderswil train station for easy access to Grindelwald and the ski slopes. Highly recommended!

Excellent place, the host were great! The place is perfect to relax and know near areas. I truly hope that I have the opportunity to stay again.

Simply the best Airbnb we were in! Andi took 45 minutes at check-in to explain absolutely everything, not only from the apartment but gave us many recommendations to do around the area, the accommodation a 10, had absolutely EVERYTHING one needs, very complete, clean, all things / utensils impeccable, the location excellent since it was in the middle of all the towns we wanted to know, we had parking for the car. In short, everything was excellent but the best was the host, all the time in contact, he welcomed us after 7:30 pm and had a human quality that few have. Thank you for everything!!!!

Barbara's place was fantastic. It's right in front of West Station, so the location is very good, and the big mart is right in front. There were plenty of cutlery and kitchen utensils, and the bathroom was very nice to use. The bedding and bed were comfortable, so we had a comfortable stay during our stay in Interlaken.

It’s a very unique experience to stay in this lovely chalet! 100% unbeatable views! We stayed during the Christmas time and encountered heavy snow fall, so the cable car ride wasn’t very smooth. But Marylène gave us warning in advance and also stayed in touch the whole time! Thankfully everything went well eventually and we were all stunned by the view!

If you want to stay in a traditional historic Swiss farmhouse this really is the place for you. Yes, the floorboards creak and the ceilings are low, but nothing you wouldn't expect in a building of this age. It is well described and accurate. The views across the lake to the Rigi are breathtaking. It would be possible to simply sit all day and look out of the window. The accommodation has a lovely modern bathroom, is well equipped and as described. It is up a small private road which would be easy to miss if you didn't follow the clear instructions. Highly recommend a stay here. Jürg is lovely and the surroundings are simply gorgeous.

Best location ever! Heated floors make it very pleasant for a family. Matt was very responsive.

Actually 6 out of 5 stars. Natalie picked us up from the train station and we felt very welcome right away. Natalie and Benni are the born hosts, very helpful and have given us good advice on our needs. The chalet is in a great location, 5 min. by foot to the terminal and bus stations. Very nice surroundings and early sun. It is very homely and nothing is missing. We had a wonderful time.

We had a great stay at Silvia’s place! The location is perfect for ski in/out in Andermatt. We visited for a week from the states and had no issue navigating the area and had no need for a car. The free ski bus picks up right outside the apartment and takes you to everything you need - grocery store, restaurants, train station, etc. Silvia was always on top of communication and was quick in her responses. She helped recommend a place to rent skis as well as gave advice on navigating the train. We loved our time in Andermatt and would definitely look to stay at Silvia’s again if we return!

I’ve stayed at many Airbnbs around the world and this was definitely one of the best! Very clean. Lots of amenities. Absolutely beautiful location. Easy 30 min bus access to Interlaken and trains to anywhere in Switzerland.

The spacious appartement is beautiful and very clean. We had a great stay to explore the winter wonderland in Lucerne, Pilatus and Oeschinensee. Rita was very kind and helpful.

Nice Location, very friendly hosts, all flexible, no problems, one more bed with no problem, parking for 2 cars. Plus, close to the highway and access to work perfect! All what we needed!

Amazingly good place.

Right upon arrival we thought we'd love to come back here a second time when it's warmer outside. We really appreciated the tranquility and space and the space and you can be anywhere in the Emmental in a short time, even to Burgdorf it only takes a little more than 20 minutes. The reception was friendly and the apartment well furnished and lightning clean. Wifi works well, and great views into the distance!

It was just fantastic. Located in a hotel and the hotel was also fantastic. We were missing nothing. The place is a dream with an amazing view. Every day a mega view of the mountains and Lake Thun. In the room everything is modern and beautifully decorated. The hotel was too accommodating and always kind. Just like Dörthe, she is super friendly and responds quickly to questions. We were able to use everything in the hotel and everything is modern and beautifully made. Pure relaxation, fully used in the beautiful sauna and the swimming pool were enjoyed by the children. There is also everything for children. There were bathrobes and towels already in the room. In the sauna area , which you rarely see, bath towels are always ready and I have to say that speaks for the hotel and for the love for the guests. Whether breakfast or dinner, it was all very nice and very delicious. Dogs are also really welcome. Definitely happy to come back

Verena & Peter are very attentive, loving and helpful hosts. The apartment is very spacious, clean and super furnished, also the kitchen is very well equipped. The garden is very well maintained and in suitable weather and season it offers a beautiful, family retreat. The dear dog Aiko is very well behaved and the hosts ask if you are afraid of dogs and only then do they let him out of their apartment. Not only did we get a morning for the next day, but also a little lucky charm for my exam, which was the reason for the trip. Thank you for everything!
