Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Walcheren

Ana was a wonderful host. She responds very quickly to the messages and gives clear instructions. The stay was wonderful! Very cozy cottage and super area to go to the beach or visit a town nearby. Highly recommended!

We stayed with 7 people in the cottage on weekends. The garden and terrace are adjacent to green meadows, as far as the eye can see. The house is clean and spacious. In addition to the dining and living space, there is a spacious veranda, where it is still pleasant to linger in the sun (even though it has become too cold outside). There was a cover with instructions and things to do nearby. The village and restaurants, as well as the beach are within walking distance. Great location!

For us it was a perfect stay. Neighbouring houses, but all with gardens, and in a calm surrounding, without noisy neighbours, and the small airport of Ursel close which was nice to discover the small -not noisy!!!- airplanes taking off and landing! Close enough to the coast as well if you want to visit the North sea, eg Knokke or Heist. I loved the coffemachine, and practical kitchen. The fact that there was no need for us to buy coffee or spices and condiments made my short stay truly more carefree. My two kids also loved the house and garden. So nice there was a KUBB game present to play with in the garden. We also much appreciated using the wood stove, the KLOEK fireplace outside and the more than wonderful barbecue. The rooms and the beds were also big and practical for our stay with 2 adults and 2 children, ages 9 and 11. Handy to have a bathroom both upstairs and downstairs.

Perfect place! The ninth of us had a wonderful stay in the newly renovated cottage. Everything is modern, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The facilities, especially in the kitchen, leave nothing to be desired. The large garden with terrace in a private and quiet location have also invited you to relax. The sandy beach is only a few steps away, and the quiet atmosphere in the park ensures pure relaxation. In addition, the host is extremely flexible, friendly, and always helpful. We highly recommend this property and would visit the property again at any time.

We were warmly welcomed in Sil and John's house. Sil was very kind and caring. It was no trouble for her to do just that little extra: light the wood stove, bring an extra blanket – nothing was hair too much. We were even allowed to check out later without any problems! The house was exactly what we were looking for: a nice interior (carefully designed and maintained by the owners), clean, cozy, quiet and with lots of privacy. What we especially liked very much was the privacy in the house and in the garden. There were also clear and extensive instructions at check-in, which was very pleasant. It was a very nice stay. Many thanks to Sil and John – it was beautiful! Repeatable ❤️

The plan was to relax and unwind and get a breath of fresh air in Zeeland, that was definitely successful! Inge and Marcel's lovely cottage was fully equipped, including a beautiful garden, fireplace and even a projector. We went to the beach in Burgh-Haamstede where our four-legged friend could also go his way. We enjoyed it and recommend it to everyone!

The house and garden are fantastic. We felt right at home. The view of the lighthouse is beautiful. The beach and dunes are easily accessible. Hosts are very friendly. Two and four-legged friends are completely satisfied. We'll be happy to come back. Excellent!

Perfect location, pretty big, nice and quiet.

Mieke and her husband Filip are such great hosts. Helping when you need them and with great tips for Brugge. If you're on the fence about the little house in their garden: Do it, you won't regret it! Thank you both for your hospitality.

The BzonderB of Sytske is a great location! It is nice and quiet,and has all the comforts. Tholen turned out to be very nice. In the cheese shop you can buy delicious sandwiches (they are baked where you are standing). Bergen op Zoom, Goes, Middelburg, Veere, Antwerpen and Rotterdam are easy to calculate from Tholen. Sytske always responds very quickly and kindly.

There were four of us with a dog over an extended weekend. Beautiful surroundings, in front directly on the beach, in the back directly in the dunes. Great for relaxing. Great beach walks with outdoor gastronomy in Blankenberge and Knokke-Heist, but you can also spend a great day in front of the fireplace in bad weather. Equipment all top - rarely seen such a well-equipped kitchen in an apartment! We booked the bath and bedding set, which is great and recommended. Small note on the bed situation: There is only one large duvet per double bed, which was completely ok for us, but is not normal in all countries and could lead to surprises. Nathalie was great, very friendly and proactive! Thanks so much for a great stay, we will be back!

With a friend and her dog, I was a guest in Diana's cute apartment. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend the apartment Everything was very clean and blissful and as described in the description. Only the small key safe was so inconspicuous that we would not have found it without help.

The cozy apartment is lovingly furnished and really offers everything you need. Ans is a really very friendly and accommodating host and went out of his way to show and explain everything to us. From sand toys to bikes, to children's books to the high chair, everything was really there. The apartment was absolutely clean and sparkling clean and Ans always asked when we saw if everything was okay or we needed something. We came home very refreshed - Thank you, Ans :-)

What a lovely place for a weekend getaway with friends. Communication with Evelien was quick and smooth. The cottage was clean, spacious, quiet and had nice facilities. Recommended!

What a wonderful place! Katia is a great host, responds quickly, thinks along and we were even allowed to check in earlier. The house is very complete and decorated with care. That made us feel right at home. Good to know..Ursel Air Base is really very close. So yes, you will hear an occasional plane coming over. On the other hand, it also has something else. And they start at 10 a.m. and keep up around 6 p.m. Sleeping in is therefore fine😉

The cottage is more beautiful than the images! It is accessible even if you do not have a car, though a car would've made things a lot easier 😅 The area has a few walking routes you can take and see some horses and sheeps. Great to wind down and be with nature for a while. Elena and Jasper are friendly and very responsive too. Overall I recommend! ☺️

We had a wonderful weekend here! The location is better than the pictures makes it look, at the front you will see a giga garden full of trees and birds and at the back you look right into the forest. Mouse quiet it was here and it was lovely. We have a dachshund that barks at every noise and he has barked twice during our weekend, once on a squirrel and once on the pump of the toilet (only the first time), so also for him a wonderful weekend. He snuggled in the garden for hours and enjoyed the sun behind the window. The road to it was very bumpy so beware of low cars, we came in a rainy period and the last part was difficult by car. You really sleep in the middle of nature, but in 10 minutes you are right in the center of Stekene, very crazy but super convenient! The kitchen is well equipped, we didn't miss anything and that says a lot :) The seats are nice and cosy and the bedroom is very nice. Bird song is your alarm clock here, glorious!

Super place, nice and clean with everything what you need with really beautifull private garden. The location close to the beach and in the forest is superb.
