The Place is spotless. The location is incredible. You’re right downtown. You’re within easy walking distance of restaurants and ice cream store and a coffee shop. Highly recommend the place.

Cindy's place was immaculate and so very comfortable from one end to the other. The furnishings and decor were outstanding, and her special touches including the snacks, the eggs and beverages in the refrigerator, and the design of and appliances in the kitchen were above and beyond what we've ever experienced. Total comfort and relaxation, and we definitely hope to return. A big thank you from both of us...

A wonderful stay in historic Winchester, VA. The space was exactly as listed, and such a cool, unique, historical residential building to enjoy during my stay. Kim provided great recommendations for local spots, was incredibly responsive and accommodating, and was a stellar host. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The location was safe, had off-street parking, and was very walkable- and worth a mention the bread/pastry shop recommended just a couple blocks away was amazing! I’d absolutely recommend a stay here for others exploring or passing through.

Amazing place for a short stay near by Luray and Shenandoah. Squeaky clean and a lot of good amenitues. Donna was also exceptionally good at communicating.

This is truly a hidden gem, and is hosted by absolutely wonderful people! we couldn't have had a better experience! Thank you so much for letting us stay here, it was quite the blessing and we are very grateful!

The most convenient stay I have ever had!

This is a great space and a very good location if you are looking for something in downtown Winchester. Great fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds and cool decor with easy parking and a short walk to the Winchester Old Town mall. We didn't get to check out the beautiful historic library next door, but maybe next time.

Beautiful secluded riverside place, very optimal for restful weekend getaway!

The Nest is nothing short of magical. Perched high above Chester Gap Valley, it feels like a slice of paradise—a serene haven wrapping you in a warm embrace. The calm, comfort, and peace are amplified by the rolling hills and tranquil surroundings. If you're escaping the hustle of DC or seeking a refreshing retreat, this is it. Julie is the epitome of a gracious host. Her warm hospitality shines through every detail of this impeccable home. Beyond its pristine cleanliness, it exudes charm and character, showcasing the care and love poured into crafting this beautiful space. From the unique decor to the thoughtful touches, it's not just a stay—it's an experience. As we departed, our spirits felt lifted, refreshed, and inspired. The place was clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. The pool was still cold but the kids loved that it was open already and my wife and I appreciated the hot tub after a long day of traveling. The sound of the highway is noticeable, but after a day you get used to it. The yard was private and sat back away from the road which was nice for the kids to play in. If we find ourselves in Virginia we would stay here again.

It was a great location easy walk into downtown. Where you can find many coffee shops, restaurants, and breweries. As stated in the description the house is older and is not a 5 star accommodation, but honestly for the price I was very happy with this location to stay. The WIFi worked great, TV had all the streaming channels you could use, and they even provided coffee and some protein bars. We did not get a chance to use it but there is a fire pit in the back yard.

We had a very nice 3 day weekend at Elizabeth's place. The house was really cozy and we felt relaxed and at home there. It was a great location to reconnect with family as my brother and his wife only had to drive an hour from DC area to spend time with us. We enjoyed being able to walk from the house to downtown for lunch at the Box Office Brewery and antiquing at Strasburg Emporium. On a sunnier day, we had a great hike at nearby Elizabeth Furnace Recreation Area. Something for everyone in the area!

We had a great weekend staying at the home. Everything was exactly as described and wonderfully comfortable.

This getaway in the woods was lovely! All of the instructions were helpful and funny from how to check in to how to turn on the deck lights. My friends and I are already planning a trip back.

Great place to stay while visiting Shenandoah National Park. Fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. Host also provided travel crib for our little one.
