We really enjoyed our stay.

One of the best places we've ever visited. Kathryn and Mike couldn't have been more hospitable and welcoming. The property was peaceful, with a canopy of old growth trees, and a wonderful breeze which made sitting on the gliders a morning must. The cabin was spacious with all the amenities of home; we wanted for nothing. This place was an amazing find. We hope to make it our annual respite.

Carol was a great hostess! She was very communicative with instructions and d remedy flexible. Thank you for a great stay! The kids loved seeing the goats and pig!

Our stay at Jean’s was fantastic! The place was exceptionally clean and cozy, with great access to the horse ranch. Would definitely be back visiting again.

While many picture Florida as just beaches and palm trees, Central Florida's lake country offers a different kind of beauty, perfectly showcased at Mary-Kathryn's property. My room faced their pristine pool and spa, with the lake stretching beyond. Each dawn, I watched the sun rise over water fringed by native grasses, while birds – including majestic sandhill cranes – began their morning routines. At night, frogs and grasshoppers serenaded as moonlight sparkled on the lake. While my schedule didn't allow time for the pool, I appreciated the comfortable room with its fluffy towels and cozy bed. MK's room also provides other small conveniences like soaps in the bathroom and a coffee maker and fridge. Since this wasn't a leisure trip, I'm already planning to return to fully experience all this peaceful lakeside haven offers.

Sherri was an amazing host! If I could give her 10 stars I would. She is a “live in” host who is very accommodating, caring, responds quickly and goes out of her way to make you feel at home and welcomed. Her property is very quiet, clean, private and perfect for what our group needed. She is a gem and enhanced our weekend experience. I highly recommend this host…

The Anchor House is fantastic! We had so much fun, great location, peaceful, beds were comfortable, every room is spacious. It felt like home. It was everything we could have asked for. Mrs. Priscilla's communication was spot on. No questions were necessary she covered everything in her messages. We will definitely stay here again.

Would highly recommend! Place was very clean and very peaceful. They allowed my daughter to pick eggs from the chicken coop, which made her day! Close to the Seminole Soccer Complex, many restaurants, grocery stores, etc. but still felt like you were secluded. Very responsive and had no issues! Would highly recommend and will be back. Best AirBNB we’ve stayed at to date.

Very nice and spacious house. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. They also responded very quickly. This was my first experience with Airbnb but my daughter says this was the best Airbnb stay she’s had.

We enjoyed our stay! The view of the lake was beautiful each morning. Great to sit in the screened in porch while having coffee and at the end of the day! Jeremy left us with lots of extras and was very responsive from start to finish. We had fun playing pool and basketball. We were 8 minutes away from where our son lives. This host site was a little piece of heaven! Beautiful property with local trails for horseback riding as well as hiking. Very clean one person at a time bath house. Close to shopping and Ocala national forest. The food truck that was available on the weekends had some very good brisket dinners. There was plenty of room to maneuver our 42 foot fifth wheel. The staff Wendy and Jen were very friendly and always helpful. Saturday movie nights in the covered arena are awesome. We enjoyed a potluck dinner during our stay. The wifi worked very well for us streaming Netflix and YouTube. The water quality is quite good and I drank it right from the faucet! We really loved it here and hope to come back in the future.

If you're looking for a quiet and private place to stay, this is it. If you don't mind the sound of roosters crowing and donkeys braying, or if you're like me and that makes you feel at home, then this is the place for you. If you're using navigation systems to find the place, be careful as the street names don't match navigation, however Rachel will clarify that for you upon initial contact. Our only issue was following Harley Davidson navigation so depending how you come in it will have you turn on McLain which is correct, except that if the street sign says McLain then that is he wrong turn as that part of McLain does not go all the way through to the property. The correct entry is as names in the add, but you have to use McLain in your navigation system. I know this sounds confusing, but as said, Rachel is awesome at making sense of it when she sends you the check in information. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.
