Holiday rentals in Waikato River

Our stay at Sonia’s Otaramarae house was amazing from start to finish, we usually stay at a very basic kiwi bach in Rotorua and this was a whole new experience with all the mod cons, comfy beds, wifi, Sky TV and a smart TV. The animals were very entertaining, fun to feed, and the daily fresh eggs were a big bonus. Already booking our stay for 2026 we enjoyed it so much. Sonia was super responsive to questions before and while we were there which was great. Appreciate being able to stay at this little piece of paradise.

Jessica's place was amazing, loved the outdoor space to sit after a busy day with a beer. Easy couple of minutes stroll to the town & beach which is absolutely amazing. Very clean, very comfortable beds, great shower. Would definitely recommend to a friend and come back!

We absolutely loved our stay! It was the perfect Airbnb to have friends and family stay the week of our wedding. The house is so spacious, with great open communal areas and we loved the games in the garage! It’s in a quiet area as well. Communication before, during and after has been fantastic and we would happily stay here again or recommend to anyone coming to Waihi Beach with a group.

For the larger family group of 8 this property was perfect. Easy to access Taupo as needed and a lovely peaceful property. Great furnishings and comfy sleep! The kitchen was full of everything and it felt like home from home. Host totally quick and responsive to a message I needed to send. Recommend highly, and will stay again as a large group.

A taste of Tuscany in Newstead is all we can say!! Great indoor outdoor flow with all the amenities to keep people active and engaged. The tennis court provided entertainment and controversy while the spa and pool provided relaxation and ambiance. The complementary bubbles received on arrival was well needed after a long trip with a talkative passenger. Great entertainment facilities and loved the touch of country surroundings, would stay again.

We loved this place. Great living area for socialising, well equipped kitchen, showers had awesome water pressure, several lovely areas to sit outdoors. Perfect for our family get together with some of us staying onsite and others in the town centre. And later some items we'd left behind were returned to us which we were grateful for.

Great place for a large group of people, plenty of room, nicely furnished, and very comfortable. Nicely situated in Rotorua, 5-10 mins from the restaurants and bars. Highly recommended.

Had a lovely stay with Whanau and the perfect spot to catch up. The spaces were huge with room for everyone and accommodated us all perfect So many amenities. The massage chair was a huge hit ! Hot tub fantastic Jennifer was excellent host. Loved the organic vibe with great recycling and Food scraps Orchards are amazing. Would not hesitate to recommend and especially return
